TUI BLUE Angora Beach

The hotel was beautiful. A 40 minute transfer and from the outside looks a bit of nothing but when you go in it is like an oasis! Beautiful grounds, rooms, pool areas ans a spa. All spotlessly clean constantly! The food in the restaurant was of a very high standard although sometimes not as hot as you may like but that is nitpicking. The waiters and bar staff are very friendly and drinks are constantly replenished and emptied cleared away. I would recommend this for couples who want a chilled vibe as it is in a quiet area and the beach isn’t great as stoney and grey sand but still usable! The gym was a little warm but I would recommend the hamman spa package or massages which were great as well. We would go back definitely

We had a lovely stay at Angora Beach. We opted for the swim up room, which we highly recommend- it was like having a mini villa all to yourself. It’s a quiet hotel, so great for relaxing, I wouldn’t say it’s a ‘party’ type of place- if that’s what you’re in to. But for us, it was exactly right. We stayed in room 411 and it had sun all day long. There is a staff member who comes around and takes drink orders, but there was a bar very close by so you can walk and get yourself if you wish. Upon arrival we were each given a free 15 minute massage at the spa (not sure if this is standard) but of course we used it- and then booked some other massages in, the spa manager will give you a good deal. They do prefer cash payment, and the manager kindly took us to the local ATM to get it. The two masseuses were brilliant, I had the lady and she got the kinks out of my neck and back, my partner had the male masseuse who really took into consideration some of the things he’d asked him not to do/to do. There is a mini market, but it was a bit pricy- €5 a packet of crisp. They do accept card, but again prefer cash. The food: we are vegetarian and didn’t struggle with food to eat at the buffet. The lady who works the bread section was so lovely, and even made my partner special bits of food (that were veggie) that she thought he would like. Faith who worked in the buffet was great- really on it with everything! He knew my partner liked ice in his water, and another waiter didn’t get him ice (we didn’t complain) but he went and got a glass of ice for him! Thea’s coffee was a lovely addition, and for any of my non-dairy milk drinkers they offered multiple alternative milks which I’ve never experienced before at an all inclusive. If you are not a cat person, I would not recommend coming, as the cats are everywhere. They are harmless cats, and do add a smile to your face, especially when they come around and sit with you for cuddles. They do try and run in your room, so make sure you keep the doors closed. The entertainment is simple things like dart nights, karaoke, music quiz, bingo, and they did have a live music performance and an acrobatic performance. The staff are absolutely lovely- and really attentive. Not all staff speak English, just as not all staff speak German etc- but it was a good mix of languages available from the staff, but if we had any trouble we just used the translator app on our phone and it worked perfectly. Loads of cocktail options at the bar. You can’t have cocktails in the buffet, you have to grab them yourself from the bar if you want it with your dinner. You can get alcohol like wine, beer, mixer and spirits at the buffet though, just not the cocktails. The call to prayer is around 5am, so if you’re a lighter sleeper (like me) make sure to bring some ear plugs- but you get used to it as the days go on.

We has an amazing week staying at this hotel . Our visit was right at the beginning of May so it was not too busy but did fill up towards the end of the stay. We had a private pool room which we loved. Our room was in Block D room 415. I would highly recommend this room for allday sun. I had emailed the hotel in advance to request this room following a previous review and it was perfect. Room D413 and Room D417 also with private pool on either side of us where also good for the sun. Blocks A and C got the sun in the morning but their pool would go into shade in the late afternoon although you can just move your sun beds around to sit in sun. Blocks B & D are much better for sun late morning and throughout the day. Our room D415 did get the sun in the morning and until sunset. Perfect! Block D is also located next to relax pool with swim up bar. Easy to get your drinks to sip by your own pool. Occasionally the bar staff would come round and collect your drink order which was great. Restaurants where good, wine was a bit hit and miss, loved the cocktails. Snack bar made a nice change from main restaurant for lunch. Weather early May , first day was cold, windy and raining, so we had a massage in the Spa which was perfect, and the rest of the week it was Sunny. On a final note we flew with SunExpress and had no issues, just download their app well before your holiday and add in your booking details. Overall we had a lovely relaxing week, and I would highly recommend staying at this beautiful hotel resort.

This is a smaller hotel, quiet and relaxing. Food is excellent, great facilities. Staff attentive and excellent service

Amazing hotel everything u need is on site. The main pool is amazing and there is no rush for a sunlounger in the morning!! Food is amazing and plenty of choice! We had our own pool room that was perfect!!
