Clubhotel Miramar

RESTAURANT IS TOP! We are guests from Luxembourg (husband) and Armenia (me). We stayed at the hotel for 2 weeks and were super happy. The description fully meets the reality: everything was perfect, stuff is super friendly and helpful. Location is also perfect - right on the beach. The only minus is that the swimming pools were cold in September. The rest was PERFECT! As for the restaurant- TOP! Always delicious food - every day different cuisine! 🥰 The manager Georgy was always very kind and - together with the chef - organized a very nice surprise with sushi set for me! 😍 See enclosed the photos!!! An absolute 10/10 masterclass in dining – outshines Central London!I had dinner at the Blu restaurant tonight (9/9/26), and I am absolutely astonished. This was by FAR the best meal I have ever had in my life—and that is coming from someone who has dined at top hotel restaurants in Central London!The experience started with impeccable service and a beautiful bread service accompanied by an amazing array of butters, sauces, and purées. While I was still enjoying the bread, my main dish—the Duck Duo—arrived within about two minutes. The presentation was breathtaking, featuring vibrant colours, incredible textures, and an outstanding montage of flavours. Dessert was equally impressive and flawless.The venue itself is stunning, featuring a beautiful modern terrace with sleek lighting, comfortable seating, and an absolutely gorgeous view of the Black Sea coast at sunset.What truly elevated the evening was the staff. Georgi was a lovely man—incredibly friendly, welcoming, and highly professional—as were all of the waiting staff. They are an absolute delight and work so hard to make the evening special.I would happily pay £100+ for a meal of this calibre, so the fact that this is included in the Miramar hotel package is astonishing. HVD Clubhotel Miramar is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in, full stop. I will definitely be back next year and cannot wait. Highly, highly recommended—a true 5-star experience! 👏

Travelled as a family of 5. Early September 2026. Location of the hotel is the northern end of Obzor. Right on a beautiful beach with a shallow sea. 20 minutes walk into town, or €9 taxi. No shuttle or bus service available. Transfer from Bourgas Airport is around 1 hour on some mad mountain roads. The atmosphere of the hotel is a nice mixture between chilled out and young families. This is reflected in the 2 big pools. The main 1 is around the bars and eating area. Music on much of the day. Animation team activities ect. The other pool close by is very relaxed. No music and everyone mostly quietly sunbathing or sleeping. The atmosphere is also displayed in evening meal times. Go for an early dinner and it's nicely relaxed and not rushed. Go during peak times and it's rammed and you sometimes have to queue for food. Food options are pretty standard if you've ever been to an all inclusive before. I mainly enjoyed lunch and dinner, breakfast less so. But others in my family enjoyed breakfast the most, so that's just personal preference. I did find the food options a little limited if you have a fussy eating child like me. She mainly lived on chips all week. A la carte options were good. We went to the Mediterranean restaurant on the top floor and the boat restaurant on the beach. Both excellent food and service. Lots of bars around for a large variety of drinks. Drink options were mostly good. Good beer and wine. Some premium spirits. Cocktails a little underwhelming. Entertainment of an evening is a mini disco for the kids at 8.30, followed by main entertainment at 9.30. These were all mostly good too. Rooms were functional and kept clean all week. Towels and minibar refreshed daily. All staff were very friendly and hard working. The spa situation is a little weird. It's outside of the hotel in a seperate building a few minutes walk away. You have to just walk in the road to get there. However, the service there was also excellent. Overall, we had a great week. It's not 100% perfect, but that is reflected in the price

The staff is very well trained and extremely dedicated. The entertainers are very friendly and always ready to have fun, especially Didi and Ilenia.

positives - we went to the Miramar hotel for a week from the 11th of august 2026. it is about an hour by car from the airport, so not too bad. the location is good, the hotel has its own beach which is situated right by the hotel. this is kept very clean and has several life guards on duty during the day, which is very reassuring. Obzor is a buzzing and good place to go for local shops and some holiday shopping. it is about 7 euros by taxi to obzor and you can book the taxi from the hotel and they come quickly. the hotel is kept very clean and well organised, there is plenty of information about the hotel and notice boards to tell you what is going on, with a kids disco which our granddaughter loved and she is nearly 5. after the disco, there is just basic entertainment, but we didnt always stay for that. they had an entertainment team during the day around the pool, so you could join in if you wanted to. Rooms were kept clean and cleaned every day, basic but had what you needed. staff were mainly friendly, but some could favour another country more than others, especially if you were queuing for drinks, even for soft drinks during the day. Overall, a good family holiday destination. Negatives - Very very oily food .... Do not expect to go there and be served any English food if you are english, be prepared to experiment. if you like fish or pizza, you are going to be in heaven. However, all of the food catered for what i can only assume is a European palette, German, French, Etc. i lived on salad and pasta for the week, which i do like, but the chicken, duck, turkey, beef and fish, plus the vegetables were nearly all covered in an oil or cooked in an oil. I or my family could not eat it and were very disappointed. even a basic chicken nugget or fish finder for the children was not available, but luckily my granddaugter likes hashbrowns and salad. For this reason alone, we will not be returning to this hotel, which is such a shame, as all the other facilities were great. But the food although plenty of choice, was just not edible unless you are prepared to experiment with the oils cooked and served in.. I did see a lot of parents giving their children pasta and salad, so I dont think we were the only ones who struggled with this part of the holiday. Also just a heads up, if you have a late flight, ours was 11pm. check out is at 11 am, they will only give you a room until 1pm for 40 euros, which was not worth it for 2 hours. and when you check out, if you want to keep the hotel beach towels for the rest of your day until you are picked up for your flight, then they charge you 20 euro a towel, so keep your own towels out and just put them in your case before you leave. there is a luggage storage area and there are showers to use in the spa at no charge. just such a shame about the food. oh and if you have your own beach towels and they are yellow, dont leave them out in the room, as the cleaning staff may take them which is what happened to my daughter on our first day, and she never got it back.
