Melia Sunny Beach

A good if rather large hotel. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. I had to move my room with my family due to my mobility issues but was helped and supported by the staff to do so. The Customer Relations Manager was particularly helpful as was Maria in Reception and I am very much indebted to them for their assistance. I enjoyed my two week stay. The food was good although a little repetitive but there was always something to eat. The puddings were delicious. This is a good family hotel, there is plenty to do for the youngsters and I would recommend it.

This had been so far one of the best all inclusive hotels where we had ever been! The hotel is managed by the highest standards, this without a doubt, it for sure deserves it's 4 stars! The staff was super polite, diligent, helpful and professional at any time. During our stay of one week there was absolutely nothing to complain about. The hotel is super clean, wherever you go, may it be the beach, the gym or the one of their restaurants. Everywhere you could detect staff members cleaning up constantly. Twice I returned from their well equipped gym at 00h30 in the morning, when I could still see people wet sweeping the floors and elevators! The food offered at the restaurants is just amazing, they offer a huge variety of food and dishes, local and international. Service at the restaurant was always immaculate. The rooms were super clean, the maids cleaned the room every morning as it should be. The beach of the hotel is neat and tidy as well, with a bar on the spot where you can have beverages, paninis and soft ice cream. The hotel pools are nice, even though I never went, I prefer the sea. Entertainment at night is also great. They got kids club and mini disco as usual in such hotels.

This is an excellent hotel and we will be returning. Room. Spacious, but on a personal level the bed was too low. I'm 6ft and 78 years old but that was a minor thing. It was comfortable and gave a good night's sleep. The shower was over the bath which again caused me minor problems. I'm sure if I'd said anything to management I would have been moved but as I'd been given a free upgrade to a sea view it would have been a little churlish. Another minor drawback is there are no drawers. The food is excellent and plentiful but there is no loose ice cream. Lollies for children but I like to make a banana split. Drinks are first rate and the cocktails are better than in some bars! The coffee is good also. Staff are friendly and helpful so I very much recommend this hotel. Phil. We recently stayed at Melia Sunny Beach and had a fantastic holiday from start to finish. The location is excellent, with everything we needed close by. Our Junior Suite was perfect for our family—spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped. The food was really good, with plenty of variety and different themed options each night, which kept every meal interesting. The entertainment team were amazing and worked incredibly hard to make everyone’s stay enjoyable. Our girls absolutely adored Papi and Bella, and the entertainments team who made their holiday extra special. A special mention also goes to Kire and the team in the spa. The girls loved their chocolate massages, and my Turkish bath was absolutely amazing—one of the highlights of the trip. Matthias, the manager, was always organised, professional, and helpful, ensuring everything ran smoothly and guests were well looked after. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend Melia Sunny Beach to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable family holiday. We would happily return in the future.

Just came back from staying at the hotel, the hotel is clean and the food well cooked but didn't feel it was a platinum hotel. The rooms were clean and spacious The food was always well cooked, but for us it got very boring as it was much different from day to day. If you love cakes this hotel is for you , but as a person who doesn't like cake there wasn't much choice of dessert. The pool diner did burgers, ribs, hotdogs and toasties with chips, but stayed at other hotels where there was a better selection. Sorry but our experience of the animation team was not good, they never once came round the pool asking us if we would like to join in, and there dance round the pool in the morning was always done in a half hearted way, like they didn't want to be there. But I think it depends if your a person who joins in on everything or not. The hotel is very well placed, with shops and restaurants as soon as you have left the entrance, and the beach is just over a tiny bridge. Where there are plenty of sun loungers and a place where you can get food and drinks all in with your inclusive package. All in all the hotel is good but it needs more to be a platinum hotel, most of which costs nothing to do. Our main thing were the staff worked really hard but never looked very happy, a simple greeting when you entered the restaurant would be nice, and staff smiling and talking to the guests.
