Anthemis Hotel

I do not recommend this hotel at all. Overall experience was very disappointing. The room on the 5th floor had a beautiful view, but that was pretty much the only positive thing. The balcony was dirty and the floor was broken. There was no hot water in the evenings and at night — only lukewarm water. The air conditioner remote was broken and several buttons were missing. The towels were no longer white; they were grey, heavily washed-out, and holed. Sound insulation is extremely poor. You can hear everything from neighbouring rooms very clearly. In the morning, from about 7–8 a.m., it becomes especially noisy because everyone gets out of the elevator on the 5th floor and walks past the room to go up to the 6th floor for breakfast. The worst part was the kitchen and breakfast — the worst I have ever seen. There were mouldy sweets on the food counter. I had to insist several times that the waiter remove them so that no one else would try them and risk getting sick. I would not stay here again and strongly advise against booking this hotel.

We stayed at this hotel after our Mediterranean cruise. The hotel was within walking distance to Haifa Sophia, the Blue Mosque, and Tge Grand Bizarre. There are several restaurants just steps away. The site has a bountiful breakfast on the rooftop terrace, with spectacular views. The staff was incredibly helpful. They arranged a taxi to the airport and even gave us sandwiches as we had an early departure before breakfast was served.

The location is so so good. The hotel workers are so kind and helpful. The breakfast is hight quality and the breakfast at the rooftop is incredible ,the view is fantastic to the mosques and the water. 5*

Great location! The staff is very friendly and available. Loved it. Where breakfast is served, you can have an exceptional view over Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia. The room is cosy and very clean. I read some reports about the noise, but I stayed in a room on the 1st floor turned to the busy side in a saturday night and I had no problems with noise. Very good relation quality/price. I'll surely book this hotel in a next visit to Istanbul.
