Voyage Sorgun

Once again we visited this fantastic facility. Although when booking a holiday the facility, food, cleanliness are of the utmost importance, it is all the Voyage Sorgun staff that make our holidays there so special. From the guest relations team (unique and very special at Voyage Sorgun) to all the staff from Food halls, bars, cleaners and of course all the Animation tea. They all go out of there way to make your holiday special and memorable. We have been many times and now do not consider anywhere else as it ticks all the boxes for us. Gordon, Yelena and family.

We (2 adults, 2 kids aged 4 & 9) had an incredible time at this wonderful hotel. Around an hour away from Antalya airport it’s setting is a large, verdant, clean, resort with bungalows dotted around the main building area making it tranquil despite being obviously popular. The staff and service are impeccable. We really appreciated the hotel app where we had round the clock support from Zhaina, Ulun and Kamila (apologies for the spelling) who answered every question promptly and helpfully. They also arranged some lovely decorations in our room and a Birthday cake for my daughters which just added to the special, personalised level of service you may not get elsewhere. QR codes at every table and sun lounger were also brilliant at being able to view menus and order drinks, food and snacks whenever we needed. There’s an array of swimming pools (including 2 indoor pools and a 16+ one we didn’t use) which were generally large and clean. The beach is a bit rocky so we spent the majority of the time in the activity and family pools which were fun and lively with classes and games taking place through the day but still spacious enough for general swimming and splashing about. The small aqua park is a nice touch and there’s a toddler pool next to it which is great for younger children. Plus, other activities which take place through the day. We tried the archery and the shooting which were well organised and fun! The kids club is also very good. Staff are super friendly and speak an impressive number of languages. We didn’t leave our kids there specifically, but they enjoyed being able to pop in and out through the day to take part in the activities and enjoying some down time to play with the toys or do some colouring after a busy day of swimming and eating! Talking of which… The food quality and options were what really stood out for us. The main buffet restaurant (Degusto) had something for everyone but it was nice to see a fresh sushi section as well as a range of changing cooked meats and seafood on different days. The service was fast, efficient, friendly with a lot of staff on standby to clean tables and offer drinks. Same goes for the pool restaurant/snack bar. Loads of options, all high quality and tasty. Cuisine24, is the 24 hour A la carte restaurant and was really good! We got to the hotel quite late on our first night so it was great to have a hot, freshly cooked meal after a long journey! But what made Voyage Sorgun exceptional for us was the freshly made chocolate and patisserie sections. Everything looked and tasted amazing! It really felt like a special holiday and we didn’t want to leave. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely fantastic holiday! Just come back from a weeks stay here with my family (including 4 year old daughter and 8m old baby). Honestly a great hotel for families- really felt welcome with my children in 99% of the premises (couple of adult only bits which felt more than fair). Highlights: Staff and service - very friendly and nothing was ever a problem for anyone. Drinks - great QR code system from every sunlounger. High quality cocktails that I would have genuinely been happy to pay 8-10eur for. Food - great quality and varied buffet. Tried the Italian and Greek restaurants and both were great. Lovely patisserie and chocolatier that we only managed to try once (as too full!) Grounds and pool - well maintained and great surroundings. Entertainment- fabulous pool party and night time entertainment really was great! (Small) cons / nitpicking! Rooms were quite small - not really much of an issue as just used them to sleep and get ready but, even in bungalow, no sitting area. Limited Baby care facility - as a breast feeding mum, would have been nice to see one or two baby care rooms in the main hub of hotel (a very minor point as just breastfed discreetly anyway and never had an issue). TIP: this hotel is at least 75 mins straight drive from Antalya airport during daylight hours -DO book a private transfer

We came back to this hotel because three years ago we completely fell in love with it. It is still one of our favorite places in Türkiye, thanks to its beautiful grounds, excellent service, delicious food, great cocktails, sports activities and wonderful staff( the best we’ve seen). Compared to our previous stay, we noticed a few changes. We miss the spectacular evening shows and the international music that made every night feel like a celebration. The quality of one of our favorite à la carte restaurants also wasn’t quite the same as we remembered, and we hope the hotel will continue improving the beach and keep the spa area as peaceful as possible. What impressed us the most, however, was the hotel’s response. As soon as we shared our feedback, the team immediately contacted us, listened carefully, offered solutions, invited us back to Vista, and genuinely tried to improve our experience. That level of care is rare and deserves recognition. A special thank you to our assistant, Ulan, Zhayna and Kamika for their kindness, professionalism and sincere willingness to help. Guests truly feel heard and valued. No hotel is perfect, but what makes a great hotel is how it treats its guests. This team clearly cares, and that is why we are happy to give them five stars. We sincerely hope to return again.

