Liberty Hotels Lykia Family

We travelled here in October 2026 a family of four with kids 10 and 6 This hotel has the potential to be great but falls short on a few points: Pros Location and scenery are amazing Extensive resort with lots of places to keep the kids entertained Lovely beach and water but beach shoes advised Rooms nice and modern Staff are friendly and attentive Drinks are good ( not the best selection we have seen but we were happy and cocktails are good) Kids club had lots of activities and our youngest was keen to go Evening entertainment was varied and generally good Cons The Buffett was very large and difficult to navigate- not ideal when you have younger kids Food wasn’t always warm There was a lack of à la carte lunch options - only one which was adults only in a family resort, really makes no sense Lunch snack bar at water park was basic with same options every day and being there in October this was our our main option with it being near the heated pool - not a luxury experience À la carte restaurants were disappointing on the whole - the only ones we enjoyed were Gaia ( which was closed part way through our stay) and the Asian. We had a couple of days of bad weather (not the hotels fault) but this hotel has very limited indoor spaces and could have planned better for the rain. It’s really was chaotic in the restaurant- they should have opened more of the indoor spaces to deal with this. Overall a good hotel in a really lovely location but we probably wouldn’t return.

The hotel is huge but very well designed for all the family, no one is going bored here - 17 tennis courts, 2 paddle courts, a big water park, 2 football pitches, 2 volleyball courts, water sports, 4 swimming pools, various shops, coffee shop, patisserie, 6 restaurants, archery, golf, spa, games centre, nightclub, great evening entertainment etc free ice creams kids Rooms are great, services very well stocked and cleaned. Friendly staff throughout the resort. Football was excellent - the football coach gets plaudits, he runs this all very well for all ages. Location is great in terms of lovely, big beach and see through sea, but there is nothing in walking distance (other than along a road) outside of the resort and close by. Short taxi rides required. Good value for money. One disappointment is the front office / reception :- 1) 20 minutes to check in (at midnight when kids are tired) as they try to charge us more money by saying although we put kids ages on the booking via booking.com, kids aged over 12 are considered adults (so for us they were saying we should have booked for 4 adults and 1 child). I was really disappointed at this - trying to see if they could charge more money, despite us being able to show the ages entered on the booking confirmation correspondence whilst keeping the whole family from their beds after travelling. 2) Front office then offered us free à la carte meal on day 5, only the restaurant was closed on that night and fully booked already for our last night. 3) 30 minutes for check out. After arranging through the front office a lift for the luggage to reception, we waited 15 minutes and then made the 10 minute walk with all our luggage ourselves. At reception, I queued for 5 minutes, only to find at the front of the queue that the receptionist accepted someone else in front of me as they just walked up and passed their room cards over. When the receptionist then came to me, there was no “how was your stay”, “thank you for staying with us”, it was word for word “you’re all done, leave your bags there”. The front office/reception team for me lets the whole resort down in experience.

The Liberty Lykia in Turkey is undoubtedly a beautiful hotel, boasting stunning views and lovely amenities. However, the spa experience was nothing short of a complete disappointment and left us feeling thoroughly ripped off. Upon visiting the spa, we were presented with an overpriced 'menu' of treatments, clearly designed to exploit British tourists. We couldn't believe our eyes when we saw the price for a mere 50-minute massage at a staggering £160! To make matters worse, they tried to push a package deal and even suggested we treat our 3-year-old granddaughter to a chocolate foam treatment for £100. It felt like they were attempting to milk us for every pound possible without regard for value. Fortunately, we found a fantastic spa just five minutes away by taxi, where we enjoyed amazing treatments that restored our faith in the spa experience. One hour of reflexology and a deep sports massage for just £130 was worth every penny, and we left feeling rejuvenated. The contrast between the Liberty Lykia spa and the nearby one was astounding. Save your money and avoid the hotel spa—it’s simply not worth the exorbitant prices!

The real stars of this beautiful resort are the incredible staff—so friendly, welcoming, attentive, and always going ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure every need was taken care of. We truly felt like VIPs! ❤️ And let's talk about ALL-INCLUSIVE… when I say ALL-INCLUSIVE, I mean ALLLLLL-INCLUSIVE! 😜🍹 Amazing food, endless drinks, beautiful surroundings, and pure relaxation! Everything was simply fantastic! If you're looking for paradise with exceptional hospitality, this is THE place! Huge thanks to the entire team! 10/10! We'd return in a heartbeat! 🌟🙌

We had a wonderfully enjoyable vacation. The hotel’s animation team—the smiling faces of the property—are such pleasant and polite people; they are present all around the resort throughout the day, always full of energy and wearing bright smiles—truly wonderful individuals. The hotel’s natural setting and design are exceptionally well-executed, creating a unique atmosphere that transports you to another world. We will never grow tired of coming here. The food, the drinks, and, most importantly, the staff are the hotel’s greatest assets. Thank you, animation team!
