Batihan Beach Resort

We visited here 25 June 2026 with my partner and 12-year-old daughter, and overall had a lovely time! ✅ The good bits: • Our room was amazing, with a wonderful view over the pool • The whole hotel was spotlessly clean, and it’s right on the beach with 3 pools to choose from — we mostly used the quieter one as the main area could get quite loud! • Great selection of drinks and cocktails, and there were always different entertainment options going on • Even though people reserved sun loungers early with towels, there were still plenty available for everyone • My partner had a spa massage for €70 — the spa itself was beautiful, and it was so handy we could use the showers there on our last day, since our room was only available until 12pm and our transfer wasn’t until 7pm! • We took 3 trips into lively Kusadasi for shopping, which was great fun • Huge recommendation for Casablanca Restaurant! They collect you from the hotel and bring you back, the food is delicious, the team go above and beyond to look after you, it has such a warm family feel, prices are brilliant, and there’s no pressure at all — you can even just pop in for a drink! ⚠️ Things we felt could be better: • While the food was nicely presented and decent quality, it became very repetitive, and we struggled a bit for variety after a few days • We tried the hotel’s a la carte steak house and sadly didn’t enjoy it — tasters brought our were bland, and everything lacked flavour Overall a really good standard hotel, just the food let it down for us slightly!

Now if your anything like me the first thing you do when looking at holidays is to read the reviews. I made this review purposely quite detailed as I want you all to make an informed decision. The welcome we received when we arrived set the tone for the rest of our stay. We were greeted by a member of staff who simply barked "Passport" at us, took our documents, and then pointed us towards the lifts. That was the extent of our check-in experience. There was no warm welcome, no explanation of the hotel's facilities, no information about meal times or how the all-inclusive package worked—just a very abrupt interaction. I appreciate there may have been a language barrier, and I have no issue with staff whose first language isn't English. However, first impressions matter. If a member of staff is responsible for checking in English-speaking guests, they should be able to communicate the basic information needed to make guests feel welcome and informed, or be supported by a colleague who can. Unfortunately, this first impression made us feel like an inconvenience rather than valued guests, and it set the tone for much of the service we experienced throughout our stay. Our first evening mealtime only reinforced that feeling. We were seated for 25 minutes without anyone coming to take a drinks order or even provide us with cutlery. We had a big shock when realised that is not how things work at this hotel. The biggest disappointment was the food. I'm not a fussy eater and will happily eat almost anything, but even I found the choice disappointing. The selection was very repetitive, with many of the same dishes served day after day. My girlfriend is a much fussier eater, which made things even more difficult as only some of the food were labelled. Every meal became a guessing game, with no indication of what dishes contained or what ingredients had been used. The dining experience itself was equally disappointing. Mealtimes felt like a cattle market, with many Eastern European guests pushing in front of you at the buffet instead of queuing. This happened repeatedly and made every meal stressful. It seemed to go completely unchecked by the staff. At one evening I was just about to grab the ladle to plate some dinner up, and this lady swooped in from nowhere and grabbed the ladle before I could. I promise you that Is not an exaggeration, In the end, I found myself having a couple of brandies beforehand just to prepare myself for the chaos of another mealtime, which isn't exactly what you expect from a relaxing all-inclusive holiday. That said, there were some real positives. The resort's beachfront location is beautiful, with the beach right on your doorstep, making it easy to enjoy the sea whenever you wanted. The evening entertainment was enjoyable, particularly the spectacular fire show, which was a real highlight of our stay. We also want to recogniser the bartender in the main lobby bar Tunahan who was consistently friendly, attentive, and professional. After just a couple of visits he already knew our drinks orders and would always take the time to chat with us, asking what we'd been up to during the day and making us feel genuinely welcome. My girlfriend and I are very sociable people, so those small conversations meant a lot to us. He treated us like valued guests rather than just another room number, and his warmth and excellent customer service were a refreshing contrast to much of the service we experienced elsewhere in the hotel. He is a real credit to the resort, please pass on my words of thanks to him. Overall, while the beach, evening entertainment, and exceptional service from Tunihan were great. They weren't enough to outweigh the unwelcoming atmosphere, repetitive food and stressful dining experience. Unfortunately, we left feeling disappointed and would not choose to return in a hurry.

Our state in this hotel is very nice. All is veryyy perfect. I woll back for sure. :)

My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience at this hotel. The rooms were very nice and clean and exactly as advertised. The staff, particularly the entertainment team, were very friendly and helpful with everything that we needed. The entertainment team also provided a lot of fun activities throughout the day.

Entertainment team was very good. Daniella has very good energy and the whole entertainment team was very good aswell.
