Gold Zanzibar Beach House & Spa

A fantastic resort hotel on one of the best beaches in Zanzibar. Breathtaking sunsets, powder-soft white sand, starfish in the water, comfortable sun loungers, and exceptionally attentive service — especially from Khadija and Salim. The rooms were very clean, and the food was always fresh and delicious. We were completely satisfied with our stay and were able to relax and recharge wonderfully.

A wonderful hotel on the beach. Beautiful garden and nice views from the rooms and bar on the sea. Grat buffet meals and attentive staff. The AI drinks package is rather poor as far as wine or spirits are concerned and cocktails are far too sweet for our taste. However, a beautiful place and fully recommended!

First class resort. People, food, facilities all excellent.

Me and my 14 year old stayed for nine nights in August and I can’t rate this place highly enough! It’s a resort with pure SOUL! Just the loveliest team covering the bars, restaurants and entertainment. Big thank you to Sachith and the guest relations team for dealing with a shower issue so swiftly and finding us a new room very quickly, as well as the complimentary sunset dhow trips - we loved these. Also a huge help when my son needed to see a doctor - again Sachith oversaw this with support and huge kindness. Everyone on the resort asked after him on the following days (ear infection!). The facilities are lovely, the rooms are gorgeous, food and drinks really amazing. We did a cooking class also and huge thanks to the entertaining chef who held this! The aqua aerobics are the loveliest I have ever done - run by an exceptional crew - everyone relaxing and doing shoulder massages in the pool! Just fabulous. I wanted to cry when we left, it felt like a five star home from home! Kendwa beach and village also great, lots of interesting trips to do and worth timing it for the iconic Kendwa Rocks Full Moon party next door which was pretty awesome! I would recommend the Gold very, very highly! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️❤️

It was an incredible stay, everyone is kind and a real attention about every guest. The food is delicious and our oceans was simply perfect.
