I wouldn’t recommend this hotel based on our experience. When we arrived, the light socket wasn’t working. The following day, there was no hot water at all. Then the air conditioning stopped working — it looked like it was on, but it wasn’t cooling the room. Even after the technicians came, they weren’t able to fix the issue. Overall, it was a disappointing stay.

Very poor service. I had a night flight and came early before check-in time (10 a.m). I asked several times about my room, different guys told me “it will be in 1 hour”, “it will be in 30 minutes”, “15 minutes more”. When I came at 14 pm, official check-in time, I was told that they just started cleaning and I need to wait more and they don’t know how long. And look at photos of “clean” room right after cleaning. Just lazy 2* service, nothing about Marriott name.

Our stay at the Delta Marriott Bodrum on 18/8/2025 for 5 nights turned into a complete scandal and has completely shattered our trust in the Marriott brand. • Overall hotel cleanliness was appalling. The room and common areas were far from hygienic. • The shower hose was leaking, making the bathroom unusable. • Most shockingly, the metal frame of the towel hut’s tent fell on my wife’s head! This could have resulted in a serious accident. • Electrical sockets on the walls were detached and posed a severe safety hazard. • Staff were insufficient in number, unresponsive, and demonstrated a complete lack of professionalism. These conditions are not worthy of a five-star hotel but rather below the standards of even the lowest-grade guesthouse. We were exposed to both health and safety risks, which is absolutely unacceptable. We have photographic evidence of all these issues and are ready to provide them if requested. An establishment that disregards the safety of its guests cannot represent the Marriott brand. We demand an immediate investigation into this matter and a satisfactory response. Otherwise, we will continue to share our experience across all platforms and pursue legal action if necessary. Ali & Tuba Poyraz
