We had a really lovely stay at the hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The staff were all incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, which made us feel very comfortable from the moment we arrived. The hotel itself was clean, well maintained and had a great atmosphere. We particularly enjoyed relaxing around the pool and making the most of the facilities. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and couldn’t really fault it. It’s a great place to stay, and we would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area. We’d happily come back again!

have stayed at many hotels, but what truly makes a property special is not only the facilities or the location, it is the people. At Sundia Hotel, I was genuinely impressed by the team. Everyone was incredibly friendly, humble, attentive and most importantly, their smiles felt completely genuine. As a guest, these are the details that matter the most. You can immediately feel when hospitality comes from the heart and that is exactly what I experienced here. I would sincerely like to congratulate the owner of the hotel and the General Manager (I also had the pleasure of meeting the General Manager Mr. Ahmet Okur and I can honestly say that he is the person behind this wonderful atmosphere. His leadership is clearly reflected in the team’s attitude, genuine smiles and the warm hospitality throughout the hotel) for creating such a warm, positive and genuinely welcoming atmosphere. Building a team like this is not easy, and it clearly reflects strong leadership and a great hospitality culture. Sundia hotel was my first choice for this holiday and I can confidently say that it will now be my first choice for every future holiday as well. Thank you to the entire team for making my stay so memorable. I will definitely be coming back! ‼️

Firstly I would rate this hotel as a 3 star not 4. We arrived quite late at the resort, check in was quick and easy we were given an attic room, these rooms are not renovated and are very old and on to access the balcony you have a tiny door you need to duck down through and on top of that the curtains do not open so you have to fight your way through the curtains as well. As we were staying for 2 weeks I went down to reception to request a room change as not having natural light and ducking down would have drove us insane. I was told they were fully booked and to go back the next day I refused as I imagine I would have been told the same the next day. We were then allocated another room within a couple of hours the new room had a renovated bathroom and although the room itself was spacious and practicable they urgently need updating. The safes are not attached to anything and can easily be picked up and moved, if you want to use them you need to request a key from reception they are not offered at check in. The balconies are horrendous, they are a little rusty cage that contain 2 small shabby patio chairs and small table they do not accommodate 2 people comfortably. There are 2 tiny poles for drying your bathing costumes and nowhere to dry towels apart from the back of the chairs or hung over the rusty cage that has vines growing over. There are only a couple of rooms that do not have these kind of balconies. The food is hit and miss, I could always find something as I am not a fussy eater but my hubby is and he basically lived on the chicken nuggets they put out for the children. We were looking forward to the Turkish night themed buffet hoping there would be donner kebabs available but there was only cold chicken meat put out. Breakfast was the biggest downside for me as I understand I am in Turkey but I enjoy some scrambled egg and this was only available with some sort of sausage meat in, never any hash browns, mushrooms or cooked tomatoes available. The toaster does not brown the bread at all no matter how many times you put it through and it was on high. The drinks were quite good and there are fridges with water cartons available. Entertainment throughout the day is water polo twice a day, darts twice a day, aqua gym once a day and sometimes you were offered yoga in the mornings the duration of these are 15-20 mins. On a Sunday it is the pool party only 3.30-4.30. Evening entertainment consists of a mini disco starting at 9pm then followed by either an act, karaoke, or live band (Turkish) and they have a Cappadocia night and throw in bingo once a week at £10 per strip. These take place 9.30ish to 10.30. What we did notice was that they only ask where you are from so they can gage where most audience interaction will come from for the non act nights and as the majority of guests are from Turkey the night is tailored to these guests. Also if you are there two weeks don’t think you can miss seeing something one week and catch the next as they change the programmes each week. No complaints about the staff they are accommodating if you ask for something. There was only 1 staff member that ever asked if we would like a drink with our dinner her name was Helen she was lovely otherwise we would get our own table water and drinks. I would not return to this hotel as an important highlight for me is to be able to have a morning coffee on a balcony and a drink in the evening before heading out and it just felt dirty, too small to accommodate two adults and uncomfortable. I also think they need to cater for all nationalities visiting the hotel not just the Turkish people. Be aware that there is a group on Facebook called Friends of sundia Suncity which is a private group which I joined prior to booking this hotel to see what people were saying and it was all really positive. I posted a review similar to the one above and within 10 minutes I was removed from the group and blocked, now I know why there was so many positive reviews
