Cornelia Diamond Golf Resort & Spa

We arrived late in the evening and were checked in easily and allocated a room on the 7th floor - the room was perfect , spacious , comfortable bed , lovely bedding , plenty of sockets and all the amenities you could wish for , the shower was wonderful ! They do a turndown service and put chocolates on your pillow and there are robes and slippers in your room. Even though we arrived very late we were able to grab a quick meal in the buffet restaurant which was a bonus, sadly the wine wasn’t the best although the red wine we found acceptable. This is probably the best buffet restaurant we’ve ever been to the amazing choice of foods and cooking stations , the quality was exceptional and it was kept spotless always replenished and piping hot. The desserts were to die for as was the fresh orange juice at breakfast and I’ve never seen such choice and the free ice cream here and at the pool was delicious. Drinks are very good , high end spirits and the soft drinks are not watered down , the Prosecco and cocktails very good too. The resort is set out over a large area of walkways , gardens with pools and our favourite place the pier. We enjoyed sunbathing here during the day and having drinks here as the sunset in the evening. The beach is great with plenty of shade if you need it and so many sun loungers it was a joy not having to race down to secure them in the morning but take your time and move about during the day always being able to find somewhere to sit. The pools were beautiful and all areas of the resort are kept in a clean state. We enjoyed lunch at the pool bar again plenty of seating and shade and along with the buffet there is an à la carte menu which you can ask for. Biscotti is a nice coffee shop which provide lovely cakes and we always stopped off here on our way back from the beach. There are shops at the resort but we never saw anyone in them. The staff were happy , friendly and a great asset to the hotel. Housekeeping was always done well and the mini bar and snacks replenished daily. Golf was very good with half hourly shuttles , a coach so always room for everyone. We were very impressed with the high quality of the course and the greens , you never felt crowded or had to wait as play was kept moving by a marshall , the course is narrow however be warned quite a few balls ended up hitting the trees . If you stay at the hotel you can get free drinks in the bar afterwards and there are sandwiches too. Expensive but worth it. We will definitely be returning it had everything we needed for a lovely relaxing holiday.

As an all inclusive experience this was as good as could be expected. Exceptional housekeeping in all areas and very friendly and prompt service. The quality and variety in the main restaurant was outstanding. A very enjoyable holiday which I would recommend.

We had a fantastic week at this hotel and cannot fault it. All employees are very friendly and helpful. Enough variety and big enough to not feel like you’re basing yourself at the same place everyday (beach, pier with sunbeds, different pools, pool bar etc). Few things that may be useful for a family with a 2 or 3 year old in particular: - my son was able to make the most of everything in kids club (softplay, sit on cars, Lego room etc) - with our supervision but that’s how I’d want it to me at this age anyway. - the kids restaurant within the kids club is such a great option (adults can eat here too). It has healthy options as well as the food that makes a child’s face light up!). - à la carte Restaurant - we booked these for 3 of our dinners (€20 euro supplement per person but only for adults). Exceptional service in Tai Pen particularly but all are great. The main buffet restaurant is also good with lots of options. - we arrived by the pool/beach at 11/11.30am each day and plenty of sunbed options both in the sun and the shade. - drinks stations dotted around for ease - room curtains aren’t blackout but definitely dark enough for child not to wake at the crack of dawn! This always worries me before a trip! - we used the indoor pool just once but really lovely open space and the spa facilities were free of charge and we could take our little boy with us to the various jacuzzi’s (they vary in temperature so some are suitable and some are too hot but he was happy sitting on the step). It was just nice to have the option to go there for a short while rather than missing out completely. - Land of Legends is a 10 minute taxi ride away (we paid around €35 euros return with hotel taxi, can probably get a cheaper uber but we wanted ease and reliability). Entering Nikelodian land (paw patrol rides etc) was about £37 for two adults to enter after 4pm (young children are free). If you wanted just the shows/shopping/food then it’s free. We found this a nice day trip halfway through the week just to get to out of the resort for an afternoon. All in all I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family! Thank you to the hotel for giving us a lovely holiday!

We came to celebrate my sisters 60th birthday . From day 1 we had the best week . All staff went above and beyond to look after us and especially Gul (Turkish lady) looked after us . All staff polite and friendly . Grounds and pools were lovely and clean . Pool bar and restaurant was really nice . Rooms a little dark and no outside light to sit on the balcony in the evening. Plenty of clean towels provided . Mini bar and snacks replenished daily . Pier was lovely and again staff worked hard . This is my sisters 4th time returning and we came on her recommendation and we will be returning . Thanks for a great week :)

My family and I have stayed at Cornelia Diamond 14 times over the years and have spent well in excess of £50,000 with the hotel. Until our most recent visit, we had always held the hotel in very high regard and recommended it to many friends and family. Sadly, this holiday ended in unimaginable tragedy when my husband lost his life by drowning. The trauma of witnessing such an event and dealing with the aftermath was devastating for our family. Throughout this incredibly difficult time, the Guest Relations team showed exceptional kindness, compassion and professionalism. Their support was invaluable, and they deserve recognition for the care they provided. Unfortunately, our experience with the reception team was very different. After my husband's death, we were initially informed that there would be an additional charge of €360 per night for my two sons to have a room at the hotel. This was then reduced to €100 per night if they shared my room. We paid for the first night and were subsequently informed that they could stay until our original departure date at no additional cost. However, when we checked out two days earlier than planned, despite the circumstances, my family were challenged over a €200 room charge. We had vacated our room two nights early and did not request any refund for the unused accommodation. Just before check-out, I also received a telephone call asking whether my husband was in the room so that his bill could be settled, despite staff being fully aware that he had passed away. On another occasion, while questioning why we were leaving early, a member of the reception team appeared to be laughing or smirking. Whether intentional or not, it was deeply upsetting given the circumstances. At a time when we were grieving the loss of a beloved husband, father and grandfather, we felt there was a complete lack of empathy, sensitivity and understanding from the reception department. Their actions made an already unbearable situation even more distressing. We also requested a written apology from the reception team regarding these incidents, but to date we have received no response. I never imagined I would be writing a review like this after 14 visits. However, I feel it is important to share our experience. While the Guest Relations team represented the very best of the hotel, our interactions with reception during the darkest period of our lives left us feeling profoundly disappointed and let down.
