Side Su Hotel

We are currently staying at Side Su. The hotel is in a good location and we have a good room with no complaints. Wifi is free and not the best. The food is adequate but i did expect better. We are the only English couple in the hotel as it’s mainly Germans. I have no problem with other nationalities but some Germans are very rude. The beer and red wine are ok but the cocktails are terrible. The barman on a evening in the lobby bar has no interest in guest relation or simply preparing a nice drink. There is a girl on a afternoon on the bar who is very sweet. A smile goes a long way The lady who makes a omelette on a morning is the best. Also there are lots of lovely staff. I would not return or recommend to English holidaymakers

It's been a great experience! Me, my girfriend and my mom stayed for 6 nights in the hotel. The food was really good, the room service adequate and the location is perfect for those looking for a quite place to rest. The food had a mixture of Turkish and Continental European dishes, but the desserts were manly Turkish. The hotel has a dedicated are in the beach for their guests with sunbeds, it is a 5 min walk from the hotel, with lots of stairs, what can be a bit hard for those with accessibility issues, other than that, it was perfect for us. All was great, but the hotel staff has a special spot in our hearts, they were beyong amazing, with a special metion Muslum (I hope I got his name right). They create a real bond and make you feel at home, giving a whole new meaning to the word hospitality. In summary, if you want a quite place to stay, close to the beach and to the Side Old Town with a good all inclusive menu and with a great staff, don't think twice, just book a room.

Spent 5 nights Very pleasant holiday with lots of memories. All staff helpful. Beach just 5mints clean and sandy. 5th floor restaurant the great sea view. Turkish hamam good. Overall good experience. 👍

Extremely Rude Administrator who ruined the whole experience!     I stayed at this hotel in September for a few days. While the rooms were decent and the food was quite good, I would like to raise a serious concern about the check-in process, particularly with the Administrator Elena.   When my parents arrived, Elena was extremely rude throughout the entire check-in. She handed us a room key, and we discovered she had assigned my parents to a room with a SINGLE bed and an armchair converted into a child’s bed! When I asked if she was seriously suggesting my father should sleep in a child’s bed, her response was, “I already have enough problems and don’t want to deal with this right now.” After more arguing, she reluctantly reassigned us to another room -  this time right next to the hotel’s garbage room!   I have traveled widely, and I have never faced such unprofessional and outright rude behavior from someone working in hospitality! It was especially disappointing because the rest of the hotel staff, including those in the restaurants, were very polite and helpful. For a hotel that otherwise has potential, this level of treatment at the front desk is simply inexcusable.

We were checked into a great room with a view of the pool and the sea (thanks to the Russian-speaking receptionist). The room is in excellent condition, practically new, recently renovated—just like in the photos. It's pleasant and cozy to stay in, with well-thought-out details. For example, there’s a magnifying mirror in the shower. Special thanks for the tropical shower! The room is clean, and housekeeping comes daily. The main highlight of this hotel is the 5th-floor restaurant, especially the stunning terrace view. The food is delicious and varied, with a fish dish always available. The waiters are very polite and serve drinks (special thanks to the waiter Onay). We had red wine, cola, and ayran. The buffet is conveniently located in one spot, so you don’t have to walk far for different dishes. The hotel has a gym, which we visited a couple of times. The equipment is a bit outdated, but it’s still usable. We didn’t go to the beach — the water in April wasn’t warm enough for swimming. As for downsides, the Wi-Fi occasionally dropped connection to Internet, but the speed was good. Great hotel, thanks to the staff — our vacation was a success!
