Apartamenty Horizont Resort

Very disappointing experience at Horizont Resort. We booked a sea-view apartment, but the view was mostly blocked by trees. The sink was installed almost above the toilet, which made it very uncomfortable to use. The toilet door lock was broken and squeaked loudly, and the air conditioner was extremely dirty when we arrived. Reception promised to move us to a better apartment if we paid for cleaning, but when the apartment became available, they refused. This is our third year staying here, but this was the worst apartment and the worst service we have ever experienced.

Rooms old, food expensive. Pool… it is free to use but……. You must pay for sunbed which is 6 euros for plastic and 18 for mattres one! Also staff are horrible, screaming, shouting, put towels on the deck and they demanded to move to sunbeds and pay money! Manager of the pool came in in very aggresive maner, screaming, talking croatian which i didint understood a word! Started to tow our belongings on the floor everythere! Hotel managar was not able to help, just said forget everithing! Got video of this incident which im going to share on facebooo amd youtube!!!

Stayed here for 9 days of the bridge Festival. Clean basic but amazing value. Your own apartment for hostel prices. Close to all amenities. Sea is lovely at this time of year. I have already booked for 2020.
