Petunya Beach Resort

I stayed in Petunya Hotel with my family in September and enjoyed every second of our stay there.Staff is extremely helpful and couldn't do more,food was amazing ,good location.Overall an amazing experience .Thank you all and highly recommended

Don't be fooled by the photos! The reality is very different from what is shown in the pictures. The hotel facilities are neglected and in need of serious maintenance. The service was poor, the food was very repetitive, and the rooms were not cleaned regularly. Overall, my stay was disappointing. The hotel did not meet my expectations, and I would not recommend it. I advise future guests not to rely solely on the photos and to carefully research the hotel before making a reservation.

I chose this hotel as it was promoted as being almost on the beach , however, the beach was a horrible, dirty shingle, full of litter and cigarette butts, and lots of sunbeds and parasols bunched together. Awful! When you come out of the hotel at the back there are a few supermarkets and restaurants, the restaurants were expensive we paid £110 for 2 adults a cheap bottle of wine, and a starter and main course. The room was probably the best thing about the hotel , clean and modern, you have to make sure you put the green light on every day if you want the cleaner to visit. You have to put your dirty towels in the shower if you want clean ones. The cleaners did the bare minimum and throughout our 10 day stay our room became dirty , the towels were just chucked under our sink , some days we only had small hand towels, on the last day our room was cleaned to a high standard and the cleaners were asking us if the room was ok ( I assume it was our last day, they were trying to get a tip) The food, bland, repetitive, basic, visually didn’t look good. I’ve travelled lots, this was probably the worst hotel I’ve been to regarding the food! The staff give the impression they are doing you a huge favour by serving you, no “ good morning “ or smiles, they looked dirty, tired, and generally fed up! I shall never return to this hotel, the second big pool was dirty, the children’s pool had green algae around the walls. The 2 ( I’ll use this term loosely) life guards did absolutely nothing, they sat using their phones and chatting up the girls and talking to staff! If there was ever a problem in the pool, these guys would never be aware. There are palm trees around the pool that drop little berries they have a thorn that give you a horrendous sting, I learned the hard way! I saved hard to fund this holiday and was gutted how rubbish it was. And don’t waste your money on the quad bikes/ buggies, you spend an hour going around and around in the woods, so boring and you get absolutely filthy! I won’t even describe the toilets in the public areas 🤢🤢 The entertainment is over quickly in the evenings, the standard isn’t great, there was a dance troop, acrobatics, a fire thrower and karaoke.

Lovely hotel good location right on beach rooms comfy plenty of choice at meal times snack bar the best pizza is delicious all staff go above and beyond very friendly and helpful pools are good especially for children we had a nice relaxing 10 night stay will definitely be back thank you so much see you next year

We really liked the hotel. We will be back not next year but the year after. Thank you for everything.
