Hapimag Sea Garden Bodrum

We had a great time at sea garden. The hotel staff is super friendly, the beach and sea are very nice and clean. A special shoutout goes out to Sultan, Aleyna and Pınar who took amazing care of our son at the kindergarten and to Ece for making the best coffee at the coffee bar in the morning. The food is generally also good, especially the Turkish dishes on the buffet. Why not 5 stars? - drinks at the beach bar are served out of the cheapest plastic cups. That’s unworthy of a 5 star resort - there could be more trash cans especially around the beach. During the day lots of trash keeps accumulating around the beach chairs - the coffee at the breakfast is really bad. Please invest in a few good coffee machines.

The check in process was smooth, however we were told To wait for cart to take us to our rooms, after 25mins it arrived which was a long wait after a day travelling, it was also only a 4 minute walk had we known to our room. not that it matters as our luggage did not materialise for a full hour later. The room was nice, we were in block one room 1222 overlooking the garden and partly the beach too. Well appointed room with nice toiletries included and a nice balcony for coffee in the morning which all the accommodation seemed to have as far as I could see. Quiet air con and a lovely bathroom. The resort is a good layout, there are some steep walks to the restaurant but that’s common in Turkey As costal areas tends To be hilly. gardens and beach are nice and never any issues finding a sun bed or space to sit/lay or a shady spot. There is a bar and coffee shop at the beach area, but neither did food so for lunch you have to get the cart or walk up to the buffet restaurant for food, no snack bars offering lunchtime snacks etc, or at least none open in October. The food was good generally in the Buffett. Varied selection for all. We did get a voucher for the Merhaba Restaurant, the mezza plata was lovely, but the mains not so good, we asked for a menu in English, apparently it was already, I began to wonder if I could not read as the English bit only told you what the main course Was served with, yogurt, Mint and tomato, when we asked what some of the main dishes were, we got told “very nice” and apparently Turkish Pasta is not a pasta dish? Never found out what it was. Could not use google Translate as the WiFi was not available in this area. Service here was very slow, and over and hour for the main course. Generally the staff were all nice, catered more for German language than English, but it’s a German hotel. The other à la carte restaurant “Laguna Lounge” which looked great was not open the whole week we stayed. Apparently they had some corporate events on, shame as its location and menu looked great. When we asked we just got told “not for you, no service tonight” Evening entertainment was very hit and miss, Couple of bands, mainly German language With some English songs, 3 nights of Agoria Sessions, not a clue that this was as it was meant to start at 9:30 but we did not see anything happen. There was a DJ one night after the band. The other Agoria sessions either Never happened or was a guy putting a playlist on. Tuesday night however is the drifters, so see what that like, although does not start till 10pm which seems to be the normal time. Sometimes 9:30. Bars, there are 3. One at the beach open till 1am, one in the lobby and one where the main stage and entertainment is, annoyingly this did not open at the same time, some nights 8:30, one 9:00, so if you were up that way you could Not get a drink unless you were in the restaurant which seemed riddictas aside From the beach bar it’s the only place to go in the evenings and it is a good 5 mins walk, Steep walk, Back to the lobby with no carts to run you around. All a bit odd and the bar got overwhelmed the moment a bar tender appeared. Easily you could wait 15 Mins + to be served. Pro Tip, No one seems to respect queueing, Other guest of staff! The beach bar is nice at night, however 3 of our 7 nights they ran out of Wine. Considering it’s all inclusive nobody seemed in a rush to call for some to be bought down which was disappointing. I don’t drink spirits so had beer which I also don’t really drink. I think some of this is due to the very young staff and poss being near the end of their season. Some were great, lots simply Could not be bothered at all. Lots of “what do you want” rather than “what would you like”. Just felt a little rushed and almost rude at times. Two big annoyances for us were more often than not the bar and coffee shop would have a queue 10+ and only 1 person serving, other staff nearby seemed uninterested in helping out. Particularly the manages who would be sitting smoking or drinking nearby but would not step in. At the lobby bar one evening there were at least 15 people waiting to be served, 1 guy trying his best behind the bar, lots of cocktails being ordered so it took a while and an idiotic manager standing behind him Telling him to serve that person next, and get More ice and collect glasses, while we all waited, near 15 mins to get a drink and guess what, no Wine. And secondly, again, more often they not we found the toilets around the resort had no water or toilet paper and were often queues to get In. We have stayed at 3 resorts in Turkey over the past 3 Years all of them all inclusive and in October and Like with everything, you can always find pluses and negatives. Nice clean resort grounds with a great beach and quite a few daytime activities if you want it. Nice pool and great beach, some pebbles and sand but gentle and calm so great for kids. Good snorkelling off the beach. Also quite a small resort. Night time entertainment was hit and miss, food was Good. Staff 50/50, have to say the girls were Way more polite then the guys. Rooms very good and cleaners were excellent. Been to worse and better. Sunsets at the beach bar were incredibly beautiful to watch even without wine!

A beautiful resort with amazing facilities, very clean, extremely friendly staff, but atrocious restaurants- the worst I’ve ever been too, where the food is repeated day after day and in the breakfast buffet I hesitate to say the food is from previous days. Even if it were it isn’t dressed to appear fresh. The kitchen of the 2 half board guests needs a 100% revamp.

Extremely attentive, super supportive and friendly staff, magical sun rises, crystal clear aquarium like sea, fresh fish by the water, very classy band with Seran Bilgi, secret spot like no where else in Bodrum

My husband and I visited HapiMag and had a wonderful experience. The accommodations were incredible. The sea and deck were so calming and beautiful. The food was good and plentiful; and the wait staff, especially Pelin, Ceren, and İpek were amazing. They even helped me practice my Turkish and were so lovely. Thank you for an outstanding experience!!
