Hotel Karolina

Absolutely amazing!!!!this was a top notch hotel w Absolutely lovely ppl who went out of their way to help when asked (theyre not mind readers im afraid anyone who isnt happy about that) ...the first day we had a young man take our luggage off of us immediately to take it upstairs for us(same on the last day) brought us to the rm asked if we needed anything etc it was incredible!!!!n i know they need to look serious but one smile at them n you get a smile every time they're young staff n theyre so sweet n so friendly!!! N the food...the fooooood!!!!!the first two days I kept shoving everything on plate cos it was a feast for the eyes!!!!incredible!!!!delicious!!!I was drooling even days after when I simply couldn't eat that much cos my stomach wouldn't allow it!!!!!too much amazing food!!!!Bulgarian night was a top night!!!!I even broke my no meat Fridays...it was just too good n I knew I wasnt gonna have that again anytime soon...it was defo worth it... On the last day we could put our luggage in a luggage rm n go about until the bus arrived could go back n forth if needed something out always helpful so were defo going there again n BTW you dont hear a peep from neighbours at night dunno how the hotel is made but I felt like we had nobody around us even though we did...fantastic holiday w the exception of weather of course after our arrival the weather turned for the worse we even saw a Bulgarian storm but I dont think the hotel owners n staff can do anything about ;) 105 out of 10

First impressions were very good, our room was clean and it was my partners bday so they had put a bottle of wine in our room. We were all inc. never had any problems with any of the meals. The pool is absolutely freezing !!! And everyone puts their towels out early ! Staff are not happy people, never smile or wish you good morning, there a young team who could do with some direction. Communication is extremely poor no information in your room regarding times of meals or bar service time. No curtesy room to use on the last day and we were not leaving the hotel till 10 pm ! So had to wash and change in the toilets. Now then let’s talk about the other guests in the hotel they’re rude and confrontational taking all the seats in the restaurant and saving them for themselves and friends causing a safety hazard obstructing fire exits. They bang into you and knock you out the way. Overall Bulgaria is beautiful,would I go back to this hotel unfortunately no.

Staff are incompetent and do not care. When asked about why they aren’t doing anything about people reserving sunbeds the night before their response is “there’s no issue with it, I don’t see why it shouldn’t be allowed”. The staff behind the bar are also rude. Asked for a vanilla milkshake - told to wait 2 minutes then they continue serving other customers while occasionally glancing over at us!
