Extremely disappointing experience – would not recommend We arrived at Prime Beach Hotel expecting a relaxing all-inclusive holiday, but unfortunately our experience was absolutely awful from the moment we arrived. Our first room was filthy and clearly hadn’t been cleaned to an acceptable standard. We were moved to another room, only to find that the second room was also dirty. The beds were small and the overall standard of the accommodation was nowhere near what we expected. We raised our concerns and provided photographic evidence, hoping the hotel would take responsibility and put things right. Instead of dealing with our complaints professionally, the situation escalated. We were accused of deliberately planting hairs in the room and were threatened with the police. To be treated this way as paying guests was completely unacceptable. We felt intimidated, uncomfortable and unwelcome. What should have been a lovely birthday holiday turned into a stressful and upsetting experience. We spent much of our time arguing with staff and trying to get someone to take our concerns seriously instead of enjoying our holiday. We appreciate that no hotel is perfect and that things can occasionally go wrong. However, the cleanliness of 5 rooms we saw and the way our complaints were handled were simply unacceptable. We came here to relax, enjoy the all-inclusive facilities and make some lovely memories. Instead, we have been left deeply disappointed and wanting to go home early. We left after our first day! Sadly, we would not recommend Prime Beach Hotel, and we would not return. Disgusting hotel.

The hotel is set in beautiful scenic surroundings, breathtaking views that make you feel calm and relaxed. 5 star quality with stunning decorative features, with lighting that sets off the tone of the hotel. The hotel is immaculate, cleanliness 100% staff are constantly making sure you are comfortable they are attentive to your every need. There is a spa, indoor and outdoor pools and the hotel has its own beach. Staff are friendly, polite and cannot do enough for you, they have a welcoming presence and clearly make every effort to talk to you. Your drinks are never empty and if you want to find something to do outside they can always recommend place to go and activities to do. There are travel reps available everyday and again so helpful and nothing is ever a problem. The entertainment staff are just amazing they make our days and nights here, friendly funny and just enhance the atmosphere. They make you feel part of the hotel community We had been out for our evening meal we returned to our room and our balcony window had a crack in it. I telephoned reception and within 5 minutes they were over and immediately changed our room, helped us move it was quick and efficient. We have an 11 year old and the security in the hotel is outstanding, I can let my child walk round in the knowledge of feeling safe and he feels safe. We have been here twice this year and I cannot fault it at all. Definitely the best hotel in Marmaris.

A bit of a mixed bag review. On the whole, its a lovely hotel and the food was really good from what I've experienced at previous All Inclusive hotels, was never hungry once. I couldn't fault the food, something for everyone. Maybe I'll get the more negative comments out the way first. The room, very outdated and could benefit from a renovation. There are not many plug sockets but one is where the headboard area is which I felt was quite dangerous really but also a pain as if you moved in bed, you kept turning lights on, not an ideal place to put electrical sockets. In the end, we just used the one socket which was on the wall. The shower door kept coming off the rails every time I had a shower so kept having to put them back on. Not really a problem. They were very good and super quick at bringing up more blankets, filling the shower gel and we had a downlighter out which was over the wardrobe where the safe was and I couldn't see so the electrician came immediately and fixed it. The fridge wasn't particularly cold, and the mini bar was not replenished once while we were there. There were paper cups for the tea/coffee and no milk cartons so had to just drink black tea which I wouldn't expect from a 5* hotel...the * rating is always different in Turkey to UK anyway. That's it for the room really, it is quite small but I don't spend much time in my hotel room. We did notice favouritism between some guests...we kept going getting everything ourselves but towards the end of the week, we noticed some guests were getting a bit of preferential treatment and getting waited on. I don't expect this really to be fair and happy to get my own stuff but it was quite noticeable. There were little nit picky bits which annoyed me but to be fair, it wasn't any fault of the hotel, mainly other guests. They can't vet every person that goes there. The nicer parts though, hotel and the pink lighting at night is right up my street, I loved all that. The service and staff in the main restaurant are very good, friendly and very efficient. I only went in the pool once as it was very cold but the day we did go to the pool, I don't think it was particularly busy so had no trouble in getting a sunbed. Even on the busier days I don't think you'd have any trouble as there were always free sunbeds at the back which didn't really get the sun that much but that suits me as I'm far from a sun worshipper lol. My favourite place to hang out was the coffee shop. Lovely staff in there too. The food in the snack bars was very nice too, plentiful. Ice cream lush, jacket potatoes were nice. The beach is very narrow and we would rather go down to Icmeler and get a good spot and just pay for drinks. I've been coming to Marmaris and Icmeler now for 21 years and it was my first time here at Prime Beach. Would I go again....probably not but I certainly wouldn't deter anybody else from going. I think there's something for everyone here but I just prefer something a bit smaller and more personal where you're not just a face lost in a crowd. Overall, my feelings are positive and I think the main comments would be the rooms if anything. I'm not into all the entertainment round the pool either but honestly, compared to some other places I've been, it doesn't last that long and not in your face. Evening entertainment I thought was good from what I did see. Overall, I did enjoy my holiday but just a few bits let it down but I appreciate its a very big place and things take time....no doubt they will get round to all these things.
