Batihan Beach Resort

Reading other reviews I am very confused at the completely different experience we had. Rooms and hotel is extremely clean but dated as mentioned, but the food was absolutely shocking, as in almost inedible. Repetitive food, and almost always cold as in stone cold, even if you arrive at the beginning of breakfast/dinner sessions. Cold and undercooked eggs. Watery pasta. Cold casseroles. The a la carte was infinitely worse somehow, cold prawns and meat? Had to eat out most days otherwise would’ve gone hungry for 10 days - brilliant restaurant down past the beach by the supermarket. Beer and cocktails outside not great, better in the lobby bar. Was sold as a 4* hotel but would be a mid 3* in my opinion. Cats are EVERYWHERE. Not uncommon when travelling in Europe but the cats are in the kitchen area? in the dining area, and domesticated to the point of jumping on tables and customers while eating. Can’t see how this meets food safety standards. One positive stand out is the staff. Very friendly and entertaining, even towards the end of the season. Take the time to learn guests names and interact with them, getting everyone involved. Bus goes from outside into town for 25 Lira (around 25c per person). Seafront is nice, lovely view but not a beach per say, more a deck with loungers infront of the sea. Overall would not recommend, unless you’re on a hen do/stag do/ young partiers looking for a lively resort with free beer and happy to live on chips and chicken nuggets for the week. Supposedly being turned into a 5* but would have to see entirely new restaurant set up and major updates to the rooms if that’s to be fallible.

I came at the end of the season but it was great. I realy liked the service at the bars and the animation team, they where all full of motivation even tho it was the end of the season.

We are coming to this hotel since more then 12 years now. Every time it feels like coming home thanks to the lovely animation team Coco, Batin, Center, Dj Ozzy, Özge, Daniela... great times!

My young family stayed here for a 10 night holiday from 17th September. I wont lie, we were absolutely dreading coming here after reading the horrendous reviews at that time. Overall pleasantly surprised. The food choices were ok but a-bit repetitive. We ate out a few times to change it up. Meal times especially evening meal, the restaurants were extremely busy. Staff were friendly and no waiting at the bars for drinks. We were disappointed the pools were cold. I wish it was advertised about pool towels being available as I wouldn't have taken our own. The rooms are dated and need a refurb. We were impressed by the size of hotel grounds. Our toddler really enjoyed the soft play & trampolines.
