Hotel Side Premium

This may sound like a somewhat negative review, but we did have a good time. This hotel does a lot of things very well, but some things do let it down. We booked directly with the hotel and arranged our own flights. It felt like we were the only British family at the hotel. Please note, that all members of our family were approached multiple times by hotel staff to write a positive review. These staff took my phone to "help", ensuring the 5 star aspect was completed. When I finished the review without them there to witness it, I was asked to delete it and write a new one under their supervision. I also have video footage of their staff taking my teenage son's phone and attempting to write a review using it. The staff are lovely on the whole, with one or two experiences of grumpiness and rudeness. The food is lovely. The cabins around the pool at lunch time are ideal. The pasta and pizza by the pool are delicious. The drinks by the pool are ok, but somewhat hit and miss, often large queues. The drinks at the lobby bar are very good. Tea time at the buffet is chaotic, with not enough tables for the number of guests, the waiters and waitresses are stressed out as a result, and we were subject to attitude a couple of times for taking a recently vacated table before they had a chance to clean it. As a result we learnt where they kept fresh cutlery and got our own drinks. The room was nice, with a huge and fabulous shower, but the balcony was very disappointing, perhaps made worse as we were ground floor even below pool level. The hotel was loud at times, even the cleaners shouting outside our door early un the morning. The daily tips we left were taken, but it didnt really improve any of our stay or experiences.

The hotel was excellent, we really enjoyed our holiday. The pool was excellent with a lot of activities in the pool. The seaside was also amazing, and the food was brilliant. Our rooms were also good.
