Anthemis Hotel

Great location! The staff is very friendly and available. Loved it. Where breakfast is served, you can have an exceptional view over Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia. The room is cosy and very clean. I read some reports about the noise, but I stayed in a room on the 1st floor turned to the busy side in a saturday night and I had no problems with noise. Very good relation quality/price. I'll surely book this hotel in a next visit to Istanbul.

We stayed at the Hotel Anthemis, which is located in the heart of the Sultanahmet for 6 days. The hotel is fantastic and the staff are friendly and welcoming. I would like to commend the General Manager Dojpan for operating a fantastic hotel and always there to answer any of our questions. We would also like to personally thank the following staff for making our staff memorable. Sarkan (Front Desk) Alp (Front Desk) Our fantastic housekeeper Bilmaz for keeping our room clean during our stay. Mahmut, Olgul and Sabriye for putting on a fabulous buffet breakfast every morning, you three are great and we thank you for your hospitality. Now about the hotel, clean rooms, nice water pressure, and a fair size. The hotel is steps from the metro, and about 150 meters to the Blue Mosque and within walking distance to the Grand Bazaar. There are hundreds and hundreds of restaurants in the area catering to everyone’s needs. The only issue that I had was the tv has a box around it making it impossible to put your fire stick into the HDMI. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.

This hotel is an excellent choice if you want to explore the old part of the city, everything is nearby. The rooms are clean, breakfast is delicious. We never felt such great hospitality and kindness from the staff of a hotel. From the windows you see another building

The hotel is good, in a sort of hidden location from the busy streets but still surrounded by many restaurants. Quick walk to all tourist attractions. Hotel itself is a bit outdated

The staff is very rude and sneaky.. We booked 2 non-refundable rooms 2 adults + 1 child of 12 years old in each room and although they were paid in full, the manager refused to accommodate us, claiming that they do not have extra beds for children because children cannot be accommodated in the type of room booked, although there is no such mention on the website,. Moreover, they refused to refund our money citing the No show policy and put the rooms available on booking.com, although they were paid. by us. It is unbelievable, those people are inhuman. I strongly recommend to avoid this hotel!!!
