Some good...some not so good. If you usually book 2* you will like this hotel at best it's a 3*. We were all inclusive + but there was nothing + about it. No robes or slippers. No decent toiletries or body lotion, Mini bar soft drinks only, that were not replenished at all once used. Fresh bottled water every day in room. I will say however it is VERY clean. Hotel itself is very dated and need of some TLC. In bar area I counted 10 light bulbs out that need replacing. Our first room was top floor level 5 and then accessed via a winding staircase to level 6 not suitable for my husband who walks with a stick. We were moved day after and room is ok, old fashioned and dated like rest of hotel but clean. No cover on remote for TV and only 2-3 channels in English nog tgat we watch but its nice to have background noise at night. Holes in some of our bath towels but they were changed daily. Toiletries leave skin dry and there was only hand soap at basin and with the one bottle of showergel/shampoo no lather. After 3 days at 4pm onwards there was no water hot or cold for shower or loo flush. Reception indicated it would be back on in 10 mins, after 90 mins cold was back on but not a drop of hot. We had 2 nights without pre dinner shower. The following nights we waited for water yo come on and by the time we went to dinner restaurant was jammed. This has been for the last 5 nights. Who wants a cold shower...not me... who wants to shower at 3pm to ensure hot shower...not me. It was the whole level 5 of our block and our friends opposite our room was same. Last night it went off at 4pm and wasnt fully functioning until 7.20pm. Reception said speak to guest relations who informed me those times were busy for showers as everyone wants shower at same time. NOT MY PROBLEM RAMADA you have filled hotel to capacity without the basic infrastructure to provide fully operational facilities that have been paid for. We had a bulb out in bathroom that was replaced same day well done. In room no main light control at bedside had to get out of bed to turn off lights. Bedside lamp switch was faulty. No modern USB sockets in room we used our multi plug to keep it all charged. Lobby very dark and spiral stairs to restaurant the non slip tread was worn and peeling also bad lighting on these stairs. Some reception staff (not all) were inattentive on one visit receptionist was on her mobile for over a minute while I waited for her to a knowledge me. Bar area was okay, bar/waiting staff were very attentive even at busy times. Food was fine, lots of choices, turkish and english. It was nice to try new things and flavours, plenty of salad, fruit, pastries, bread, etc. At times it was like eating in a zoo the cacophony of noise was almost unbearable even with my hearing impairment. Coffee is fine from machine in restaurant. Jacobs coffee bar offered ground coffee which was very good indeed to drink in or take away. One thing, the cats were not really a problem but people did feed them and pick up kittens. Flies everywhere all day and night. Rooms have sliding fly screen on patio doors so you can have door open and nothing can get in. Pool toilets and internal shower room were lovely at start of day. Halfway through though they didnt seem to be maintained. We eventually moved to quiet adult only pool as the constant music was very loud all day in main pool area. Quiet pool was lovely but daily some adults brought children round despite signs showing 18+. Would we come here again? no but it clearly suits a lot of British families and its a good resort for those with big kids and little ones. . Side note. Hotel indicated doctor on site but it is nurse in attendance, they call doctor for you and transport you to and from the Dr office in town. I used this on day 2 and was impressed with the service. All in all Ramada can do much better than this and I will be speaking to Jet2 rep and my travel agent on return.
Absolutely brilliant hotel from start to finish. The hotel was spotless, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the whole resort was really well looked after. The food was excellent with loads of choice every day, and the all-inclusive drinks and service were great. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and always made us feel welcome. The pool and beach areas were beautiful, with plenty to do during the day and really good entertainment in the evenings. It was perfect for both relaxing and having fun. We had an amazing holiday and genuinely couldn’t fault the experience. One of the best all-inclusive hotels we’ve stayed at and we would definitely return.
the pool is nice and so are the people the night activities and entertainment is reallly good for the kids
Just returned from a weeks stay here , Would say it’s more 3 star than 4 star hotel. Our room was dated needs a refurb but it was cleaned everyday . Pool areas are great and the slides are a big hit . People leaving food lied around the floor and sunbeds was lazy . Very rare you see people cleaning up , some parts of the hotel needs a good clean and is dirty . The snack bar opened until 5 you could always find somthing but wouldn’t say it was the most hygienist either flies constant around the foods . The hotel does have a lot of cats, I don’t mind but when you’re trying eat they are trying climb on tables to get your food is abit extreme . Entertainment team are great and really do try their best . Evening entertainment found on a little bit late 10-10.30. The waffles served 2-5 are to die for with melted choc on them , the ice cold coffees are great aswel . Would I stay again ? No . Wouldn’t say it was a bad hotel but could do with improvement
Overall Verdict: 3.5/5 | Would return? Yes, at the same price point. Family Setup: 2 Adults, 2 Kids (Ages 10 & 7) Booking: Jet2holidays Package deal (~£3,000) We wanted a budget-friendly family break this year, and at £3,000 all-in for a family of four, this package felt like a solid deal. Now knowing the hotel's minor shortcomings, I would actually stay here again for the same price point. 🚐 Travel, Arrival & Wi-Fi Transfers: The coach transfer took around 1 hour and 15 minutes from the airport—pretty standard and easy enough with the kids. Wi-Fi: Wi-Fi coverage was surprisingly good throughout the hotel grounds and extended across most of the outdoor pool areas. Late Arrival Experience: We arrived late, right as dinner was ending. Instead of keeping a small meal aside, reception and restaurant staff had us rush down to the buffet before checking in, leaving us to eat while workers actively cleared away around us. A small late-plate option should really be standard for late arrivals. 🛏️ Room & Maintenance The room size was brilliant for a family with a 10 and 7-year-old, but maintenance was easily the main negative of our stay: Cleanliness: It was tidied upon arrival, but I wouldn't say deeply clean. On a sweet note, the housekeepers left lovely towel sculptures on the beds on a few days. Repairs: The pin pad on the safe was falling off, and the bedside light fitting was loose—nudging it meant it would fall off the wall. Balcony Doors (Parent Warning): None of the balcony doors above ground level had working locks. They weren't broken; they simply had no latches fitted at all. Something to keep in mind if you have younger children. 🍽️ Food & Dining Buffet (Breakfast & Dinner): Food was actually pretty good with a wide selection, featuring subtle menu changes daily to keep it feeling fresh. Lunch: We ate at the outdoor snack area every day and were consistently pleased by the quality and options on offer. À la Carte: You get 1 free à la carte visit per week included in the package. We chose the Turkish restaurant, and it was a great experience—definitely make sure to book yours early in the week! 🏊 Pools, Sunbeds & Facilities Water Slides: A massive hit with our 10 and 7-year-olds! Lots of fun with a few different slide options to choose from. Sunbed Rush: People start reserving beds as early as 6:00 AM and rarely return before 10:00 AM. However, as early risers, we put our towels down at 7:00 AM on the way to breakfast and always found plenty of beds left. Spa & Checkout Showers: We were allowed to shower in the spa area on our checkout day. If I had actually paid for the spa facilities, I would have been furious—the shower head was falling off the wall, the cubicle door lock was broken, and there was no soap provided. 🎭 Entertainment, Vibe & Extras Animation & Shows: The team was generally good, and evening shows were enjoyable. The kids' disco needs a revamp, though—during interlude songs, some team members clearly hadn't rehearsed the moves, leaving the kids confused while just swaying their arms in the same motion for the whole track. Cats: Stray cats are everywhere, including inside the dining areas. I wasn't a big fan, but as they are just looking for food scraps, they don't get too close. Touts: Daily visits around the pool from people offering local restaurants or watersports. They aren't overly pushy, but turning them away by day three gets a bit annoying.
