We would not return – definitely not a five-star experience Unfortunately, we really did not enjoy our stay at this hotel and would not return. I’ll start with the positives. The staff were genuinely lovely. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, smiling and always willing to help. The service in the restaurants, bars and at reception was consistently pleasant. There is also plenty for children to do. The kids’ club is good, with lots of activities, and our children really enjoyed the water slides. Sadly, that is more or less where the positives ended for us. The biggest disappointment by far was the food. It was honestly some of the worst food we have experienced in a hotel of this category. The quality of both the meat and fish was extremely poor – it tasted frozen, dry and overcooked to the point that we barely ate either during our stay. We tried all of the à la carte restaurants, and the only one we enjoyed was the meat restaurant, where dinner for our family cost around €100 extra. The main buffet was particularly disappointing. The vegetables tasted bland and artificial, much of the food was greasy, and even the grilled meat and fish were so unappetising that we mostly avoided them. We have stayed in many hotels over the years, and this was probably the worst food we have had in a hotel in the last ten years. The second major issue was overcrowding. There are simply far too many guests for the size of the hotel. It felt crowded everywhere, all the time. Music was playing in multiple areas, there were people everywhere, and we constantly felt as though we were walking shoulder to shoulder through crowds. It became exhausting rather than relaxing. The only place where we could escape the crowds was the beach, probably because fewer guests wanted to use it due to the rather uncomfortable entry into the sea. Housekeeping was another disappointment. There was a huge amount of dust underneath our bed which was never cleaned during our stay. We even found someone else’s dirty black socks inside one of the drawers. Shampoo and shower gel were not automatically replenished when they ran out, so we repeatedly had to ask for them. Housekeeping trolleys seemed to be permanently parked in the corridors, which gave the hotel a messy, service-area feeling rather than the atmosphere of a five-star resort. Even worse, cleaning started at around 8 a.m., and we were regularly woken by vacuum cleaners, furniture and beds being moved around. The rooms themselves are also quite dated. The renovation feels old, the parquet flooring is visibly worn, and the overall condition simply does not correspond to what we would expect from a five-star hotel. We booked a family room plus an additional room, giving our family three bedrooms in total, so the amount of space and the layout worked well for us. Unfortunately, the dated condition and being woken by housekeeping every morning made the accommodation far less comfortable than it should have been. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel to travellers looking for a high-end or genuinely five-star holiday experience. If you enjoy very large, busy resorts with lots of entertainment and activities for children, you may feel differently. But if good food, tranquillity, quality accommodation and a more premium atmosphere are important to you, I would look elsewhere. As far as the five-star experience goes, the only truly five-star feature we could identify was the telephone next to the toilet.

We have just returned from the most amazing stay at Voyage Sorgun and honestly, I cannot recommend this hotel enough. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ From the moment we arrived, everything was incredible. The hotel itself is beautiful, spotlessly clean and set amongst the most gorgeous green surroundings. It somehow manages to feel luxurious while still being really relaxed. The food was absolutely outstanding. There was so much choice, everything was fresh and the quality was far beyond what I expected from an all-inclusive. The restaurants, drinks, snacks and little extras throughout the day were amazing — you genuinely never need to leave the hotel! What really stood out though was the service. Every member of staff we came across was friendly, hardworking and couldn’t do enough for you. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble and the whole hotel is run incredibly well. We also loved the pools, beach, facilities and the overall atmosphere. Even though the hotel has so much going on, there are still plenty of places to completely switch off and relax. We visited Turkey many years ago and, if I’m honest, we didn’t love our previous experience, so I wasn’t sure what to expect coming back. Voyage Sorgun has completely changed my opinion. We loved it so much that I was already looking at coming back again before we’d even left! 😂 One of the best all-inclusive hotels we have stayed at and somewhere I would happily recommend to friends and family. Thank you Voyage Sorgun for such a lovely stay. We will definitely be back! ❤️🇹🇷

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The hotel is very nice, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the food is absolutely delicious. The rooms were cleaned perfectly twice a day, which was a great touch. In the evenings, the staff would even ask if we needed any extra dry towels. The entertainment was fun and enjoyable, and the kids’ mini club was excellent — our children really enjoyed it. The only downside was the amount of smoking. Unfortunately, many guests smoked wherever they wanted, even when children were sitting nearby. It would be great if there were stricter rules and more designated smoking areas, especially around families and children. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend the hotel! 9 from 10!
