SplashWorld Eftalia Splash Resort

We had a fantastic holiday at this hotel. We were offered a room upgrade on arrival for £200, which we took. Our room was cleaned daily and we had a fabulous view of the pool area with stunning sunset views every evening. The hotel ticked lots of boxes for my family: *Great entertainment (Not on Sundays) *Great air-con *There are many shops around the hotel and a market on Sundays, which is a 10 minute walk. *The food is standard, but we always found things to eat - including my fussy teen *The wi-fi worked brilliantly *No sun bed wars The negatives were that we constantly had people trying to sell us something, no matter where we were, on the way to get food, sitting on a sun lounger, on the way to the toilet... There are tip boxes everywhere you can think of, and then some. I do always tip, but it did feel excessive. There are also no cocktails included in the all-inclusive, but they will come round to you several times a day to offer you cocktails for 9-10 euros each. The slides are open from 10am-12pm and again from 2pm-4pm. We all loved the slides! The on-site shop is expensive! £4 for haribos, £12 for suncream. There is a range of excursions offered by businesses around the hotel, we did the jeep safari to Sapadere Canyon (cannot recommend enough!), Paragliding (cheaper on GetYourGuide), and we had a Turkish bath spa treatment on-site, which was incredible! The staff were always friendly and helpful. The hotel is spotless. We would definitely return to this hotel.

Holiday with Jet2 The location is Tukler, but as someone pointed out it is the 'Blackpool' of Turkey. Meaning the most commercialised area of whole of Turkey. They bumped up the prices in every shop and every retailer as possible. We had to find local people to find much more real prices for snacks and clothes if we wanted. Migras was a good surprise as well. The hotel is clean, tidy and truly aesthetically pleasing. My first day I went down the water slide that has a wall with Eftalia Hotel on and the person pushed into a wall so yeah I had a massive bruise on my arm all week. Halil who is the rep for Jet2, he told us about some helpful bits like allergies and how to correspond this. But also advertised excursions, whilst highlighting if we go with anyone else, the travel insurance doesnt cover us. We brought the Land of Lengends excursion at a premium price. But after that Sale Halil did not care about the bruise or what ever happened after. He did not even respond to the email and when I showed him in person he stated " oh I didnt think it was that bad" . Great job Jet2 and Halil. Now all the facilities was clean and tidy, never ran out of towels, tissue. The water slides should continue running water to prevent the slides drying out. The food was questionable, Nurcan female chef was so so kind, she really knew what was happening in the kitchen. She helped my wife and daughter with Gluten allergy. What I will point out is this. ALL the workers should try to understand English with common knowledge, such as what the food contains and allergies just incase the labels are not clear. Or cleaning people need to know something or in general the security dont speak a word of English. The restaurant should have a weekly menu for lunch and Dinner like their mains at least. The lady at the Waffle station so very kind, I could not obtain her name, sounded like Hashini but im not sure but always generous and helpful. I am upset the only time we had Turkish meat related food was Turkish night on Wddnesday other wise it totally westernised food, pizza, chips, burgers, sausages. When you pay so much id be much happier with Chicken Shish, lamb shish every day. When we went to Greece with Souvlaki every day which was an option with other things as well. Land of Legends was nice, a hot hot day, some queuing in the main water slides but normal rides and nickelodeon land small queue up to 5 mins maximum. Food was hard for Gluten allergy sufferers. The entertainment was small and cute on the site and we had access to the other Eftalia island resort, that most of it wasnt really child friendly, half naked men and women. The bubbles guy was amazing!!! Like wow. The girls supporting during the shows were kind. The balloon guy should be on for less time as it gets boring. There is a shuttle bus between them, no aircon!! And more like every 40 minutes as the driver just chills out, has a tea and generally doesnt seem to want to be on time. Why Jet2 thinks we need to be security checked three times and drug smeared I have no idea. They said random checks and they picked out EVERY GUY and a woman every 5. I just dont understand. There was a flight delay which didn't help in the long run of getting home as I needed to drive after the flight. All in all Turkey seemed fine but too much tourism has hurt the authenticity. Next time I will go slightly further out from the commercial side.

This hotel is great staff is very friendly and kind. For kids and family’s right place bcs they have many aqua park slides foods it’s okey. Every night different show dance, extreme, magic like and from entertainment team YUNUS is best so funny guy we wil come back next year
