Very beautiful hotel, always clean, staff friendly. Upgrade to a sea view room it is worth the price. Pool areas are large and always somewhere to sit. Snack bar in the day has lots of choice for food. Animation team are very friendly and there’s always something on/ or to do in day and evenings. Would recommend and definitely would like to return in the future.

Just wow! What a fantastic hotel. Booked a side sea view & stayed on the ground floor(which actually has the biggest balcony with sunbeds) with view of the pool, sea & the most spectacular sunsets. Rooms cleaned every day, new towels & linens, stocked mini fridge with beer, water & fizzy drinks. Only a walk down the corridor from a bar so we used that for coffee in a morning rather than using facilities. The staff are so friendly & do so well to try speak variety of languages & rememeber each guest. They all work so hard, relentlessly cleaning to ensure the place is spotless. The food is buffet but they’re frequently coming round to top up drinks. As many reviews mention, the food becomes repetitive, but there is so much variety & so very well presented. So much fresh fruit, salad & mixed meat options. Like many all inclusive hotels, a lot of the desserts taste the same but worth trying the variety. Something for everyone. The snack bars are the same every day give or take but can’t go wrong with the choices- highly recommend the flatbreads! We used the free à la carte evening for the Chinese which wasn’t amazing but nice to be served for a night. One afternoon they did an Oktoberfest celebrations & put an amazing spread of food on, all carved beautifully. The bars don’t skimp on measurements & tend to serve garnishes. Endless choices of bars; pier, beach, pool, all the indoor bars. We even nipped into the nightclub one evening where the dj takes requests. Plenty shops around the hotel incase you need something specific. Games room & a sports bar, even beauty parlours & barbers. My mum had a massage which she thoroughly enjoyed. This was sold to us by the gentleman that comes round the sunbeds- very nice chap & not pushy. As for the pools, they’re gorgeous & plenty of them- certainly didn’t struggle for sunbeds any days we were there for the 3 of us. The beach is mixture of sand & shingle, some may prefer beach shoes. We did have a cabana for one of the days which was lovely to be served every 30mins & jump off our own pier. A taxi into ozdere is 15min & 9€ & very trusting friendly drivers. Ozdere market on Saturdays & a nice break from the hotel. We also paid 95€ for a taxi to Ephesus & paid for tickets online as it was cheaper than jet2 package. My only negative points to bring to attention: - pool music. I appreciate they’re trying to cater to all different people but it’s very rarely relaxing music, starting at 10am it tends to get straight into mostly bassy obnoxious rap/ party music. - the cabanas have recently been rebuilt, however there are hidden lips on the floor from one level to another, which actually caused my mum to take a tumble. Certainly not ideal if someone older/ frail goes over- could possibly result in big trouble for the hotel if they don’t put some grip tape/ yellow tape so people can at least see where the step is. - entertainment doesn’t have a schedule, just turn up & find out Overall a brilliant stay & well worth every penny. Highly recommend it to anyone, just be aware there’s plenty entitled people that expect the world (& nothings ever good enough!)

So I am leaving another overall positive review with a couple of suggestions to make it even better .. This was our 3rd consecutive year here so knew what to expect and as always had a great time. I am a bit baffled by other reviewers saying the food was " cold " naff" or "Boring". This hotel never stops serving and preparing food . the attention to detail in the main restaurant particularly for deserts was excessive! My husband is GF and he did not struggle at any meal to find something lovely... For the price you pay compared to other hotels , i think this offers great quality and value so not sure what else they could offer to satisfy ( they don't go mad with chicken nuggets and the like so maybe that's a problem for some- and donuts for breakfast ? Well no , there aren't but then i don't eat those at home either :) There are croissants , bagels , pancakes , fresh bread , fresh omelettes , cold meats , cheeses , fresh eggs , yoghurts , fruits , so much to choose from really) Rooms cleaned and towels changed every day ( i didn't expect or need this so excellent housekeeping) Pool area always very clean , usual towel hogging on beds but quieter in August than last year in July so no issues , just don't get why you'd reserve beds at say 7am ( could see from balcony) and not use them till after 2pm !? Think again my issues to further improve would be to make the a la carte restaurants a bit more " vibey" they are deathly quiet and opening out to the terrace would be a nicer place to sit than indoors .. The ground floor as I said last time , is forgotten space really , lights never on and no one there - promote it and use it! Never saw anyone in Irish bar and cinema and nightclub looked empty walking past - this could really add another dimension to evening entertainment ... of which the acts are repeated so what you see on first week is same , ok , but bit boring to see same thing when staying for 2 weeks . I would suggest putting kids club inside or start earlier , it drags on a bit with baby shark and the like , but then we had little ones once!! Did yoga each morning & enjoyed it but really IMO would be fabulous to do on the beach or the grass area where we did one day , as for me , using the entertainment stage was a bit grotty and primarily in full sun , so we all squashed in the shade by speaker .... The grounds could easily accommodate and would feel more holistic!? We had another spa treatment , was sold a package , but compared to last year felt very rushed ( I did question if it would be enough time ) and the masseurs we had in a couples room were sniggering at times which was a little uncomfortable ( we had eye masks on , but it certainly didn't have the same professional feel as before) My husband used the barbers which was great and reasonable. Overall , I would come back here , but we need to try somewhere different ! If management take a look a some finer points to use hotel facilities to the max it would be even more special. Will be back , maybe 2028 :) Just worth a mention to management - the spa shower area for use on day of check out were really grim

