Hotel Commodore Elite Suites Spa

For us it is best hotel in Turkey seaside, proved excellence for 10 + times for us. It is very important, that there is a continuous develeopment regarding food, services and to support enviromental focus thinking. Special thank again to Ms. Elena ARIK for her excellent work and support. We have spent fantastic days as always at Commodore Elite Suites and SpA, and waiting for return as soon as possible

This hotel is excellent with very little to be unhappy about. The rooms are spacious and well maintained, the pool areas are very relaxing and kept clean, always found a lounger, the beach is very nice and at both areas staff are always on hand to bring you a drink. We found the food very good with lots of choice at the three meal times, It is a little repeatative however there is so much choice it is no issue. The street food festival was particularly good. The activities during the day are pretty good and fun and we found the night entertainment decent. If we were to raise any issue and we are being a little unfair. The restuarant at the beach clears up at 1400, which we thought was a little early. Our room 5100 was quite noisy as it was next to reception and piano bar, staff were busy from early morning preparing for day ahead, also we used the Spa for a treatment package,it was ok had better at other hotels and the rep was a bit pushy to sell more.. The staff are excellent very helpful approachable and friendly throughout the hotel.

This was our first time returning to the same hotel, as we always try somewhere new, and it certainly didn’t disappoint. We stayed from 1st August for eight nights and had a fantastic holiday. The hotel is always impeccably clean throughout. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean and equipped with everything we needed. The shower was fantastic, the fridge was restocked daily, and we had a fabulous sea view from the 5th floor. There was a fantastic choice of food throughout the hotel. On arrival at midnight, the Elite Bar offered a full menu with freshly cooked food, including pizzas, burgers, omelettes and sandwiches – a lovely touch after a late flight. Breakfast had plenty of choice, while the beach bar was perfect for lunch. The evening buffet featured different themed nights, with some form of show cooking taking place outside each evening. We also visited Gusto, one of the specialist restaurants on site, for a special treat. The food and service were fantastic, and it was a lovely addition to our stay. The coffee shop is another great bonus, serving excellent coffee, Turkish tea, cakes and ice cream. What really makes this hotel special, though, is the staff. They are exceptionally conscientious, attentive and genuinely friendly. A huge thank you to Murat, who mainly served us at the beach bar. He was always ready with drinks and a big smile, making a real effort to chat with us, tell us about himself and get to know us. Such a fabulous guy! Yunus mainly looked after us during the evenings and was equally attentive, helping to make our evenings special. At the Elite Bar, Metin always greeted us with a big smile and made sure we were looked after. A special mention also goes to Bobby “Bocce” and Ozzy from the sports team. They were great fun, friendly and always made the effort to come over for a chat and say hello. We spent most of our time on the beach, where the service was excellent. Iced towels were brought around, iced drinks were provided daily, and there is a QR code on the tables and parasols if you want to order drinks. These little touches really make a difference. A lot of effort clearly goes into the entertainment programme. Some of the shows were really good, although we didn’t watch every night. I also treated myself to a visit to the salon, which isn’t something I would normally do. I had a wash and blow-dry and was so pleased with the result that I went back a second time. On our last night, I also had powder brows done. The salon staff were lovely, friendly and very helpful. The spa was another lovely treat on our first day, where we enjoyed a scrub and massage. We had a second massage later in the holiday. My massage was great, although my husband would have preferred a little more pressure! The hotel is also in a fantastic central location, within easy walking distance of the malls and shops. If you leave through the front of the hotel and turn right at the bottom, there are plenty of places to explore. Turning left out of the back of the hotel takes you on a lovely walk – we even spotted some turtles just a few minutes away by the bridge! Would we return again? Absolutely! We had a fantastic eight-night stay and would happily return to the Commodore Elite. The beautiful hotel, excellent facilities, great food and, above all, the wonderful staff made this another memorable holiday.

Myself and my partner are still enjoying our holiday at the Commodore Elite at the time of this writing. Regardless, I feel more than comfortable with leaving the upmost positive review now. The vast majority of staff at this hotel are fantastic! I’d like to particularly reference Arslan. I am a Type 1 diabetic and so for health reasons avoid sugar. I love coffee but learnt the hard way on the first evening, when despite ordering it black without milk and sugar they always come with sugar. My blood glucose rocketed as a result making me very ill quickly. This is despite the app stating these coffees contain no carbohydrates. I subsequently used my blood glucose meter to confirm this was due to the coffees. I assume this is because all the coffees come from the same machine dispenser and may pick up residual sugar when being poured out. Arslan was kind enough to speak to the chef and prepare a number of different coffees for me to check. Unfortunately, when tested all the coffees contained sugar but this level of service is impeccable. I am extremely grateful for his effort. Since this he has brought me Turkish tea every morning without fail or a word from me. His kindness, level of assistance and professionalism is second to none. Most importantly, he is just an extremely nice man. Unfortunately, not all staff have been as professional or accommodating. On requesting an iced coffee without sugar and milk in the Sweet Dreams Cafe two members of staff laughed at me, said it was not possible and then one proceeded to joke that I should have some ice cream. This was subsequent to me explaining that I am unable to have sugar due to my condition. A sugar and milk free coffee had already been prepared for me in the Cafe prior to this. This brings me to Menevva. The iced coffees around the hotel are pre-made and therefore contain milk and sugar. However, she has on several occasions gone the extra mile to prepare me a black iced coffee without milk and sugar on several occasions. She too has been exceptionally kind and provided amazing service. I had the upmost pleasure of undergoing a cooking lesson with the Sous Chef of the hotel Özgür. From this lesson I can see why the food is at such an exceptional level. He is a fantastic chef! Since the lesson he takes the time to greet and speak to me during every service which I appreciate is not easy being a chef myself. Again, this man is just a lovely individual and a credit to the hotel. The Commodore Elite have done well to keep a man of his talents at the hotel for the full 13 years it has been open. Similar to the coffee I was served several normal cokes when requesting zero. This ruined a couple days back to back as again it made me ill very quickly. Jana in Guest Relations was fantastic in rectifying this. She enabled me to order bottles to ensure I was given the correct Coke. Moreover, Baron consistently ensured my room was stocked with Coke Zero - replacing the normal ones in the process. Furthermore, Munire made sure the room was spotless on a daily basis. I think it is important to mention that the level of service we received was prior to the staff receiving any tips from us. I appreciate some of my feedback is niche as it pertains to my disability, but if these issues could be rectified it would provide a safer experience for others with Type 1 Diabetes. Moreover, I would most definitely return. Thank you for such an amazing holiday!
