Selectum Colours Bodrum

This was our third visit to selectum and wow still as good. Everything was still as we expected and since this visit 5 different younger couples and families have booked and are there now or going again on 2nd visits because of my original experience. They have all loved it. Beautiful views excellent food choices, great fun pool and beach scene cannot fault this hotel. We try to compare other places nearby but really can't match it . Keep it up Selectum.

I love this hotel and have been hear twice but on this occasion the customer relations team was shocking I was offered a additional al a carte booking which wasn't done when I requested then I spoke to someone called kenan who assured me he would do it we arrived at the restaurant he had booked the wrong one and would not back and said it was our fault for saying the wrong one , I know what was discussed. Then they started messaging my grandson trying to explain that it was our fault

Been here for 3 days and cant fault the hotel at all, location is perfect and private beach lovely, rooms are all clean, food is good, nice to try a variety of different food, pool is nice and big and havent had to fight for a sun bed in the morning, bar either end of the pool, has everything if travelling with children from kids club to games room. Met Sadiye from customer relations and is very nice and easy to speak too and helpful, our room is located minutes from the private beach and the same for the main pool and main restaurant, price of holiday was reasonable and is definitely worth the money. Some hotels can be really noisy but when in room at night cant hear much noise and the hotel has a friendly atmosphere.

We stayed in the hotel 2 weeks, and had a very good time. Hotel is right by the sea and has a private beach, we swam and snorkelled every day. Food was always amazing and such a wide variety. Many bars with a range of free drinks and free cocktails, everything you could want. Guest Relations Sadiye was very helpful and very friendly.

Just returned from 10 days at this Selectum hotel, do many good things to say about this hotel, but also some not so good. The hotel is in the resort of Gumbet, just outside Bodrum itself. Easy accessibility to Bodrum old town and marina. The hotel itself, exceptionally clean, plenty of staff on hand and ample sunbeds on the beach and around the pool. Must give a 5 star rating to the food. Such choice, quality was excellent, well cooked and displayed beautifully. Be aware though, that when it advises not great for the less abled in walking, that is no lie. This hotel being set into the hillside, there are steps, and more steps, and more steps. Lifts have occasion to be out of order at times. Staff are plentiful and definitely quick in clearing your table, however, too quickly at times. If leaving full drinks on the table to indicate you're meal is not completed and you are going to get your dessert, they will often clear these away and seat other people at the table before you get back, so ensure at least one person in your party remains at the table. The rooms are kept very clean, towels changed every day, but, the walls are exceptionally thin. Not really want to listen to my neighbours conversations, especially when they return to their room very late in the evening. I didn't get a lot of sleep at this hotel. The main reason for only giving this hotel a 3 star rating, is the entertainment. 3 nights a week, they hold a Hollywood/Paparazzi/Masquerade night. These are in effect, simply an alternative name for an Ibiza style rave night. A DJ plays non-stop extremely loud thumping music. If you want to sleep before 11pm on these nights, just don't even bother. 1 night is a film night, personally I don 't think 'Ballerina' (look it up) is a family orientated film for which young children should be privy to watch. Families tend to allow their children stay up later on holiday, and why not, they're on holiday!, so something more family orientated should be showing. Would I go back to this hotel? For the cleanliness/food etc. I would like to say yes, but as I was looking for a nice restful holiday including a little entertainment in the evenings, they I have to say no! The parasailing, for the price, is a must though!
