Aqua Fantasy Aquapark Hotel and Spa

Wow, what a holiday experience. We loved every minute. I’m going to start by thanking some of the staff who made it that bit extra special. Tugay – brilliant from the moment we first met poolside, always making an effort to get us involved. His English was excellent, which made it easy to have interesting conversations and really connect with him. Ellie – lovely, funny and an absolute character. She genuinely had us crying with laughter at one point during mini golf (I hope she reads this as a reminder 😂). Lutfullah – great fun right from day one when we played boccia together. His English was a little more limited, but that never stopped us interacting well, having plenty of banter and enjoying ourselves. Mert – we didn't really get to know him until the last few days, but he was great fun and always trying to make us laugh. We didn’t interact as much with some of the other entertainment staff. They were always friendly and welcoming, but not quite as engaging with us as the four mentioned above. Poolside entertainment – this was great too. We played water polo and mini golf most days, although the mini golf could do with a little maintenance. There was also volleyball, football and plenty of other activities happening if you wanted to get involved. Bars – lots of good drink options, with bars spread out across the site. Tugba in the main bar near reception also made a great coffee 😋 Restaurants – we tried all of the onsite restaurants. The fish restaurant wasn’t really for us, but that’s more personal preference than anything else. The Steak House, Asian, Italian and Turkish restaurants were all excellent. Starters were brought out straight away while you chose your mains and the staff were always lovely. Aqua Park – we loved it. Plenty of slides, a good-sized lazy river and a wave machine area. It’s also only a two-minute walk from reception, which was really convenient. Entertainment – every night offered something different and was very enjoyable. The performers and dancers felt genuinely high quality rather than just cheap acts put on to fill the schedule. Shops on site – some items such as footballs and snacks felt a little overpriced, but the clothing and bag shop offered excellent value. Arcade – this was probably our biggest disappointment, as everything was charged extra. It would have been nice if at least the pool tables were included. We paid for a game of bowling, which felt fairly priced compared to the UK, but the pool tables seemed quite expensive so we decided not to play. Overall, it’s been a 5 out of 5 experience and a huge part of that is down to the staff members mentioned above, who really made our holiday memorable.

What a fantastic week! Looking back, it feels like we were constantly on the go because there was always something happening. There was so much choice during the day that we genuinely struggled to fit everything in. My partner somehow ended up playing water polo twice a day most days… I barely saw him! 🤣 It certainly kept him entertained and gave me some peace and quiet 😂 A huge credit has to go to the entertainment team, as they really made the holiday for us. They all brought something different. Mert is definitely the wild one, Ellie was always so friendly and approachable and Tugay kept us on our toes from day one, giving us plenty of stick for not joining in with the volleyball! (In our defence, we were trying to find the boccia) Lutfullah was running that and despite limited English, we still managed to have a good laugh together. Between all the entertainment staff, they did a brilliant job of making everyone feel welcome, whatever your nationality. The hotel itself is immaculate. Everywhere is spotless, the staff are friendly, respectful and professional and nothing ever seemed too much trouble. There was plenty of choice at every meal and we honestly couldn’t fault the food all week. One thing that really stood out was the overall atmosphere. It genuinely felt like the staff enjoyed working there and I think that comes across in the way they treat guests. It made the whole place feel relaxed and welcoming. The evening entertainment was another highlight. Every night there was something different, and the standard of the performers was excellent. It was obvious the hotel had invested in quality entertainment and it really showed. I don’t usually leave reviews, but after such a positive week I felt this hotel deserved one. Thank you to everyone who helped make it such a memorable holiday. we’d happily come back.

The hotel was amazing lots of things to do. the entertainment team are really nice especially tugay and ellie made us feel welcomed. loved everything about this hotel.
