Kempinski Hotel The Dome

The overall experience at the Kempinski Hotel was mixed. The gym and spa facilities were excellent, and both the pool bar and beach facilities were very good and well maintained. Sofra by the Lake was also a highlight, with a lovely atmosphere and enjoyable food. Unfortunately, the dining experience elsewhere was disappointing. Only 2 out of the 5 dining options were open during our stay, which significantly limited choice. The main dining room felt more like a large canteen than a luxury hotel restaurant. Despite there being a dress code, many large groups were dining in golf attire, which detracted from the overall atmosphere. Acoustics were also poor with a lot of noise in the restaurant area. Service in the dining areas was also patchy and lacked the attentiveness expected at this level of hotel. Housekeeping was somewhat inconsistent as well — for example, the minibar was not always refreshed, towels folded carelessly. The staff were friendly, helpful,and fixed problems quickly. Overall, the resort has some very strong facilities, particularly the spa, gym, beach and pool areas, but the dining and service experience fell short of expectations for a 5 star property.

Excellent Hotel with a great product gourmet food and great golf staff looked after us really well including the porter Omer and the restaurants and bar staff. Pash Ahmet Yoldarim looked after everyone in the party with a friendly and professional service every day.

Wonderful week away. Hotel is immaculate throughout. Everything is about refinement, comfort and service. No loud entertainment, just gentle background music. To add that little extra, the rooms are even sound proofed! Every little nuance has been accommodated. Beds huge, exceptionally comfortable and you are even given complimentary ‘turn down’ service at night. Huge pool and area considering the number of holiday makers. Solid wood sun beds all have deep, towelling covered mattresses. Spa is immaculate as you would expect, with quite a large indoor/outdoor heated pool. My wife and I were quietly celebrating a personal milestone, which I discussed with Aysa, one of the guest relations specialists (the hotel calls them ‘lady in red’ and they are marvellous). Aysa set up for us to have a very special meal, finished with a heart cake topped with two sparklers, at the ‘Sofra by the lake’ al-la-carte restaurant. This service was so ‘personal’ and made our holiday one of the best ever. Staff throughout are incredibly friendly and all deserve the plaudits for such a great stay. In all, the best hotel we have ever stayed in, for what we wanted. If you want party, noise, crowds, slides, etc, I suggest you go elsewhere. Will we go back? You bet we will. Couple of point of note though: - Golf view rooms don’t have a view of the golf, unless you’re on the top floor. They point away from the sun, which may be helpful in the really hot weather. - Drinks at the hotels golf club are not included in the all-inclusive option. An easy solution would be to show your room card, but ‘them’s the rules’ as they say.

A superb hotel offering impeccable facilities and service. Mehmet Kanci in particular was always pleasant, helpful and cheery!!

Everything was amazing. We were staying one more night due to a problem and the service was fantastic. Not only were the rooms amazing but also the staff. Special mention to Ahmet Yildirim, Mahmut and Fuat, with an amazing service everytime. Thank you for everything and I would highly recommend it to anyone. Trust the service because its perfect!
