Dobedan Beach Resort Comfort

An excellent hotel that surprised us with its friendly staff, cleanliness, daily entertainment, and excellent food. We were thrilled.

Great atmosphere hotel for a family vacation. Good food, good drinks, nice pools and close to the sea. The internet speeds are also ok.

First I will start with the best part of the visit- food and especially pastry in the hotel. That is the saver of the experience. My big respect to the chefs running the buffet and managing such a big crowd and keeping it beautiful throughout. Very delicious and beautiful cakes/pastry selections. Fresh vegetables, fish, some delicious local dishes. Fruit selection could be a little wider but its a small thing. you guys doing a wonderful job. Staff working in the restaurant is worth a big respect. In general, if not the effort of the kitchen- the experience would be very average. If even. They are the only ones keeping this hotel up, because the rest needs BIG improvement. My advices : Providing staff with english courses (unfortunatelly even girls at the reception having a hard time speaking english) I dont like being approached in russian. I know majority of the guests are russians but I was not. And constant greetings in russian was a bit annoying. Unless your main goal is to have russian speaking guests there. In general manners of the staff needs to be improved. Even songs of life musicians were in russian. Yoga / water gimnastics teacher was shouting “davai davai” while excercising with the guests. Guests also were lacking basic manners how to wait in lines or behave in the restaurant, or use proper language around kids. Relax pool area was “smartly” occupied from 7am by covering sun beds with their towels so other guests had 0 chances to lay there for the rest of the day. And the funny part was that those people who occupied the sunbeds were not even there but leaving their things and just once in a while coming there like to their own property . Should be some rules about it… but that’s mainly mentality i guess. Sad experiences: -I wanted to do a late check out but i was told that other guests are arriving so we can get a room WITHOUT A WINDOW instead and still pay 15euros an hour. I was with a toddler by the way and i was willing to pay for the room we stayed so she can take a nap. I was told before that it will be a possibility to do so if I come at 10am that day and tell them i want a late check out. Which I did. But that wasn’t a possibility . -My scarf that was laying on the bed was brought to the washing together with bedlinens by housekeeping and ruined by high degrees. I could tell more, but I think the management team is very much aware about what they should improve in order to raise up or else they can continue with poor kid’s room and activities, alcatraz parties with strippers while kids are running around, and russian singing artists. All in all, i will thank you one more time for the great chefs and restaurant staff for saving our holiday .they get 5 stars. Good luck!

S-o, if you expect any guest Service from the Guest desk, forget it. It's Just an illusion an you should avoid this s-o called 3 star hotel !!!! Even after 3-4 hours nowbody Will be able to assist you în case you need any guest desk dedicated. Even if you ask the support from the reception they Will guide you on an answering Machine...
