Gold Zanzibar Beach House & Spa

The hotel is really great, it provides high class quality and the staff is amazing. The rooms are spacious and clean, the beach is excellent - fine white sand and clear turquoise water. The hotel has a large area and it's never crowded. There are enough sunbeds, enough space in the pool and the restaurants. The food is delicious and with satisfying variety. We had a great experience in the a la carte restaurant too. For the people traveling with children I would recommend the kids club and especially the painting and cooking lessons. My daughter loved those activities. She drew an amazing picture with instructions from the painter who works with the kids and really leveled up her skills.

There are jellyfish in the ocean so we could not swim in the beautiful blue waters. The lovely pool is so full of salt that will change the color in your bathing suit. The sun is vicious as are the mosquitoes even with Protection. The beach is full of Husky vendors,and there is loud music for morning till night. If you stay in your air-conditioned room, you will have a lovely time.

This is a luxury resort, closed off and isolated from anything authentic. The beach is extremely crowded and very noisy with rock music all day. food is very good.

This hotel exceeded our expectations in every possible way! Beautiful rooms, impeccable housekeeping, exceptional food (rarely have we seen such an incredible breakfast buffet!), a stunning pool and beach, and a wonderful sense of privacy and tranquillity. Even though the hotel was fully booked, it never felt crowded or busy. The staff were genuinely warm, friendly and incredibly helpful. With our flight departing at 11:35 pm, we were able to enjoy the entire day at the hotel after checkout, with luggage storage and shower facilities available before leaving – such a thoughtful service! We couldn’t have wished for a better stay and would return in a heartbeat. Highly recommended!
