We stayed in the resort for 10 days with our daughter and 8 year old grandson on an all inclusive board. Buffet and food: The food was excellent with lots of Turkish food, which we enjoyed. We think it was good that the dishes reflected the country we were in. While that might not suit everyone, there were plenty of alternatives. There were always plenty of salads, grilled fish, fresh veg dishes, meats and stews. At breakfast we sometimes missed the continental pastries often served by European hotels but there were always different breads, cheese and sliced meat available. Omelettes were cooked to order, if desired. We didn’t try the a la carte restaurant. There is also a snack bar by the main pool that serves chicken and lamb wraps at lunch time, which is handy if you don’t want to leave the pool area. The snack bar near the pool with slides does more food. Drinks and bars: Plenty of drinks available! Unlimited cocktails of various sorts, beer and wine. The Lobby bar is particularly relaxed (Omer was especially good ant the mixing) and there are three pool bars. Day time entertainment: The Animation team were particularly excellent. They made you feel so welcome and like part of a friendly club for your stay. This helps you meet other people and enjoy yourself during the day. Two people stand-out in the Animation team for us: Mehmet and Sait. They deserve a lot of recognition for what they do. Games they led in which we were regularly involved included pétanque and darts. Some of us also did aerobics in the pool. They also organised Bingo and a comedy night! There were other activities like yoga and water polo but we didn’t do those. Evening entertainment: The evening entertainment was of high quality with musicians, acrobats and of course the comedy night put on by the animation team. These shows were always preceded by a free-dance session for children and a Mini Disco led by the kids club. That is one area we felt could be better: the language used to engage the children during the mini disco seemed to be mainly Russian (with an occasional English phrase,) which put our grandson off joining in the kids’ club (because he only speaks English) so we cannot comment on the club. Cleanliness: Very good: rooms, pools and general surroundings. Pools: The main pool had many loungers. There was always plenty of space available when we came to it. It felt uncrowded even when there were activities happening. The separate slide pool was exciting and has two parts: one part for small children and another for bigger children and adults. Lifeguards were on duty on all pools, except at specific times. Staff: We regularly spoke to Mehmet and Sait whom we have already mentioned above and they - and the team members - were always professional and friendly. Of course, there are lots of other staff in various parts of the hotel. We found all staff we encountered to be helpful and friendly. Parking: We had hired a car independently, online, before we came because we wanted to do trips out to see local villages, sights (eg Lycian and Roman ruins) and beaches. Note: There is a Rent-A-Car rep at the hotel but we hired from Europcar. We collected the car at the airport on arrival although some of us used the transfer service. We were not sure if there was parking at the hotel. As it turned out there is limited, but free parking at the hotel, on a first come first served basis. I always managed to get a space but I think it would be possible to park outside the resort, on the road, if necessary. Transfer: This was well organised and the car used was very comfortable. Backdrop: The mountains around the towns (Göynük and Kemer) which can be seen from the hotel, and some rooms, are dramatic and beautiful. We stayed in the main building, on the third floor and we found the room comfortable for two. It was right next to the entertainment stage, but that was fine because we were usually there! Outings: We have included some information for anyone doing their own visits. We tried to visit Phaselis (ruins amongst pine trees and 3 beaches) but made the mistake of trying to visit on a Sunday, which is when locals also go, so there was a big queue of cars getting in, so we turned around and drove to Ulupinnar a tiny village with several restaurants that keep fish farms and serve grilled fish while you sit next to or over the streams of water. We made a longer trip to Arykanda which was a fascinating place. Lycian and Roman town ruins, built on a hillside, which includes an amphitheatre. There was a long abandoned ticket office and desolate toilet block, so don’t expect any facilities or charges! It seems to have very few visitors. For a while, we were the only people at the site until three other people arrived.
Came as a family of 10 and there is nothing to fault about this hotel. The night time entertainment is brilliant and really interactive. The hotel itself is immaculate, all staff are super friendly and can’t do enough for you. We have enjoyed playing darts and water polo during the day and also took part in aqua aerobics. Food and drinks and really good and there is plenty of choice as there is different options to eat all day every day. There is also fresh ice creams in cones and ice lolly’s for the children. The water park is brilliant and the kids have enjoyed hours of fun there. The hotel is not over crowded and there has been plenty of sun-beds. Special mention to Sait who works here, he is so friendly and approachable, nothing is ever too much bother and he is very informative and helpful to all guest at the hotel and we will miss him lots. We have had such a lovely holiday and made amazing memories. Thank you Greenwood Kemer.!

We had a fantastic stay at Greenwood Kemer Resort. The atmosphere was relaxed, the staff were genuinely friendly, and the beach was just a short walk away. One of our favourite moments was watching the breathtaking sunrises over the Mediterranean – waking up early was absolutely worth it. The location is perfect for exploring the area. We visited Kemer, Phaselis and Antalya Old Town, all of which are easy to reach and well worth seeing. A special thank you to the hotel team for the wonderful surprise on our departure. They presented my wife with a box of freshly made baklava to take home. It was an unexpected and very thoughtful gesture that perfectly summed up the hospitality we experienced throughout our stay. We left relaxed, with great memories and every intention of coming back. Thank you for making our holiday so enjoyable.
