Wyndham Garden Hoi An Cua Dai

Off to a bad start when no show on airport pick up. But did redeem themselves a bit with a free transfer when we changed hotels. On arrival and throughout staff, particularly reception were great. Room big but if you want to use the shower a degree in pluming will help. Room and bathroom great size but let down by balcony. Narrow with bar type stools no table and ours overlooked the road and a building site. Also very poor WiFi on balcony. Pool small and very tight so didn’t spend any time there. Breakfast a bit like a war zone. By stopping breakfast at 9:30 it was very crowded and a struggle to get a table. Overall ok but we had another 4 days in Hoi A and decided to change hotels.

Our experience at Wyndham Garden Hoi An was nothing short of wonderful. While the property holds an official 4-star rating, I am more than happy to award them 5 stars for their outstanding hospitality. There was truly nothing to complain about! First and foremost, I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to Mr. Hoang Phuong (Reservationist cum Sales Admin) for his enthusiasm and detailed assistance right from the moment I booked the room. Special thanks also go to: Mr. Hung (Bellman) for his warm and helpful assistance with our luggage; Ms. Lyly (Receptionist) for being so adorable and accommodating us with a smooth, early check-in and Ms. Serin (Receptionist) for her warm farewell that wrapped up our check-out process beautifully. We were also thoroughly delighted by the delicious Welcome Drink upon arrival. As a Wyndham Gold Member, I did notice that the standard tier-recognition greeting was missed during check-in; however, this is a minor detail that can easily be polished through internal training and didn't dampen our stay at all. Regarding the room, it was impeccably clean and neatly arranged. I absolutely fell in love with the hotel’s architecture—a tasteful blend of classic charm and modern elegance. The breakfast buffet was on par with great hotel standards: varied, flavorful, and very hygienic. Location-wise, the hotel is perfectly situated near the ancient town. We rented a scooter for a small fee and spent the whole day happily exploring around Hoi An, which was super convenient! In summary: Wyndham Garden Hoi An is a gem—well worth staying at, experiencing, and definitely deserving of a 5-star upgrade. Highly recommended!

Hoi An is the most beautiful city I have ever visited. Thousands of lanterns create a magical atmosphere. The sea is beautiful, and the hotel is cozy and the staff are very friendly and helpful. You can see that tourism is booming in this area—new hotel are springing up, and the waterfront is being renovated.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the overall atmosphere was excellent. Great breakfast and a convenient location. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!
