Vox Maris Resort Hotel

Vox Maris is a well rounded all inclusive holiday with its pros and cons. I would say the pros outweigh the cons, cons are just minor annoyances really. Pros - the day time snack bar around the pool, fantastic variety and quality, brilliant staff nothing is too much trouble for them. - lots of options of daytime activities around the pool - rooms are spotless and house keepers are fantastic. - the on site shops are great and not too expensive (the handbag guy is brilliant). - QR codes around the pool so no need to stand in a long bar queue for long periods of time. - we were allowed to extend our room on day of check out until 3pm for just €30 -shuttles to the beach regularly. - the shisha man was the best part of our trip, even going as far to give his personal number to call him at home if we ever want shisha. Outstanding service. Now for the cons… - cats in the restaurant being fed by wait staff, encouraging them to tables. - entertainment team whilst enthusiastic didn’t express any interest in me and my husband all week. The male entertainers are happy to sit with you, so long as you’re a group of young women. I did the aqua jump one afternoon and the young lady looked like she’d rather be anywhere else. - Cocktails are very unpredictable, sometimes you can order the same drink one after another and they’re completely different colours, tasting etc. very strong to the point where it’s undrinkable sometimes. All in all a good holiday just needs more attention to details. You get what you pay for really.

We’ve returned from a fantastic 2-week stay at Vox Hotel as a family of four. As our son has now turned 17, this was our first adults-only holiday, and overall we had an amazing time. There were a few small negatives, but nothing that would stop us from returning, and we’re already talking about coming back. From the moment we arrived, the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming. We were originally given a room on the 4th floor, but as I’m scared of heights, I mentioned it at reception. Without any hesitation, they immediately offered to move us to whichever floor we preferred, and we chose the 1st floor. The whole process was quick and efficient, and it really set the tone for the excellent customer service throughout our stay. We stayed in a two-bedroom family room which was spacious and comfortable. The only downside was the layout. The room with the two single beds was separated by a locked connecting door, meaning the only access to the bathroom was through the main bedroom, so the children had to walk through our room. It wasn’t a huge problem, but a little more privacy would have been nice. There was also very limited wardrobe space, with storage only really available in one room, so we ended up using one of the spare beds to keep our clothes on. Again, we managed perfectly well, but it’s something worth mentioning. Our room also overlooked a pretty awful view, but as we hardly spent any time on the balcony, it really wasn’t an issue for us. The animation team deserve a special mention because they really made our holiday. Buse was absolutely brilliant. We joined her water gym every day and took part in the dance classes, which my daughter absolutely loved. She has so much energy and enthusiasm and is genuinely lovely. A huge thank you as well to Araz, Alia and Nuri, who all worked incredibly hard to keep everyone entertained throughout the day. The pool area was great. We never struggled to find sunbeds, no matter what time we went down, and the slides were great fun. The staff around the pool worked tirelessly, regularly coming around with drinks and constantly clearing away empty cups and plates. The beach was another highlight. It’s only a two-minute shuttle bus ride away, with the bus running every 15 minutes. The driver was so friendly and polite, always helping people with inflatables and even turning back if he spotted guests waiting. There were always plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas available, regardless of the time of day, and one of the beach staff regularly brushed the sand off the loungers, which was a lovely touch. The food and drinks at the beach bar were also really good. Housekeeping did an excellent job. Our room was cleaned every day to a high standard, and every member of the team was friendly and always smiling. One thing that really stood out during our stay was the customer service. My husband and I were already talking about returning and wanted to see one of the top-floor rooms with the spa bath. We asked at reception if it would be possible to have a look, and within minutes someone was taking us upstairs to show us around. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble for any member of staff. The food was good overall. It could become a little repetitive after two weeks, but we always found something to eat and certainly never went hungry. The waffles and ice cream were delicious, and the lady making them was always so friendly and polite. The evening entertainment was enjoyable, with some nights standing out more than others. We particularly loved the Michael Jackson tribute and the Turkish dancing. There was always something happening throughout the day and evening. My husband and son especially enjoyed taking part in the afternoon water polo and darts competitions. Our airport transfer on arrival took around an hour and a half, so for the journey home we booked a private transfer for €50. It was much quicker and far more comfortable, and we’d definitely do that again. Overall, we had a fantastic holiday. The staff are a real credit to the hotel—they work incredibly hard and genuinely care about making sure guests have a great experience. Although there are a few small areas that could be improved, such as the room layout, storage space and the variety of food, none of these spoiled our holiday. We had a wonderful two weeks and would happily return to Vox Hotel in the future.

The hotel is nice, the staff can be moody at times, but there's one person who instantly brightens your day and brings a zest for life! The blonde bartender, named BERAT, is always helpful and always provides the best service! The massages are also great! Best regards to the beautiful ladies who do it so professionally!

Hotel is beautiful, beyond clean, food exceptional and staff were all amazing! However We upgraded to a swim up room (1045) when we arrived (480 euro for 11 days), we were walked around the hotel on arrival by the concierge to show us the possible upgrades avaliable, a top floor room with tub, and a swim up room and then finally the room we had been allocated with an horriric view literally in the corner facing another balcony on the 2nd floor above the lobby! we had no option but to upgrade - it was really that bad! However we would not recommend any of the swim up rooms, we only used ours for 3hours on our first day because it was shaded from 10am (head in full shade on a lounger) our balcony was not big enough to move a sunbed around, if they arent shaded they are massively overlooked by the snack bar area and they are by the pool where all the evening entertainment is along with the 24/7 bar, so extremely noisey on an evening (not at all a luxury room) we had very poor WiFi to order drinks which was a perk to the room via bulter service (the only drinks which we ordered i had to chase up with reception (one 3 phone calls) and arrived after 50mins and the order was wrong!) we went to reception on 3 occasions about wifi but each time it was dismissed - shrugging of shoulders. If you want a sunbed by the pool set an alarm and get there for 7.30am, even though reserving sunbeds isnt allowed it isnt managed so come 10am theres nothing left and its absolutely packed! Theres also nothing around the hotel unless you like a long walk or a taxi ride. With all this said we did have an amazing time, Staff, food, entertainment team and cleanliness made up for the poor management of hotel rules and processes like how do you order drinks to a swim up room with no WiFi?! Leaving an average star review because feel we were scammed when we arrived, we were told we had sun on the swim up balcony until 3pm. We were shown around at 4.30pm and trusted them. Honesty is the best policy! Would we return...no!

Hotel reception staff were awful. I paid for late checkout and they put me in a disabled room the shower was not working , when I reported this they said it was my fault for not reporting it and I will not get a refund. I strongly do not recommend this hotel. Furthermore the AL A carte restaurant are only open 2 days a week for the evenings i it is not advertised properly realistically this is not a proper all inclusive.
