We recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a very positive experience. The hotel itself is clean, modern, and well laid out. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and equipped with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The grounds are also well maintained, and there is plenty of space around the resort. A large part of this review is aimed at anyone considering this hotel who has Coeliac disease or requires a strict gluten-free diet. On our first day, we had the pleasure of speaking with Mucahit from Guest Relations, who kindly sat down with us and arranged for the Head Chef to join the conversation. They took the time to understand my partner's dietary requirements and immediately put us at ease. For the remainder of our holiday, both Mucahit and the culinary team looked after us exceptionally well. They arranged for food to be pre-ordered in advance and prepared a variety of gluten-free options, including pizza, pancakes, and dishes within the à la carte restaurants that were not normally available gluten-free. My advice to anyone with Coeliac disease visiting this hotel would be to contact the hotel before arrival and make them aware of your requirements. Once you arrive, speak to Guest Relations on your first day and ask to meet with the chef. If you give them sufficient notice, they will do everything possible to accommodate you. However, it is important to understand that arriving at lunch or dinner and expecting specialist gluten-free dishes immediately will likely lead to disappointment. Many items require preparation and planning, so advance notice is essential. One area that needs improvement is the allergy communication process. We completed the allergy form at check-in, but this did not appear to make much difference to our experience because we had direct contact with Guest Relations. We spoke to several other guests with allergies who had completed the same form but found that restaurants were unaware of their requirements. The hotel should review this process to ensure allergy information is communicated effectively across all dining venues. We also struggled to secure restaurant reservations through the app. Thankfully, Guest Relations assisted us directly, which allowed us to enjoy more than just the buffet restaurants. For guests with dietary requirements, having Guest Relations manage reservations where possible would be a huge benefit. The hotel is fantastic for families, with plenty of activities and entertainment for children throughout the day. As a future parent, this is definitely somewhere I would consider returning to. There are a few areas where improvements could be made. The buffet food was often not hot enough, with some dishes being served only lukewarm. This could be easily resolved by increasing the temperature of the food warmers and ensuring food is maintained at an appropriate serving temperature. As a Guinness drinker, I also have to mention that the lobby bar staff could benefit from some training on how to pour a proper Guinness! More importantly, Guinness should be served in a Guinness glass rather than a cocktail glass. A small detail perhaps, but one that many guests will appreciate. The Asian restaurant also has room for improvement. Some menu descriptions did not accurately reflect the dishes served. For example, "Crispy Peking Duck" would traditionally be expected to include sliced duck served with pancakes, cucumber, and spring onion. Instead, the dish consisted of battered, deep-fried duck with pancakes and only a small amount of garnish. The quality was good, but the description created different expectations. Despite these points, the staff throughout the hotel were consistently friendly, accommodating, and a pleasure to deal with. Everyone seemed genuinely happy to be working there, which created a welcoming atmosphere throughout our stay. Would I return to this hotel in the future, especially with a child? Absolutely. Without hesitation. For anyone with Coeliac disease, I would highly recommend staying here, provided you communicate your requirements in advance and work closely with Guest Relations and the culinary team upon arrival.

First time here after staying in Barut Lara for 5 years running as we wanted a change. The hotel is very big, comprising of 3 main areas and is stunning in its design, views, gardens and is on a plot of land with views out to sea from most rooms. Our room was on the first floor in the adult only section was very modern and very comfortable. Large screen tv, mini bar coffee machine, dressing room and a great balcony overlooking the bay. There are restaurants in every area, 4 walk in and 3 a la carte to be booked. Plus the main buffet area with ample seating inside or out, children's area, adult only area. The staff are friendly and helpful. Overall a great hotel. Some downsides for us. On arrival we had very little in the way of a greeting as we arrived in the early hours. The TV greeting and thus the Internet would not work for 2 days as it did not see us as guest's, until i raised this with guest services to have it rectified. Booking the a la carte restaurants on the barut app is almost an impossibility. We had to ask guest services to get us 2 bookings. Other guests we spoke to had the same problems. In most of the restaurants no menu was offered but you were directed to a smart code to download it onto your phone. This I did not appreciate as i am on holiday and do not live by or carry my phone around with me. We nearly walked out of 2 restaurants because of this. Please offer a paper menu. The a la carte restaurants are the same. It's part of the ritual to peruse the menu to make your choice not scrolling back and forth on a small screen to make a choice. Entertainment. The shows were mainly local but well presented and choreographed. The show area is extremely well laid out and we enjoyed what we saw. The "disco" that usually followed after however was a disappointment as it was nothing but rave / Ibiza type music. Nothing for older people to dance to like mainstream pop or disco music. The average audience was 7 year olds jumping about. Then the rave disco on the beach booming out until nearly 1.00 was just wrong. Would I come again? Possibly Yes. Or maybe go back to lara beach.

Second time visiting anda and once again it was excellent. From the moment of arriving to leaving we had the best 9nights. Food was always great and never had a problem booking the al carts our favourite was tiger the food was insane. Hotel was so clean and fresh. The camera men my son literally made two friends out of them he even made them a goodbye card they were great with the kids and we had a photoshoot and loved the pictures. Only thing we notice this year compared to last year was the games room was free last year and this year they got rid of most the games for flashy rubbish and charges which is a huge let down. And the same last year they had a cotton candy machine and toffee apples in the fun fair and this year nothing until a week into our stay they put sweets and lollipops on a table. My son was really looking forward to coming back to the candy floss and games room as we would always do the rides then games room then show but obviously few things have changed. I felt like last year was definitely quicker service we had to keep reminding them of our drinks when we were in the main restaurant for drinks and the Mexican at lunch. Evening shows were good but only problem it’s the same every week so we had watch some shows twice. Overall it’s a great hotel and will return for a third time.
