Xanadu Island

The hotel is still very good. Great staff and so friendly, great food wonderful views and pools. The grounds are kept very clean. Guest relations were very helpful. Great vibe this year with lovely people and guests There were a few things that were a little disappointing. We first came in 2013 with the hotel being 3 years old. It is now starting to show wear and tear in places. Examples of this would be the hotel rooms have not changed since the hotel opened and are starting to look tired, The furniture is the same as it was 13 years ago. They have also taken beers and miniatures out of the mini bar. When we first arrived we had no bath robes although they were provided later in the holiday by guest relations. Thank you Polina :) Entrance /reception lobby also looking like it needs a face lift and the games room was very run down and the bowling alley wasn’t in operation in early October. In the Xanadu snack bar there were a few buckets out where the were leaks in the roof and old dead wasps nests not disposed of. Not the sort thing you want to really see in a hotel that is supposed to be one of the best in Bodrum. The kid’s club is pretty poor and not a lot for them to do. Staff were so friendly and really try their best. I do wonder if the hotel may be better suited to adults only as apart from sun bathe, eat and drink there is not very much going on and some guests from other European countries did seem rather irritated by the presence of children. We also had trouble using the free laundry service as we were told it is now chargeable. However as we were repeat guests it was provided in the end. Thanks to Eren and Dillick for assisting us. Just would have been nice to know in the beginning. We heard the hotel will be making an effort to refurbish over the next 3 years. We hope this is the case as we were hoping to bring guests next year for my wife’s 40th birthday celebration. There are so many hotels in both Antalya and Bodrum to chose from and so it would be shame if ended up needing to book elsewhere but if the hotel does not up its game we may need to unfortunately.

Just had a brilliant week at Xanadu.Our room in a Sunset suite as usual was lovely.Food was excellent.Staff were superb and the buffet restaurant without Nesligul Akin and Fatma just wouldn,t be the same. They are so lovely,efficient and helpful and the restaurant will not be the same if ever they leave. Also a special mention for Diyar in the Archipelago who again is so efficient and helpful as was his assistant whose name I didn't get unfortunately. If there was one downside it was that we weren't able to keep our room longer than 12.00 on our last day as the hotel was full.We always seem to have a late flight and weren't getting picked up until 19.15.However we were able to get changed and showered in the spa so that helped.(Ian and Ingrid ).We will no doubt be back and hopefully soon.

A big thank you to the whole Xanadu Island team. We had a wonderful week and we’ll definitely be back. The hotel is very clean and spacious. There are plenty of activities – SUP yoga, Zumba (our instructor Ram was brilliant) and Pilates. The food is delicious and varied, and the sea and mountain views are stunning.

We had a wonderful stay at xanadu with my daughter ! Room was amazing , service and animation by ram as well ! Definitely recommand !!

A stay we will never forget Our rooms were wonderful, and waking up to such a beautiful view felt like a gift every morning. The beaches were absolutely lovely, the kind of place where you instantly relax and feel at peace. The staff were truly amazing, so kind and welcoming that we felt like part of the family. A heartfelt thank you to Ram from the animation team, who brought so much joy, laughter and energy to our days. We left with happy hearts and can't wait to come back! ❤️
