Sunthalia Hotel & Resort

Location was terrible you need to walk 20 minutes or smth for get to beach then they want money for anything they just trying to scam people all of they have is premade meals like their meats for burger is frozen chicken meat mixed with ham staff is terrible for turks they threaten you like a farm animal their dinner and breakfast are like worse i dont know what they do to meal but this things are smelling like dead grandmas toes i just had worst vacation off all my life.

Where do I begin....this Hotel is most certainly not a 5 star resort....more 3 star. PROS.......It is very clean and the pool staff are working constantly to ensure the pool is immaculate and we had no problems with the cleanliness of our room. Hotel decor is very nice. Room was very nice and although no air conditioning on as apparently its still their winter this did not make us feel uncomfortable. CONS.....Food ...same every day ...breakfast usual variation of eggs...boiled...fried...omelette and scrambled ....nice variety of fruit...plenty of different breads but toaster so so slow.....no real sausage to speak of....usual croissants and little breakfast pastries ....coffee from machines....fruit juice from machines and full of sugar you literally felt it sticking to your teeth. Some cheese and meats also available. Other options like chips and sprouts also available!!! Lunch could be taken at pool bar and was always chips...salad ...burgers and chicken pieces or in restaurant ....again salads plentiful...chicken...fish...and other variations. Dinner same repetitive options and beef,chicken and turkey stew all in same sauce and beef inedible....did find cold lamb once on salad bar and asked for same to be cut off but could not even cut this with a knife. Cauliflower cheese was made with the same rubbery cheese . Overall quality of food very poor as so repetitive and tasteless and the cheese is so so rubbery its only the salads that are really nice and the roast chicken when available. Did not see any a la carte restaurant advertised. Now the lobby bar....it is chaotic....one person serving and long queues and drinks very hit and miss....cocktails well...not really cocktails just different juices added....gin and tonic wasnt too bad. This hotel is portrayed by Love Holidays are tranquil...sophisticated ...er no way....this hotel is purely designed mainly for very young Eastern Europeans who want to drink drink and drink and party party party.....and therefore can create a lot of noise in early hours .....British tourists minimum..... Overall did I enjoy my stay....yes the weather was lovely....the foam party was fun but I would not choose to stay here again due to poor food and rip off spa salesmen.....be very careful when booking spa as some many different prices quoted....from 65.00 euros to 2 young lads...to 55 eutros...then 50 then 45 including a charge of firstly 10.00 euros to use my card then 5.00 euros to use card....then eventually 40.00.

Hotwl was lovely, the staff was great, and enjoyed my stay so much!
