Paloma Oceana

Cilem was amazing couldn't do enough. Always smiling and service was 100% she looked after us every evening. Hotel was beautiful. Always a sunbed . All the staff were great . And always with a smile . I wish her all the success her hard work she deserve

We have just returned from a 2 week holiday in paloma oceana hotel in Kumkoy just to the north of Side on the med coast. We arrived on the 2nd sept leaving on the 16th , apart from requesting a room change which by the way was explained to us the earliest this could be done was the following day, we went away and enjoyed what remained of the day/evening. The next day as promised we were allocated a new room overlooking the pool area Top marks to the reception staff for that one. Value for money again we have no complaints food and drink was plentiful and covered most if not all tastes, with the option to use 3 a le carte restaurants per week as part of our all inclusive, We only chose to use 3 in our 2 week stay giving other guests the chance to book them too . The atmosphere was pleasant and all staff were always very polite and courteous always willing to assist in any way possible. The hotel is no more than a 3 min walk from reception to the beach past both pools and the slide pool , for those who say they could not get a sunbed - there are more than enough so no need what so ever to go rushing down at silly oclock to reserve them we could always get them even in the mid afternoon. The noise levels around the hotel grounds and pool areas was ambient at most even when pool activities were taking place you could still hold a conversation at a normal level. Bar staff as we've found in most hotels in Turkey , have that uncanny knack of always remembering what every guest was having a great skill in itself . Cleanliness - Where do you begin ? Rooms cleaned daily to a high standard by housekeeping who in our personal experience were more than professional and always nocked on the door before entering. The hotel grounds though quite big was meticulously cleaned and planted areas tended from about 0630 till dark when the pool robot came into its own cleaning the pool bottom ready for the next days use. Though we only went as a couple there were plenty of families with children [some with disabilities] having just as much fun as we did and disabled access for those with wheelchairs and for that matter pushchairs for babies access to the main building is via the many ramps that are built into the walkways so no issues there for people. You can walk from the Hotel beach into Side town or the Saturday Bazaar/market either will take you about 1hr at a steady pace it is aprox a 9 mile round trip all you need to do is turn left along the beach past a couple of hotels then up onto the beachfront walk for the town stay on the walkway all the way ,for the market turn left at the cash machines 3 together follow to the big mosque it is across the road ,Taxis to either is between 600 and 800 lira so not expensive . To sum up overall we had a great holiday in paloma Oceana and are already looking to book again for 2027

Stayed for 2 weeks September 6th 2026. The first thing to say is how clean this hotel, pool area and beach are. I must mention Selma our room cleaner 3413 and 3415 who not only did a fantastic job she was a lovely kind friendly lady who prides herself on doing a super job. Lots of ramps so very assesible for elderly or those with pushchairs. We loved having the interconnecting room. The private hotel beach means loads of loungers and lifeguards were in attendance at the sea and all pools / doing a great job not on their phones like at some hotels. The swimming pools were amazing - big and the cleanest i have seen. There's a waterpark for the kids which didnt seem busy while we were there. Enjoyed the Wasabi restaurant and was very well looked after by the head waiter. We had no trouble booking Al La Carte restaurants. The buffet was always busy lots of people. I must also mention the lovely lady who cooked my omelette - every day a big smile and a chat. She was my highlight of the buffett restaurant. Very gentle slope from sand into the ocean this was our holiday highlight such a beautiful trip. Would revisit.

Cilemm is an absolute legend working in the Aqua bar. Always smiling knows what you want to drink and preempting when you'll require your next drink. 10/10 to Cilemm and all the staff at the Aqua bar.

is my second time here, lutfi was amazing, great service, nizam and Nihat were wonderful, everything about them is great, they made my holiday. Would definitely recommend this hotel
