TUI MAGIC LIFE Sarigerme

Intro I stayed here with my girlfriend for my birthday and as an early anniversary present. The hotel really does have everything you need, plus some unique aqua activities you won’t find at many other resorts. It’s a fantastic place overall, though a few small details stop it from being the ultimate getaway. But nothing too big you wouldn’t want to come back over and over again --- Onsite Market: The onsite market offers crisps, chargers and all your other needs. He’s a lovely man and helped us out massively while we were at the hotel, my iPhone 12 charger broke. He’s really polite and prices are generally very good. We bought two magnets and a postcard and a ceramic bowl for £12 and a new iPhone charger for £12 too which we thought was a very fair price. Breakfast Breakfast is fine, but if you’re English (or from anywhere that enjoys a hot breakfast with bacon and sausages), you’ll miss it here. Due to religious reasons, pork isn’t served — understandable, but still a shame. Alternatives are limited; the sausages offered aren’t quite the same, and there are no proper substitutes. On the plus side, if you’re into healthy eating, this is paradise: endless fruit, yoghurts, cereals, and other lighter options. Coffee is available, but iced coffee lovers beware — the staff serve cold milk with syrup rather than a proper iced latte. You can add espresso shots yourself, but it’s not quite the same. There is a coffee house but that opens at 4 pm which does do proper iced coffees so not sure why the other bars can’t. --- Lunch Lunch is the highlight. Freshly barbecued meats, Turkish-style focaccia, salads, chips, onion rings, mashed potatoes — the variety is excellent. Everything is cooked beautifully and fresh. In fact it’s cooked right in front of you, and it’s easy to eat well without overindulging. Huge credit to the chefs for consistently high quality. --- Dinner Dinner is nearly as good as lunch, though the options feel slightly fewer. Still, the food is excellent — “chef’s kiss” quality. Expect four or five m meat dishes alongside salads, breads, and sides. Drinks are served at the table rather than self-service, which can be a minor annoyance when they’re busy but even then the staff handle it exceptionally well. --- Snacks Snacks are limited. They stock a fridge in reception with some desserts between 3-5pm and then later again with sandwhiches and raps, I’d say this happens at around 10pm onwards. Ice cream is only offered at lunch and dinner, not during the day which feels like a missed opportunity when you’re lounging in the sun. At one point the staff did come around and offer Cornettos I believe but we were in the pool at the time. You also can’t get ice cream at the beach bar which is a massive shame too. --- Food Overall The food is fresh and well-prepared, but small gaps (like lack of pork, proper iced coffee, or daytime ice cream) keep it from being truly outstanding. Still, it’s far better than many resorts. --- Activities There’s plenty to do, with an app that helps you track times and plan ahead. The entertainment team is friendly and enthusiastic. We missed archery once by three minutes and were turned away, which was frustrating, but understandable given limited stations. Other activities are always available: water polo, giant chess, table tennis, and more. The radio shack announces events 15 minutes beforehand and lends out equipment. Canoeing was a highlight, though water sports were limited by red flags during our stay. Gym facilities offers more than enough for an avid gym goer with air conditioning and water on tap. --- Rooms We stayed on the ground floor without a balcony, which didn’t bother us, but others may prefer higher floors or bungalows. The fridge is stocked with large bottles of Coke, Fanta, Sprite, and water — the first set free, refills charged. Rooms are clean and comfortable, with good showers. Toiletries are basic and dispensed in tiny amounts. English TV is limited to BBC World, but Premier League matches are shown live on Bein Sports in-room — a big plus. It is a shame that you are unable to watch these games in the bar forcing you remain inside your room. Wi-Fi is excellent throughout the hotel, but oddly, the smart TVs don’t allow you to connect to it, meaning Netflix and YouTube apps are unusable. A frustrating oversight when the apps are right there on the screen. 2 Fresh bottled water is provided in your room and restocked everyday which is a massive plus. Staff Sumeyy was an absolute star. We had been affected by the English NATS system going down and our flight was pushed back by two extra nights. Sumeyy kept us constantly updated and aware of what was going on. She speaks very good English and probably the best English at the hotel. The hotel was very accommodating and gave us additional rooms for our stay. Melek also extremely helpful during this period of time. Helped explain the issue originally and helped us as well during the process. Staff are consistently warm and welcoming. Mirkan is especially lovely and is always around to have a laugh and joke as well help wherever he can. Twice we were asked if we were guests (once at archery, once by security), which felt odd but harmless. Overall, the team is attentive and friendly. Kerem - Waitor in the lunch bar/pool bar excellent service. Remembers your orders and brings them to you before you’ve sat down. Always attentive this being said the dinner waiting staff are similar to this and are always polite and amazing with their service. We honestly can’t fault the people here Facilities are immaculate throughout the hotel. You won’t find a dirty spot anywhere in this hotel Notes as a Brit • No pork — expected in a Muslim-majority country, but worth noting. • English is spoken, though not fluently everywhere. • We occasionally felt stared at by other guests, possibly due to language or appearance. • Massage staff were a bit pushy, though they offered good deals. --- Pools We found two pools: the activity pool and the quieter 16+ pool, where we spent most of our time. The adult pool is scenic, peaceful, and even visited by friendly cats cared for by staff. Both pools are clean and enjoyable. --- Overall We loved our stay. The hotel promotes a healthy lifestyle, offers endless activities, and serves beautifully cooked food. For someone in their 30s who enjoys sports and relaxation, it’s a great fit. It’s not perfect — missing a few touches like proper iced coffee, pork options, and usable smart TVs — but for the price and package with TUI, we were very happy. Rating: 4/5 (8/10). A wonderful holiday, just shy of being truly exceptional. P.S check out is at 12, they have room available for luggage etc and if you’re flying with Tui your pick up is on a board at reception. Water is regularly available via machines that are spotted everywhere imaginable at the hotel

Lovely holiday would recommend to families with children aged 16 and above ideally due to stairs and activities. Really friendly team, Mahsun made our holiday trip experience one to remember, he made sure to include our children in all activities. Our son will forever remember the dancing, darts and pool activities.

