Clubhotel Miramar

We were absolutely thrilled with HVD Miramar and give it a full 5 stars. The entire complex is huge, beautifully maintained, and modernly furnished. The location right on the sandy beach is a huge advantage, making the sea just a few steps away. The food was absolutely excellent – varied, delicious, and there was a great selection available throughout the day. The staff also deserves high praise for being very pleasant, helpful, and smiling. The only minor downside was that the price for children was quite high. The entire hotel was completely quiet and peaceful in the evening and at night for a good rest. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this hotel to everyone! During our stay, there were big waves for 3 days, and unfortunately, on the last day, a strong current washed a gold ring off my hand. If any future guests happen to find it on the beach or in the sea, please reply to me here in the comments or in private message. We have just returned from HVD Miramar and had a fantastic holiday. From the first day until the last, everything was enjoyable and very well organized. The hotel is beautiful, clean and very well maintained. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and cleaned every day to a high standard. The whole property looks cared for and you can see that a lot of effort is put into keeping everything looking nice for the guests. The food was one of the highlights of our stay. There was a great variety every day and the quality was consistently good. Breakfast, lunch and dinner always offered plenty of choices, and everything was fresh and tasty. Even after several days we were still finding new dishes to try. The staff throughout the hotel were friendly, polite and always willing to help. Whether at reception, in the restaurants or around the pool, everyone greeted us with a smile. It created a very welcoming atmosphere and made us feel comfortable during our entire stay. A special mention should go to the foreign manager, who could often be seen around the hotel talking with guests and making sure everything was running smoothly. It was nice to see such a hands on approach and genuine interest in guest satisfaction. The beach area was clean and well maintained, and the pools were excellent. There was always enough space to relax and enjoy the beautiful sea views. The location of the hotel is also perfect for a peaceful and enjoyable holiday. What we liked most was the overall atmosphere. Everything felt relaxed, professional and guest oriented. It is the kind of place where you can truly switch off and enjoy your vacation without worrying about anything. Thank you to the whole HVD Miramar team for making our stay so enjoyable. We recently stayed at HVD Club Miramar, and overall, it was a truly wonderful experience. The rooms were excellent. We stayed in a standard room, which was exceptionally comfortable, well-furnished, and very quiet. My dad stayed in an adapted disabled room, which was perfect for him as a wheelchair user—spacious, well-equipped, and easy to navigate. The view from our room overlooking the adults-only pool was absolutely lovely. We also really appreciated the daily minibar restock, which included a great selection of drinks and snacks, and the coffee machine was a fantastic touch for a morning pick-me-up. The cleanliness across the entire hotel was outstanding. The housekeeping team did a fantastic job, and the staff maintaining the gardens and communal areas kept everything spotless at all times—something we really value. Accessibility was a huge highlight for us. My dad can walk short distances with support, as long as the surface is flat, and the hotel was incredibly well designed for this. Everything is on one level or easily accessible via ramps and lifts, and even the public bathrooms were easy for him to use. It made a big difference to our stay and is ideal for anyone with mobility needs. The entertainment team were fantastic and really brought the atmosphere to life, especially considering how quiet the hotel was. The kids’ club was incredible—my child, who is neurodiverse and usually quite anxious in these settings, absolutely loved it. He felt comfortable, included, and excited to join in every day, which meant a lot to us. For food and drink, we travelled during May half-term, and the hotel was very quiet. Because of this, only the buffet and one à la carte restaurant were open. The à la carte restaurant was a real highlight—every meal we had there was fantastic, the views were stunning, and the wine selection was excellent. The staff were also very accommodating, even making off-menu pasta dishes for the children, and my eldest really enjoyed the adult meals. The buffet restaurant had some great elements—the salad bar was incredible, and the dessert selection was honestly one of the best we’ve seen. However, the hot food was often lukewarm, likely due to the low number of guests. On our final day, when the hotel became busier, the buffet noticeably improved, with more variety (including sushi) and much better food temperature—unfortunately, that was the day we were leaving. The main communal areas were fantastic, the pool was fabulous, and the cocktails—along with the Bulgarian rosé—were definite highlights of the stay. We also took a trip into Obzor, which is a charming little town nearby. It’s perfect for a relaxed stroll and a bit of exploring. We visited the park as well—walking the first time, then taking a taxi the second time with my dad, which worked much better. It’s ideal for a half-day trip, especially if you’re travelling with someone with mobility needs. One of the standout aspects of the hotel was the staff. The bar team were exceptional—attentive, friendly, and always on hand. The entertainment staff were also brilliant, creating a really welcoming and inclusive atmosphere. The restaurant service, however, was a little inconsistent, and we occasionally had to remind staff about drinks. Despite a few minor drawbacks due to the quieter season, this was a truly special stay. The hotel is beautiful, well-maintained, and incredibly accommodating, and we would absolutely return—especially at a slightly busier time of year to experience it at its full potential. Currently on our last day and we definitely don't want to leave. The hotel and staff have been lovely from start to finish. The rooms are spacious and neat and cleaned everyday. The food was delicious with all sorts of hot and cold meals available as well as every drink you could think of. The whole hotel was being cleaned all day every day. The staff couldn't do enough for us. Kids loved the kids club and animation teams. Can't fault anything. It was quiet due to the time of year but this just meant me had everything to ourselves. Would recommend 👌
