Blue Bay Platinum

We have been enjoying holidays in marmaris for over 20 years and have stayed in many of the large hotels in that time. On our walks we have always commented on how impressive the Blue Bay Platinum looks from the outside. We always research our choices and have enjoyed watching YouTube reviews (particularly Hangovers and Handpays) all of whom have given overwhelmingly positive opinions of their stays. Having stayed here last week we cannot praise this hotel enough and is without doubt the best hotel we have ever stayed in on our marmaris holidays. Every single member of staff from the outset were always friendly and with a smile on their face(particularly young Omut) Our room had everything we needed and had excellent air conditioning and a lovely walk in shower. The choice at breakfast was always good ,the omelettes were superb as was the choice of other traditional continental items. The outdoor snack bar is legendary (rightly so!) The fried chicken drumsticks and pizza slices were all we had hoped for! Plenty of choice once again and perfect if you didn’t really want a full meal in the restaurant at lunch time. We spent a lot of our time at the relax pool. There we were looked after by the amazing Alex. He always knew your drink and when we would be ready again. A wide range of food choices in the restaurant and even picky eaters would not go hungry. All dishes are clearly labelled and tasty. We were particularly well attended to by Vedat always happy to help. (As was the manager/section leader in the area we sat by the windows) The whole site is kept spotlessly clean by the many younger members of staff. The ice cream /patisserie building was a lovely daily treat especially as we took advantage of the many seating areas as we followed the sunshine . Our room was cleaned everyday and water bottles replenished so thank you to the team of smiling cleaners. Will certainly plan on a return visit to a hotel we should have chosen years ago. Good resort, nice food and easy simple rooms. Just the basics for if your out and about all day. Alex at the relax pool bar is the best member of staff this place has! Always polite, always ready to serve and very funny!

We have had a fantastic time @ the Blue Bay Platinum. We would like to a special thank you to Alex @the Relax Pool as he made it even more special with his hospitality and looking after us throughout our holiday. Thank you to all the staff throughout the hotel as they really made our holiday. They all work really hard and are always smiling.

It’s not what it says on the tin !!! Don’t get me wrong to stay is ok but the food is not good absolute rubbish Ate out ok most nights….could find something to eat for breakfast and dinner…….they do not cater for westerners!!!!! Don’t get me wrong I am happy to respect religion but when the next door restaurant is offering bacon and pork sausage why can’t a big hotel do the same!????!!!!