We had a truly wonderful holiday at Voyage Sorgun at the end of May. We were three generations aged 5 to 75 and there really was something for everyone. We had a very welcoming check-in at Reception, so first impressions were excellent. We had double rooms and family rooms on the third floor, all with sea views. Rooms were spotlessly clean (thank you so much, Zara and colleagues – and for the birthday decorations 😊), and very well equipped, particularly with toiletries and associated items - and the hairdryer works really well! Any additional requirements were very promptly dealt with via the hotel chatline. This function works brilliantly and huge thanks to Kamila, Ulan and Adina for dealing with all our requests with efficiency and warmth. We were especially grateful that, very luckily, they were able to facilitate a late check-out for us on our final day. It was a busy week because of school half-term and Turkish celebrations but we managed to find sunbeds for all of us every day without too much trouble. The grassed area is lovely and there are numerous pools, including an adults-only one; also, an adults-only beach pier. Because there are so many, they never seemed crowded. The children and grandchildren loved the variety of waterslides and they catered for all ages. The food in Degusto (main restaurant) is of incredible quality and variety, to the point that you found yourself constantly missing goodies that others had found. The chefs and their teams do an amazing job and should be hugely proud of what they achieve. In fact, we didn’t have anything other than top-class food and service wherever we ate. We visited two speciality restaurants for birthdays (thanks for the delicious cakes and singing!): Italian Vista – food and service were excellent and the grandchildren loved Chef’s table-side flambé spectacle (order Tagliatelle Flambé). The Greek Buzuki restaurant was amazing (make sure you are very hungry) - again, food and service just incredible, plus we enjoyed the brilliant musicians and all the accompanying celebrations. (We booked the Italian restaurant with the hotel in advance of our arrival as one birthday was the next day; otherwise book via the chatline service.) Note that there is a cover charge for the speciality restaurants but if you have a special event to celebrate, they are worth it. However, I feel it would generate some super guest goodwill if the hotel were to consider offering just one free visit per week to these restaurants. Various of us tried the gym (very good equipment); the yoga and Pilates classes (well-taught, under a shaded area); the table-tennis (again under a wind-free shaded area); the games room; the bowling (needs advance booking); the kids’ club (lots of activities, lovely caring staff, very secure area); the funfair area, sadly under-used while we were there but the grandchildren therefore had free rein on everything and were extremely happy! And thank you to the lovely Mehmet (sincere apologies if I’ve misremembered the name) for your kindness, humour and patience with them. For us, the evening entertainment was a mixed bag, but probably there was something to suit most tastes. Having said that, big shout-out to everyone involved in the Cotton Club production which was just fantastic. We used the local minibus service into Side from outside the hotel into the bus station. No 11 there and No 10 back – 65 Turkish lira (£1-ish) each way. It’s definitely worth a visit to see the magnificent ruins; plus there is a lovely promenade walk with numerous bars and restaurants. The staff at this hotel are just superb, always smiling, always helpful and accommodating, brilliant at remembering your preferences, we cannot praise them highly enough. We can only name those with whom we had the most interaction, of course. In Degusto: Jazgul, Semetei and Janna, our lovely waiters; Adem the very smiley sweeper; and the ‘egg-ladies’ whose names we didn’t get, sorry. In Vista: Tuncay and Elina our waiters. Also, just to say that the hotel grounds are beautifully kept so credit to the team of gardeners for this. But every single staff member deserves applause and thanks because they are the essence of what makes a holiday at Voyage Sorgun such an amazing experience.
