Parkhotel Odessos

A mockery of the customers' money! I paid separately for a parking spot, but a hotel employee actually parked abusively right in my spot, literally pressing their car against my car's bumper. The management tried to cover everything up by sliding a piece of paper under my room door and insultingly offering me a free massage, which I refused.The peak of impudence was the next day: when I returned to the spot I had paid for and been assigned by them, the security guard started harassing us, repeatedly saying, "Sir, you cannot park here," even though I had the parking ticket and proof of payment displayed in the windshield—he had absolutely no idea how to read it. Miserable services, organizational chaos, and aggressive staff harassing customers with their own money. I will attach the photo evidence showing the employee's car pressed against mine!

Perfect time on this hotel. Young man in reception helped me any time i had a problem. Rooms small but perfect. We spend time there when we went to sleep! Animators? Fantastic, very friendly. Gregory nr 1 ♥️ Cleaning crew does nice job. Food? Varied. Each day something else. Swimming pools? One bigger 120-160 cm, two small for children. And another pool nearby. This is fantastic place for family with children.

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights and we had a really good time in general. The rooms were ok, however we expected more. In one of the rooms we had ( we booked 2 rooms) there was a nasty smell from the sewage, which the cleaning ladies resolved partly by pouring some chemicals into the canal and putting a towel on top of it, but still was not resolved on 100%. I had the feeling we collected the sewage smell from all rooms around. The food was great, there were theme evenings with traditional Bulgarian food, sea food etc. Staying for more than 5 nights and you will start noticing the repetitive food options which is understandable. The pool was great, no fights for deck chairs in the mornings, all tourists behaved well. Mainly families. A lot of games from the animation team and nice music on certain intervals. The food and drinks were a bit average from the pool bar and lobby bar, but still ok. The hotel is advertised as 4 stars hotel and I believe it was when opened originally as I spotted they won various awards, but 10 yrs ago. Now, things are different and it needs improvements, the door of our bathroom started to rot the wood in it, there are broken tiles here and there around the hotel, some rotten iron parts can be seen too. I want to say a huge thank you to all the staff, from the receptionists, through the waiters in the restaurant, the cleaning ladies, the barman’s and animators. All were absolutely great and very friendly. All in all it was a great family holiday and the small things I mentioned above are more as a feedback rather than complaining 😉 All the best ❤️

I was with my friend and we had the best experience. The rooms were clean food was great and the location awesome. The service was helpful and the hotel entertainers and animation guys were the best and giving us the best time and funny entertainings. Thank you anto and khristov

I am writing this review with great disappointment, as I have been a returning guest at this hotel for the past four years. Unfortunately, this stay was a complete letdown from start to finish, and the quality has severely declined. Our problems began even before we arrived. We originally booked and paid for a one-bedroom apartment through Direct Booking. However, the night before our arrival at 8 PM, we received an email stating our apartment was no longer available due to "technical reasons." After long and frustrating phone calls with both the booking agency (who offered embarrassing solutions) and the hotel, we were assured the problem was resolved and we would receive the apartment we paid for. Upon arrival, this promise was broken. The hotel informed us they could not provide the apartment and instead offered us two connecting rooms. We reluctantly accepted, only to discover one room was adapted for people with disabilities, featuring a wet room that flooded the entire bathroom floor, causing a terrible damp smell. After enduring this for two days, we complained to the hotel manager, who finally moved us to an apartment. The accommodation was not 4-star quality. Both the rooms and the apartment were in a poor state of repair, showing a clear lack of investment. We found swollen parquet flooring, and cleanliness was a major issue. In the apartment, we discovered gum stuck to the headboard, toilets as dirty as a public restroom, dust everywhere, and even cockroaches and ants. The bed that was supposed to be a king-size was actually represented by two single beds with a king-size mattress placed on top. However, the beds were separated from each other, and they didn't even bother to put a proper fitted sheet for that mattress, the maids using two separate single-size sheets instead. Absolutely embarrassing. The food was another negative point. The quality and variety were significantly worse than in previous years. The bars, both at the ground floor and by the pool, were understaffed for the number of guests, leading to very long waiting times. The drink station at the restaurant was particularly bad; the soft drinks were clearly watered down, and when the CO2 ran out, the staff often didn't bother to replace the cylinder, leaving drinks flat. The only positive aspects were the staff, who were generally friendly and eager to help, and the animation team, who were very good. We booked with an early booking rate from last November. While I am partially disappointed given what we paid, I can confidently say that paying the full seasonal price would in no way reflect the hotel's current reality. This hotel is operating at a 3-star level at best, with the biggest minuses being cleanliness, the quality of the furniture, and overall service maintenance. We will not be returning.
