Sundia by Liberty Suncity

Spent two weeks at this lovely hotel. Food was fair for all inclusive, omelettes to order and plenty of choice. We felt the choice was not so big during our second week. The hotel was preparing to close and things were not being replaced we noticed. The comfort of the room was fine, large double bed, with plenty of pillows and a single, a convertible sofa. Room and bathroom had had a recent renovation. Good shower and shower gel, shampoo and conditioner all provided. Fresh towels daily and a mini fridge refilled daily. I would have liked a full length mirror and a larger tv ( it was tiny and we didn’t actually use it, but some would have been disappointed). Otherwise we liked the free Wi-Fi, pool towels and free safe. We did experience some flooding in our room, it certainly knows how to rain in Turkey! But the staff soon cleared up. We did notice that the hotel isn’t geared for rain as most of the restaurant and bars are open air. Worth considering if you are going later in the season. There was a lovely pool party on the Sunday and a beer festival with barbecue etc and darts etc during the day. A nice quiet adults only pool ( and a small indoor pool). The evening entertainment was ok for a mid size hotel. We would happily return to Sun City ( many do!).

Nice gardens. Food and room ok. Problem is that we booked this hotel with the promise of a kids club that offered endless fun including craft, games etc. Reality is that the kids club is closed for the UK half term dates! When going to the kids club we were told our children should bring a phone to look at as there is no activities available! When I complained to the hotel guest relations manager she argued that lots of activities were happening and marched me down to the club to find a room where fun goes to die. Everything boxed up and packed away. She then argued in Turkish with the young lady in the room and then produced a colouring sheet fit for a 2 year-old and said "there is craft activity". So when the torrential rain came for the whole of our second week we were stuck in our room with nothing to do. Seriously do not come here with children in October. You will regret it.

We would definitely stay again it was a splendid experience food was amazing with the expertise of the chefs 👨‍🍳 culinary skills our room was delightful with a balcony that captured a wonderful vibe of the Sundia experience & the cleanliness was very impressive all together i have nothing negative to say only positive i can't wait to come back 😀

Before we stayed at the hotel, many of the reviews mentioned concerns of cleanliness. I had stayed in the liberty hotel Antalya and had a wonderful experience. Based on that I booked the Liberty Suncity hotel for my family, and boy was I wrong. I have 2 children both 7 and 3 and we were given a top floor room in a block with no stairs. My son fell on the slippery stairs everyday, multiple times and this is no exaggeration! We were offered a swap in a smaller room on the ground floor but 2 days later. Since the rooms are already small we refused this. The room was cleaned once in our time here and when I say cleaned, it was done with eye closed. The bed sheets were covered in sand for 5 nights as they never got changed. Sleeping was so uncomfortable because the pillows are like sleeping on blocks! The grounds and restaurants were dirty. Everything is sticky and smily especially the indoor restaurant. Your feet literally stick to the floor. The food was good and staff were helpful although they are over worked. First time in Suncity hotel and it will be my last

This hotel was extremely disappointing and, without doubt, the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. From the condition of the room to the poor standards of cleanliness, lack of hospitality and serious safety concerns, the whole experience was appalling. The room was tired, damp and furnished with dirty, worn-out furniture. The balcony was equally disappointing, overlooking a scruffy, unattractive wall. The entire complex was dirty and poorly maintained, with very little attention to basic standards. The staff were not welcoming at all, and there was a distinct lack of management presence. Safety was a major concern. The lighting along the pathways and stairways was extremely poor, and the slopes alongside the steps around the grounds were far too steep and dangerously slippery when wet. We witnessed several people fall, which was genuinely concerning. The complex is clearly unsuitable for anyone with mobility difficulties. The buffet restaurant was dreadful. The food was cold, staff made little or no effort to interact with guests, and dirty plates were left piling up on tables. The chair covers were disgustingly dirty and stained, creating an unpleasant dining environment. There was very little labelling of the dishes, making it extremely difficult for anyone with food allergies to identify what they could safely eat. The scratched and chipped plastic drinking glasses were another example of the appalling standards of hygiene. Even the luggage storage arrangements were concerning. The area was accessible to anyone at any time, with no apparent security measures in place to protect guests' belongings. Overall, this hotel falls well below any acceptable standard. The lack of cleanliness, poor maintenance, unwelcoming staff, terrible dining experience and potentially dangerous conditions made our stay thoroughly unpleasant. I genuinely cannot think of a single positive thing to say about this hotel. I would not recommend it to anyone and would strongly advise others to look elsewhere. A hotel should provide a clean, safe and welcoming environment, and this one failed on every count. We certainly would never stay here again
