We had a wonderful stay at Hotellino Hotel. The hotel is very clean, the staff are friendly and welcoming, and the location is perfect for exploring Istanbul. But the highlight of our stay was Sofia, the sweetest cat! My wife and I absolutely loved her. She truly feels like the icon of the hotel and made our visit even more special. We already miss her! Highly recommended, and we would definitely stay here again.

One of the dirtiest places I’ve ever seen. To be honest, this isn’t a hotel,it’s more like a poorly maintained, low-budget hostel. There was no air conditioning, and the smell of sewage was unbearable throughout the property. The towels were left on the bathroom floor, and everything felt dirty and neglected. The entire place smelled awful. I couldn’t stay there and decided to leave immediately. The positive reviews don’t reflect my experience at all. Don’t fall into this trap, save yourself the disappointment and book somewhere else.

Hotelino is a solid pick if your plan is to explore the city all day and come back just to sleep and recharge. For the price, the 3-person room was absolutely worth it. Breakfast was surprisingly good too. The hotel life sometimes takes a bit of time apart form that everything is coool The area around the hotel stays lively until about 2 AM, and even in the off-season the service was on point. Housekeeping kept the rooms clean every day while we were out sightseeing. Location-wise, it’s great — really close to Hagia Sophia, and there’s a tram line right behind the hotel, so getting around Istanbul is super easy. Plenty of other good hotels and shops around as well (just know your bargaining tricks). And honestly… the main attraction? The cat. I’m not even a cat person, I actually hate cats — but this guy gave me the sweetest goodbye. 🥹 Overall, good stay, good value, perfect for travellers.
