I’m am in no way fussy, and I understand you get what you pay for at a 3-star hotel, but I have stayed in 3-star hotels where the experience was 1000x better than here. Here, we struggled to find enjoyable meals. Food was cold, bland, and repetitive, with very little variety. The canteen had flies, dirty cups, and often no cutlery. Drinks were limited to tea, water, and juice, which, in my opinion, tasted like perfume. Snack time offered only a few items (untoasted cheese ‘toasties’, baguettes, hot dogs, chips), which disappeared quickly if we tried to get anything, snacks was the post promising food time of them all so this left very little to choose from. Breakfast was watery scrambled eggs, cold beans, and sausages, with the freshly made omelette station outside being the only decent option, sadly found this on the last 2 days. We ended up eating out most days. (Go to smileys across the road, good food, the best staff) The pool area could be pleasant, but flies were everywhere constantly on you and your bed. Loud rap music played daily round the pool. There isn’t any evening entertainment as advertised—just music you can request. Some staff at the top bar near the restaurant were unwelcoming, though Borak at the pool bar in the evenings was so lovely. Eve and Jayjay were friendly and organised activities like darts and yoga. Overall, the hotel has potential thanks to its location and some staff, but it desperately needs refurbishment, better food, improved hygiene, and more consistent friendly service. Honestly, I would rate this closer to 2 stars rather than 3.

Arrived on 20th October, having booked when all the reviews seemed OK. Our experience seems to be similar to others, NOT so great. Rooms are OK size, no coffee making facilities (good job we brought our own then!) Shower is good. I was sick on night 2 and required clean bedding, which was like trying to get blood out of a stone. Eventually got sheets but no mattress protector. Went out and came back to the bed having been made (we had a Do Not Disturb on the door! ) with no mattress protector but the bed blanket under the sheet. Good job it wasn't cold. Food was OK, we always found something to eat. What was really disappointing was the all inclusive drinks. Unlike other hotels we've been AI in, no cocktails even with local spirits, just vodka, gin, whisky and beer. No self service coke/lemonade, although there was fruit juice dispensers, coffee and tea. Our first night was incredibly noisy, with teenagers running up and down the corridor until the early hours. This abated over the week as they all gradually left. No entertainment apart from very loud techno music 😵💫from the second bar ( where a very limited range of cocktails could be BOUGHT! ) As for the staff, they were all obviously told to say You're Welcome after a thank you, but they should try telling their faces to mean it. I didn't see a single member of staff smile in the whole week, the young lads clearing plates in the restaurant at least seemed willing to be there, which is more than can be said of the bar girls. I don't think £1300 for 2 for 7 nights is particularly cheap considering the above, plus the hotel is grubby and needs a good refurbishment.
