Just got back from Eftalia Splash and overall it’s a solid 4 out of 5 from me. There’s loads to do for kids – plenty of pools, slides, and activities to keep them busy all day. We went in October, so it wasn’t roasting hot, but still warm enough to enjoy the pools, pools were cold but bareable Our room was basic but clean, and the four of us managed fine with a nice view over the splash park. We didn’t get an upgrade which suprised me as wqs assuming you automatically get offered an upgrade, but honestly didn’t need one. The maids went above and beyond, cleaning every day and keeping everything spotless. The restaurant can get busy and a bit unorganised at times, so best to go early or later to avoid the rush. The kids loved the chocolate waffles at breakfast and crepes at the snack bar for lunch. I had one dodgy stomach day, but I think that was just from the oily food, which I’m not used to. Like most all-inclusives, don’t expect miracles, but there’s plenty of choice and it’s good value for money. Burgerland and the Patisserie were nothing special but handy if you missed meal times. The staff were brilliant friendly, helpful, and quick to sort anything. Extra pillows and blankets? No problem. Wardrobe door fixed? Done straight away. There’s a free bus every 20 minutes to the Eftalia Island, which takes about 2 minutes and runs reliably. The shows at the island amphitheatre were much better than the hotel entertainment, and the animation team were a good laugh. The pool near the disco area is louder with music pumping all day, but great fun if you like that atmosphere. You can usually get a sun lounger easily, except near the pirate ship pool that one always had towels out early. Tip: if you bring insulated beakers, the bar staff (at both the hotel and the island) are happy to fill them for you to keep drinks cold. Splash is about a 5-minute walk to local shops and restaurants, and roughly 10 minutes to Migros, which is like a cheaper version of Spar perfect for grabbing drinks, sweets, and chocolates for the kids. Would I come back again? Absolutely. Between the slides, the shows, and the friendly staff, my family had a fantastic time. Thanks, Eftalia Splash, for a lovely stay!
It was a nice hotel , staff are lovely and kind but the nightlife with family was not enjoyable at all there were drunk guests next door to us both sides it was so disturbing and scary as Muslims with young children they don't control alcoholic people at all there and it was disrespectful to see will never stay or recommend to anyone again .
We stayed here for 10 days with our family and friends. We throughly enjoyed ourselves. The staff are all lovely. The food was okay but got bit repetitive but there was always something to eat. Dennis one of the entertainers was lovely, always said hello and made sure we was all good everyday we saw him. The kids joined in when he did his bit round the pool and he always said hello to them. Of an evening he would come and check we was all good and always said hello.
The hotel was lovely. Could not fault the cleanliness. The food was good and alway plenty to eat The staff are all polite and very helpful. There was a member of the entertainment team that was amazing with the kids and took time time to talk to to everyone. His name was Dennis, he spoke excellent English. And was very helpful and knowledgable with local info. Really nice guy. And helped make our holiday amazing. Couldn’t fault him
I didn't like that Eftalia Splash had to pay for all sorts of little things, from alcohol only bad beer and terrible wine were available for free. You have to pay for cocktails. There are no snacks available at the bar in the evening, as is the case elsewhere. All the hotel has a paid stand by the pool with ice cream. Paid children's electric cars, where you are not allowed to seat two children on one car, just to make more money. The biggest shock was that you had to pay 2 euros to weigh one suitcase, horrible. It wasn't bad, but I wouldn't go again. dirty blankets, unwashed vomit stains.
