Sol Nessebar Resort

A wonderful experience for our entire family. Excellent location, polite, and helpful staff. We felt well taken care of throughout our entire stay. Our rooms were cleaned every day, and the staff was always friendly and accommodating. This is our fourth year visiting the complex, and we would gladly return.

Fresh and clean hotel with superb meals. Facility is renovated and looks fresh and clean. Pools are medium size, but not crowded. There was no pursuit at 6:00 am for sun beds reservations and there are at least 4 places to find some. Great aquapark (not so big and perfect for kids, even older ones). Animations, sport activities and many more. Only one disadvantage is beach. Very small, with green plants in water.

A question for hotel is it all open in the 1st June or is alot of facilities closed thanks

We stayed for one week at Sol Nessebar Mare with a Luxair Tours all-inclusive package. Overall, the holiday was enjoyable, and the flights, hotel facilities, pools, water park, and beach were all very good. One area that needs improvement is the reception service. When we arrived around 9:00 PM, we were simply checked in and given a snack bag. Nobody informed us that food was still available in one of the Japanese restaurants or that an evening entertainment show was taking place. A little more information at check-in would have made a much better first impression. The biggest disappointment was the food. If you are vegetarian, be prepared for very limited choices. While there are vegetarian options, the variety is quite small. Even for non-vegetarians, the menu felt repetitive, with many of the same items being served day after day. We also experienced a food safety issue when my spouce found a thick piece of plastic inside a bread roll at breakfast. We reported it to the restaurant staff, but nobody seemed concerned or interested in investigating the issue. When we informed reception, the response was disappointing and did not reflect the seriousness of the situation. One practical tip for future travelers: bring basic medicines for sore throat, fever, and colds. The on-site doctor consultation was extremely expensive for minor illnesses.. We paid €264 for for my spouse and son for basic medication for common cold throat symptoms. Despite these issues, the resort itself is well maintained, the water park is excellent for families, and there is always something to do. With better guest communication, improved food variety, and more attentive customer service, the experience would be much better.
