Melia Sunny Beach

This hotel is fab, super clean the food is amazing and the staff are lovely ! My room was for me and the 2 children. We had an issue with the sofabed twice and they replaced it with another real bed in the room quickly and the manager of the hotel came and found me at the pool to let me know. The cleanliness is 10/10 there are people constantly cleaning sweeping the floor in the food area. The choice of food is amazing. We did the Indian one night was okay but returned for the naan breads and they had the best selection of curry’s on a lamb curry and a prawn one with pakoras this was also 10/10 Really happy with the hotel it’s in the heart of what is going on outside. The beach I did not love but that’s preference. If I chose to go back to sunny beach I would only come back to this hotel.

We visited here for 1 week in August. I cannot fault this hotel. It is a very large hotel. Although it doesn't feel overcrowded. We never had to queue for hardly anything. All restaurants had plenty of space and tables. Food was amazing!!! Wine, beer and fizzy drinks on tap. Never had to queue to use machines. We only tried the Indian restaurant out of the speciality restaurants and we loved it. Food was incredicle!! The location is amazing. A literal 2 minute walk to beach out the back of the hotel. And very close to sunny beach main strip. With abundance of shops, restaurants and bars. The hotel beach area is fab. Get there early if you want a good spot! Beach bar did paninis which were a great snack. And again beer and drinks on a self help basis. We stayed in a standard 3 bed room which was lovely! Very spacious and amazing view of the pools. Getting a sun bed is easy enough as long as you were down by 8.30am. To get a good spot. Although some days we came back around 2pm from beach etc and always found beds. Only watched evening entertainment once which was a magic show and we enjoyed it. Did get busy around the stage area around 8pm. Overall we had an amazing time. My partner has coealic and the hotel manager actually came and shown him around the restaurants explaining what he could have. Also provided him with gluten free options when we asked the restaurant staff. He ate plenty!! All staff we lovely, friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and well kept. A visit to nessebar is a must! Beautiful old town..we grabbed a taxi from outside took about 15 mins for 18 euros. Overall an amazing time. Will definitely return.

This summer I visited Melia Sunny Beach resort in Bulgaria. My family and I spent splendid time there. There's nothing to complain about. Services, cleanness, entertaining, delicious and tasty food are to be mentioned among many other aspects the hotel has to offer. It is my pleasure to recommend this wonderful resort. The system I benefited of, was All Inclusive.

Sorry but I can’t recommend this hotel. We paid £2,500 for two adults and a child. The room was large but the bathroom had a very high bath with a shower over it which had very little power. The main pool for children was not big enough for the amount of guests in the complex. We constantly found or selves covered in long hairs. I was hit on the head and two separate occasions with small hard balls. On one occasion someone was using a small base ball had I not been looking out it would have smashed into my wife’s face. The entertainment seating is inadequate for the amount of people we had to go out every night due to insufficient seating.

I have just came back from this hotel and it was one of the best I have stayed in I went with my husband and 6 year old daughter and it's amazing there was no complaints from us , it was my birthday out there and they left a cake and note on my birthday which was a lovely touch, our room was so big and had a big balcony facing the pool, the swimming pools was all good and the slides was good too , I loved the variety of food options if you don't want to have the buffet which was all good choices there is a Chinese and Indian buffet restaurant and they was both oustanding, the kids club was good and the mini disco was lively and they had great entertainment after the mini disco , we went out a few nights too and sunny beach is lively but safe with children , fun fair was amazing and the shops out front of hotel are packed with bits and not too expensive , we had no troubles from the locals either they was friendly, I'm coming back next year for my 40 th with family and friends this time. Love love love it 🩷
