Astoria Hotel

The location is decent, considering it s very close to the sea, but you have to walk around 3-5 minutes to their private beach. The atmosphere was ok, a bit too crowded for their capacity. We had to search for a table in the kitchen or to wait for somebody to finish their meal. The rooms are big, but not at all clean. One of the bed sheets was ripped and the other one had a yellow stain and they didn t replace it while we stayed there, even though we requested it. There also was an awful smell in the bathroom. We had a birthday celebration during our stay there and they assured us that we are going to receive a complementare cake and champagne, but then they forgot about that day and promisese us they will come the next day. Less food than I was expecting, we didn’t have very much of a choice in this matter. The corner for people with digestive problems was non existing. On the other hand, plenty of cakes to choose from. We left our towels at the beach and went to the toilet and to grav a drink for 10 minutes maximum and somebody else came and moved them, threw them in the sand and when the manager came he said that they made a mistake but he cannot do anything to them, except offering us another sunbeds. He was racist towards us when I told him if I were to do the same to them what would he think and said that we would be obligated to take measures against us. The tourists that threw our towels were agressive, spoke bad to us and the hotel didn’t do anything to them and said that he cannot punish them in any way. So I don’t recommend a vacation in this hotel. Not at all a 4-stars hotel like they are claiming to be.

We always feel very well here and it has been the 6th time we returned. The food is excellent, the animators are wonderful, the sea view is amazing. Thanks for everything, Manager Melissa!

We had an amazing stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it! The hotel itself was fantastic, and the beachfront location was perfect. The beach was clean, beautiful, and very well maintained. One thing we especially appreciated was that there were always enough sun loungers available, both at the beach and by the pool. The hotel has a strict no-reservation policy for loungers and regularly checks them, removing towels if they have been left unattended for more than an hour. This made it easy for everyone to find a place to relax. Our room was huge and had a stunning sea view. We felt very comfortable there and truly enjoyed spending time in it. The location of the hotel was also ideal, right on the Boardwalk. It wasn't too noisy—of course, you can hear some music from the surrounding hotels and the hotel's own entertainment, but that's completely normal for a beach holiday and never bothered us. We would especially like to praise the entertainment team. They put so much effort into keeping the guests entertained and always created a fun atmosphere. The Kids Club was an absolute highlight for our six-year-old daughter. She loved going there every single day! A very special thank you goes to Nicole and Anastasia, who took wonderful care of the children. They were both amazing, and Nicole became our daughter's absolute favorite. She made our daughter's holiday even more special, and we are very grateful for her kindness and enthusiasm. The food was also excellent. Considering it was a buffet, there was plenty of variety, with different dishes offered regularly, so there was always something new to try. We also highly recommend both themed restaurants. Overall, we had a wonderful holiday and would definitely love to come back!

It was our first family holiday by the sea with our 3-years old kid and it was just amazing! Location close to the sea, nice beach (cleaned by the hotel staff) with food & drinks during the day. Rooms were modern and comfortable being cleaned every day. Hotel has three pools, also clean and very good. Regarding restaurants in the hotel- just amazing. There is a main restaurant where you have everything you could dream about. And everything is very tasty. Then, Asian and Italian restaurants are there as well (you need to book in advance- for free!)- highly recommended, it was great experience. I have to thank to animation team as well- they were really amazing, great programme every day&night (except Monday) also for kids. Thank you, Hotel Astoria Mare, you do it really great!

​The kids' club was a huge hit with my little one; she absolutely loved it, wouldn't miss it for the world, and became incredibly attached to Nicole. The room itself was a good size and very comfortable for us, and we also really enjoyed the beach area. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend it!
