Marmaris Bay Resort

Great holiday, very relaxing. Room was really nice with a fabulous view. Food amazing and such a great choice. We ate mostly in the Marina restaurant and were extremely well looked after by Caner, he was excellent!

This was my second time staying at Marmaris Bay Resort, and honestly, it just keeps getting better and better! From the moment me and my sisters arrived, we had such an amazing experience, and I can’t thank the whole team enough for making our holiday so special and unforgettable. A huge thank you to the management, who clearly work incredibly hard to make sure every guest is happy and well looked after. You can really feel the effort that goes into making this resort such a welcoming and enjoyable place. The food was absolutely delicious — succulent, fresh and with so much choice. You certainly will never go hungry here! From breakfast, to the snack bar, lunch, the beach bar and then dinner, there is always something available. The variety was fantastic, and we enjoyed every meal. The staff were absolutely brilliant. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, always smiling and more than happy to help whenever we needed anything. The cleanliness throughout the resort was also excellent, with the housekeeping team doing a fantastic job. The evening entertainment was another highlight. Every night brought something different, which kept everything exciting. We especially loved the Turkish Night, salsa, karaoke and the live singer nights. There was such a lovely atmosphere every evening. A very special thank you to Ekrem and Bayram from the entertainment team. They were absolutely superb — so polite, friendly and attentive to all the guests. They really went above and beyond to make sure everyone was having a great time. Also to The waters Ali, Seljuk, Huseyni, emran …and all other ( sorry for the spelling!) We also loved how easy it was to get into Marmaris town. During the daytime, we went into town on two occasions for shopping, using the taxi boat directly from the hotel pier. It was such a fantastic and convenient way to travel — the boat takes you straight into town, only around two minutes from the bars, restaurants and bazaar. The return journey was just €15 per person, which we thought was excellent value and made going into town so easy and enjoyable. We also decided to take advantage of the option to go into Marmaris town after the evening entertainment. The hotel provides a return bus service for €15, including a drink, which was fantastic. Ekrem took great care of us when we went to the disco, and we honestly had some of the best nights ever! Another fantastic part of the resort is the water sports. We tried a few of them during our stay and had so much fun! It was brilliant to have activities right there at the resort and added even more excitement to our holiday. Overall, we had an amazing holiday and an unforgettable stay. Marmaris Bay Resort has everything you could want — beautiful surroundings, fantastic food, wonderful staff, great entertainment, exciting activities and a truly lovely atmosphere. Thank you so much to everyone at Marmaris Bay Resort for making our stay so special. 😍 This was my second visit, and it was even better than the first. We have made some wonderful memories and had some of the best nights ever. Looking forward to seeing you all again next time! 🇹🇷❤️🌴 Marmaris Bay Resort — thank you for an unforgettable holiday! 🙏

Marmaris Bay Resort Now we’ve returned home from spending a week in the resort, it’s time for a little reflection with leaving a review. A private transfer took approx 90 mins, when we arrived at the resort, just after lunch check in was smooth & swift & a buggy was available to take us to room 329. Room was very clean upon arrival & everything was what one would expect, however no iron or ironing board, which to be fair wasn’t a biggie as we brought our own travel iron anyway. Resort can feel a little overwhelming due to how it’s laid out, there are many bars & places to chill out by the water, getting a subbed wasn’t an issue, towel service, was in the main on time, cushions were available on the paved patio side of the water, we felt you got more sun there earlier & was quieter there. Food, for us was really good, not outstanding but really good, would recommend the à la carte Turkish option above the restaurant, sit away from the ledge though although you may get bothered by friendly felines 😻, evening entertainment was also really good, the entertainments team were quite good at getting a read on you, if you didn’t want to involve yourselves they left it at that. In the main a great weekend away, however.. I think as the resort is quite spaced out, it’s hard for staff there to keep the place clean overall, chatting to regular visitors we were made aware that the resort has changed hands, it used to be a Tui resort, but for some reason they’ve dropped it. Glasses were left for at least a couple of days here & there along with litter also scattered about the place which attracted large wasp like flies, the “mess” wasn’t exactly unsightly but disappointing to see, however the beach was patrolled for a daily clean, sometimes twice a day which was good to see, also trying to find a clean plate at dinner was also an effort. Tips: Take insect repellent, useful not to get bothered by flies etc when you eat at the restaurant. Take money for tips for table service, Cenghis (think that was his name) really looked after us - a credit to the hotel, seemed to be happy with 200TL every other visit when he brought us drink us & kept an eye on us to keep the drinks flowing - massive thanks. Feel for the chap serving the omelettes though, pleasant enough chap but always looked as he had the world on his shoulders. On the whole a decent week, would we visit again?, certainly.. would recommend a visit to Marmaris on the taxi boat, 15e per person return, some good restaurants, around 30TL per head with drinks.
