Sherwood Dreams

Family of 4 with a 3 and 7 year old. Lovely hotel, sofa bed in our room very hard but 3 year old didn’t complain! Food a little bit repetitive and quite oily but large selection of salads. Water park great onsite. Not much to do nearby within walking distance. Land of legends a must day out. Kids club was the highlight of the hotel , both kids loved it and all felt very safe. The set up was brilliant, really big custom build inside/outside area and the staff absolutely brilliant. 10/10 for the kids. Kiya, Uliya,Aziza, Anita, Diana and Juliia deserve a special mention , thank you!

We booked Sherwood Dreams as part of a family holiday with my sister and her family, so there were seven of us in total. We knew it was a more affordable option and therefore had realistic expectations. We weren't expecting luxury, but we did expect the standards of a five-star all-inclusive resort. The pools, beach and water slides are definitely the hotel's strongest points and our son really enjoyed these. Unfortunately, the overall guest experience just didn't match the description on the easyJet Holidays website. There were activities on the daily programme, but the animation team made very little effort to engage guests or encourage people to join in. Everything was announced over the loudspeaker rather than creating any real atmosphere around the pool. We only saw one amphitheatre show during the whole week - believe there were 2 but we were in the wrong place without knowing as there is noting to say what's on where. There is live music in the bar near the beach but it isn't great. We did get a good view of the hotel next door most evenings from our balcony so would watch theirs sometimes! The food was probably the biggest disappointment for us. On our first evening I found two hairs in my meal, which completely put me off eating many of the prepared dishes for the rest of the holiday. Food was often slow to be replenished and we found the choice surprisingly limited. The Italian à la carte restaurant was also disappointing and far from what we expected. We ordered Calzone and it was fried, they don't have a pizza oven in the Italian restaurant. There is a day time Italian that serves pizza, way better! Cleanliness was another area that fell below expectations. Poolside floors were constantly wet and people would fall over (its a pool i hear you say get over!) I get that but it was dangerous and then dirt from grass walkways would get mud stuck etc & it was just grim. Tables were not cleaned very often and overall the hotel lacked the attention to detail we've experienced elsewhere. The Wi-Fi was also very poor throughout our stay, not a massive issue just buy a bundle before you go out. One thing we did notice was that standards seemed to marginally improve on our final full day. I'm not sure if this was due to the 4 female guests being shown round by guest relations whilst taking an extortionate amount of photos just maybe a coincidence?! There was more entertainment, drinks were being served around the pool and cleaning noticeably improved, which made us wonder why this hadn't been the case all week. Despite all of this, we still had a nice holiday because we were with family, and that's what made the week special. However, had it just been the three of us, we most certainly would have looked to move hotels. We were contacted by EasyJet and the hotel whilst away to give feedback but as we were on holiday I wanted to enjoy myself and not have to document all of the things that were going wrong I think Sherwood Dreams has the facilities to be a really good family hotel, but in our opinion it lacks the atmosphere, organisation and attention to detail needed to justify its five-star rating. Unfortunately, based on our experience, we wouldn't return.

Unbelieveable experience at the hotel and the staff were amazing, Julie and the team at the kids club were incredible and my daughter did 2 fashion shows with them. She loved the holiday, food, experience just as much as me but the kids club made her holiday experience even more special. This was our 1st holiday abroad together just us and without doubt one of the most memorable experiences of our lives and memories that will last for a lifetime. Anyone doubting whether to go or not. Just do it, international drinks on hand whenever you want, staff that are some of the best i have ever seen abroad, beach less than 100 yards from your hotel and is beautiful, on site gym, sauna, turkish bath, shops, doctor, arcade, hairdressers. Pools are great and we never had an issue getting a lounger but prime spots are taken quickly so towels in the morning on chair is the play. Food was lovely, lounging by the pool you get servers who use rollerskates to make sure you always have a drink, water slides are fun as well. Honestly 10 days isnt enough for everything me and my daughter crammed into Antalya. Personal advice, don't buy cigarettes or tobacco from the nearby Kent Outlet or shops and walk up to MiGROS or Carrafour SA near the Belek Park Eczanesi (20 minutes walk) from resort (migros is sign posted) as they are way cheaper (no tourist tax) and book excursions through getyourguide.com and you will save a lot of money, also get a revolut or monzo card and pay in lira for best deals (exchange rate easy to work out, just get cost price in lira and divide by the rate for the day, currently 63/64 lira to the £1 to avoid getting scammed) Will definitely be back to Belek/ Antalya and can't praise this place enough.

Came for 8 nights, everything was lovely. Really clean, staff are lovely, food was also really nice. We will definitely be coming back!
