Xanadu Island

Just a beautifully serene experience from start to finish — a true island paradise. We walked around the island every day, taking in the stunning views of the sea and neighbouring Greek islands, with picturesque sunrises and sunsets that never got old. The sea was surprisingly warm for October and so clear you could see the fish beneath you. The hotel staff showed genuine hospitality — always there when needed, yet perfectly discreet. The food options were extensive, and we were always well catered for. The drinks were premium and varied, and the QR code system was a clever, modern touch. A massive shout-out to the kids’ club, the restaurant team, the omelette makers, the cleaners , all the staff! This felt like a step above a typical all-inclusive, and I truly hope to be back in the not-too-distant future.

This was our third visit. So first of all I just want to get the one negative out of the way. As English people who work in hospitality we do try to go out of our way to be polite and respectful to all the staff. Unfortunately we had a bad experience in the Rosebud Bar with one of the guest relations staff. We were sitting in a sofa area where some of the other guests in the hotel also wanted to sit. My father in law had one barefoot up on one of the sofas to stop my one year on old son from falling off. These guests decided to complain to the guest relations officer about this. The guest relations officer instead of using a bit of discretion and assessing the situation on its’ merits, gave my father in law a telling off. We found this quite offensive as we were well dressed and being very respectful to all the staff and were not disrespecting the property of the hotel in any way. Whilst we appreciate that she was just doing her job and this was a difficult situation, just taking the side of the other guests over something so minor/petty and ruining our evening in the process is just not acceptable. Maybe in future take a bit more time in reacting to feedback and consider both sides of the argument before acting upon it rather than just having knee jerk reaction. Having said all this we found that the guest relations watts app service was very good. We also did very much appreciate our tour of Ruby Villa and the Royal Suite and will definitely think about booking when we return. Overall, it has to be said that the service was absolutely top notch. All the staff are wonderful and are very well trained. The food was much improved from our last visit. The two snack bars and two A La Carte restaurants were all excellent. Ramazan from the Xanadu Bar and Aggi from the small pool bar were great as were all the staff in the Rosebud bar. The buffet staff were also very well trained and were constantly being overseen by managers and supervisors. The hotel has really stepped up its’ game in these areas. Our room was lovely as were the sea views. The emergency baby kit and my son having his own room key card was a lovely touch. We also now have high class membership cards which will encourage us to book again. The staff were also fantastic in helping us sterilise baby bottles. We were very grateful for this. Finally we must not forget to mention the free laundry service that gave an added bonus of returning home with a lot clean clothes.

What a beautiful place we have stayed here 16 times the service is fantastic the food is amazing especially the a la carte restaurants for that personal touch.The views around the Hotel are both peaceful are calming there are jetty’s that extend out into the ocean for that extra peace and quiet and where ever you are you can just scan the barcode and order whatever you require and it is delivered to you. The staff are amazing always happy to help and smiling.we always leave the island feeling like we have had a amazing rest oh and if that’s not enough they even do you washing and pressing so when you get home you have minimal washing to do.we will be return next year for or 17th stay.

We had a great time at this hotel and would highly recommend a visit to anyone. The island concept works really well. Guests are checked in and out at the gatehouse so you feel really secure about leaving belongings as you move between the well-appointed outdoor areas. The walkway that sits between the buildings and the shoreline is really great for walking (I must have covered over 50 one-kilometre laps !! during the week). Dining options were really enticing, the colourful and expansive buffet was a real treat every day, the colour and textures of the food on display was matched by the tasting experience. I'd recommend the Italian restaurant for an even more relaxing dining experience. It's often a cliché to say the staff were great, but here they really were. It was good to see so many of the leadership team in and around the restaurant areas, subtly ensuring standards were where they should be, book with absolute confidence.

Me and my partner have just returned from this amazing place We stayed for a week in a Courtyard Suite in the main building, room was spacious and clean with everything we needed, hotel is kept so clean, all the staff are friendly and can’t do enough for you, shout out too Murat, Dani and Serhat from the beach bar that kept the drinks coming to our sunbeds on the beach, also the nice Indonesian girls at the buffet restaurant that served us , food is good, plenty of choice, especially the barbecue choices, we visited the Mexican alacarte once which was very good, drinks are great liked that you actually got branded choice instead of local variety’s, over all we had a great relaxing stay and would highly recommend