We have had a lovely stay at magic life hotel, we have had fabulous entertainment from the crew mainly Mahsun who have made us feel very welcome and who is very chatty. Would highly recommend to anyone staying here.

We have just returned from one of the best holidays we have ever been on. Tui Magic Life Sarigerme was an amazing resort in every way. It is in a lovely location, only 20 minutes from the airport, and on the beach, and set in very lush gardens which are beautifully maintained- often with peacocks wondering around and hidden gardens, streams all around. The beach is lovely, with loads of sun loungers available, and a fantastic beach bar which was a lovely place to relax- we particularly liked the sundowner hour with cocktails and live saxophonist playing. The sea is very shallow and perfect soft sand, so ideal for swimming in, always with a lovely breeze. There are so many water sports included for everyone too- banana boat, kayaks, sailing, water ski, windsurf etc The pools are lovely- large and clean and always loads of loungers free-you don’t need to run down early! I also liked that there was an adults only pool and a hot tub which were really pretty, built into the side of a cave. The restaurant Magico was great and we liked to sit on the terrace and enjoy the meal. The food was fantastic- a large buffet with so much choice- all beautifully presented, and different each day and night. The quality and flavour was superb, and we particularly liked every evening the ‘chefs dish’ which was a special meal which the chef would plate for you and present like you were in a restaurant eg: salmon in a champagne sauce- great idea! The head chef Nazmi was always present watching everything very proud, and talking to us. There were live cooking stations for omelettes, grilled food, fondue, and many more. We saw that they had areas for vegetarian, vegan and even gluten free foods. They offered a tour of the kitchens which we did and it was great to see behind the scenes- all fresh food and high cleanliness. There are also 2 à la carte restaurants included in the all inclusive, both on the roof top which were lovely for a change of scenery, and gave stunning views of the sea and area all around. We liked that the lunch buffet was in a restaurant near the pool which made it more relaxed and easy to get to, and a change of scenary. This featured pizza ovens, grills, pasta station, sandwiches and fresh salads. There is also a beach grill serving burgers, wraps, chips, salads and fresh fruit throughout the day. The drinks are good, all included wine, beer and cocktails and the bar staff are so friendly and efficient. There are premium spirits and wine to buy if you want to. The room was perfect- a regular hotel room, clean and fine. Lovely bedding, a fridge stocked with water, beers and wine, and a stunning balcony with a great view of the sea and nice cool air conditioning when you come in from the hot sun. The housekeeping team did a great job every day in cleaning the room. There is a spa there which we used for an amazing hamman and full body massage. The man who is the spa manager was very friendly every day and we would say hi to him when we collected the towels. There is a gym and tennis and lots of exercise and dance classes but we did not do them- we relaxed! The archery there was good, and there was sessions for beginners, and advanced and even a tournament. The new lady in charge was lovely! The best part of the hotel is the staff- every one we met was so friendly, welcoming, smiling ‘Merhaba’. Every team did so well and all worked together to make the resort work well- be clean and look amazing. The entertainment team was superb - they are all so friendly and great at organising activities throughout the day- fun games round the pool, or darts, boccia, archery, so much going on. In the evenings they put on fantastic dance shows. There was a glow beach party, and a special star night in white party, and the team all joined in with guests after chatting and dancing. It was nice because each evening the main entertainment show was in a different venue so it changed it up. All the team were amazing- Mashun from darts and boccia was so great with everyone- he was friendly, fun and made the activities really good. We also loved Shanti, Mickal, Luciano, Ana, Franco, and the acrobat man, and the lady who introduced the shows and did the thanks at the end. They were all great- sorry if I have forgotten some! We loved the special Magic life clap at the end of shows and the special dance we did in the pool. The resort is great for adults, but also for kids - the club looked great with their own clubhouse, play area and pool, and a character Mymo meeting the children for photos and to say hi. There was a dedicated kids area at the buffet with kid friendly foods. There is also a club for teens which our son joined- they do mountain biking, cocktail making, pizza making, darts and water sports etc The reception and the pool hut had loads of board games you could borrow in the day or evening which was nice to relax and play various games. The WiFi is really great there and covers all the hotel and grounds. There is also an app which details all the activities, clubs and shows and you can book the restaurants etc on it. There is quite a few steps from the hotel to the beach, but it is a beautiful walk and my husband had a broken leg and still managed fine. The bungalows are further so best to stay in the main hotel if mobility is a problem. There is a hotel shop, and a hairdresser and the lady there is lovely and I had my hair braided. The local town is only a few minutes away by taxi and we went to the supermarket there and also bought some clothes and gifts at the local shops. It is lots of small details which make this place special and they all work together to make it a wonderful resort to visit- both very relaxing or super fun- whatever you want to get out of the holiday. We were sad to leave and when our bus came to collect us the lovely manager Sumeyye (who was always around with a smile and helping out everywhere) walked us out and she stood there with other members of staff waving us off which was such a lovely goodbye. We will be back- thank you! X