We stayed at Sunis Efes for 11 nights in August and gave it 4 stars. Overall, we had a lovely holiday and there is a lot to like about this hotel, but there are a few areas that could be improved, especially considering the price. The pool is absolutely amazing and was one of the highlights of our stay. The hotel itself looks beautiful, with a great interior and lovely grounds. The cabanas were spot on and made our days by the pool even better. The beach is also lovely, with beautiful clear water, and we really enjoyed spending time there. The spa was another highlight, and the à la carte restaurants were very good. Housekeeping also deserves a mention, as our room was cleaned to a very good standard throughout our stay. Unfortunately, the main buffet restaurant was a disappointment. Dinner was consistently cold, which really took away from the experience, and breakfast was very poor. For a hotel of this standard, we expected much better food in the main restaurant. We also had some frustrating experiences with the bar service. On several occasions, we were waiting to be served, only for the barman to ignore us and serve people who had just arrived. We noticed that Turkish guests sometimes seemed to receive preferential treatment. I cannot say whether this was discrimination, but it certainly made us feel overlooked. We had paid a considerable amount for our holiday and tipped the staff, so it was disappointing to feel that we were not always treated equally. The location is another thing to consider. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere, so if you like to go out and explore or have shops and restaurants nearby, this may not be the best choice. Our room also overlooked an unattractive area, which was disappointing given how beautiful the rest of the hotel is. The amphitheatre is also very poorly designed. It is on flat ground, so unless you are sitting right at the front, it is difficult to see what is happening on stage. This made the evening entertainment much less enjoyable than it should have been. Despite these issues, we still enjoyed our holiday. The pool, beach, cabanas, spa and à la carte restaurants are all excellent, and the hotel has a lot going for it. With better buffet food and more consistent service, it could easily have been a 5-star experience for us. As it stands, we feel 4 stars is a fair rating.

I will start with the negatives because I would like the positives to be the ones leaving the final impression, as my experience was very positive. Negatives: Depending of course what everyone is looking for, the pool bars were not the strongest point. One of the two was relatively hidden, basically it was never very busy, the other one was at the snack area and it wasn't right by the pool. This led to a good thing though, I consumed way less alcohol than I expected from an all inclusive experience but I kinda missed having a mojito in my hand constantly! The food was good but wasn't excellent and I would have liked more Turkish cuisine options during lunch and especially dinner. I also missed donuts in the breakfast. No idea why, but I was convinced I would find donuts but I didn't. That said, there were other nice sweet options. I missed having the stage with the night events in the middle of the resort around the restaurant, like in other resorts I have visited. The stage was relatively further away from the restaurants. Again, this is a personal taste. Positives: Something that initially was a bit negative for me (again personal taste) ended up being positive. The resort is quite compact. It felt initially like a small place (it isn't, it really is the way it's built, it's big in reality). But after a couple of days it was great that I could be from one place to another (any place really within the resort) in top 5 minutes. There was food all the time. I mean it, all the time. Breakfast, lunch, dinner but also snacks in the meantime, as well as the patisserie that had sweets, ice cream and coffee all day long. It was one of the resorts with the least pushy services. The massage, photographer etc informed you on the services but didn't push. Staff was of course friendly and polite. Didn't expect anything else from Turkish people and I wasn't disappointed. There were toilets everywhere, really everywhere. Having little children with me, it was important to be able to take them to the bathroom in 2 steps from where we were sitting. The beach was very beautiful but unfortunately my children preferred the pool almost all the time. People were very patient with children. I really think it's one of the most kids friendly hotels I've been. They had waterslides for all ages. Very big ones and smaller ones in separate areas, which was great because my children didn't feel excluded from the big ones and the small ones were really nice and not boring at all. There were always sunbeds available, I never had issues finding 3 for my family. The air-conditioning in the room was great. With 35 degrees outstanding, I would turn it on for like 15 mins and then there was no need for more. The rooms stayed super fresh. In general it was a very good experience and I keep nice memories from the place and many people from the staff.
