Alua Sunny Beach

The staff and food was fantastic and the only animation lady was amazing but wasn’t impressed with the pool being so cold that I couldn’t go in and the entertainment was a bit wierd like the circus was burlesque from Tina and Sophie Poultney and Sue Scott (West Midlands)

Stayed in this hotel last June was called Dreams hotel and spa resort great location for relaxing bye many off the pools or a couple of minutes and on the beach staff last year couldn't be more helpful and my favourite club lounge was perfect mini bar in room filled daily with frsh water and cans of various soft drinks and beers food great last year but im afraid won't be back after this years experience so many cuts have been made now shame to lovely view even booked same room this year

Have quite a long review about this hotel. Pro's - lovely looking hotel ( believe it used to be a RIU ? ) nice position, rooms very good and serviced, alcohol was decent quality, Most staff were pleasant but not all. Food was just about good enough, breakfast was the best. Swimming pools, although quite cold, were good.pool bar service was pretty good. Price was very agreeable. Transfer with Jet2 was ok. The Sunny Beach strip was very nice, with lots of bars ,shops, restaurants and quite busy, even though the season was coming to an end. Up to this point, we loved the hotel but now the Con's - Wasps are a nuisance, food needs to be looked at. Main restaurant is a bit like a canteen. Cross contamination possible with dishing up utensils being moved about. Al a 'carte restaurants ( two ) Asian, we watched a member of staff , who was working on dishing up your food, was seen ,picking his nose and wiping his hands on his apron. He was approached regarding this and seemed puzzled why he was being reprimanded and his associates were smiling. He then came back out wearing gloves.! The second restaurant Bulgarian, had allowed a dog to be brought in and we were sat on the next table. Should not be allowed. Entertainment was poor. Seating inside was ridiculous, all jammed in rows. Service at the bars inside were badly managed and constant waiting to be served. Lifeguards present around the pools but allowed anything to go on ,diving, bombing , general bad behaviour. Such a shame because it's a stunning looking hotel and unfortunately ,at best, 4star.

​We booked a cheap, pleasant week away here towards the end of the season, and the hotel turned out to be pretty good overall. The food was generally nice, and it was quite easy to find something good to eat. Since I’m not usually a fan of buffets—I find them a bit too noisy and canteen-like—we tried to dine in the à la carte restaurants at night or head out instead. ​We upgraded to the "My Favourite Club," which was a fantastic choice. It gave us access to an extra lounge that was wonderfully peaceful. A special shout-out to the lovely gentleman working in that lounge every day; he always had a warm smile and poured drinks, adding such a welcoming touch. ​Last day here today and having awful middle-of-the-night flights, the hotel was brilliant enough to give us a late checkout for when we were ready to be picked up, which was hugely appreciated. ​The hotel itself was always kept very clean, and the pool area was beautiful, though the water was a little chilly so you definitely had to brace yourself! The beach was lovely too, and it’s handy that the hotel has its own section with sunbeds and a bar just as you walk out to the right (past the Secrets section). ​All in all, we had a good week. If the hotel had more staff with the wonderful, friendly attitude of the gentleman in the Favourite Club lounge, it would make for an even more pleasurable stay!

Great hotel and staff!!!!! We have amazing stay in the hotel, the room is so big and clean, the food is delicious too!!!!!
