Apartments Riva

Was a simple (but sweet) Aparthotel, on the Marina, and we got to use the other Maistra Hotel facilities, too, while we were there, which was a real bonus! Everything is within walking distance, too, and parking was also included in our stay.

We was so excited to get back to Riva and it’s fabulous views after missing out staying there the previous year due to covid and cancelled flights. When arriving to check in I was told by the nice receptionist that there was no room at Riva for us due to cleaning and them wanting to give us a nice apartment (basically they had probably overbooked) so we was being moved to Belvedere, which is better. I commented that we had stayed in both previously and preferred Riva which is why we had specifically booked there. I was slightly annoyed that as members of the Maistra loyalty programme they had not let know this before we arrived especially as we had done the online check in with them just the day before arriving so we should of been just been collecting the keys not being moved elsewhere. Our Belvedere apartment was basic but nice enough but felt very strange that it had a big slippy bath that was difficult to get into rather than a walk in shower. It was suppose to be a sea view and we could see glimpses of the sea, through trees and a big resort map. It was far too crowded at Belvedere for us as we was all still suppose to be social distancing etc but as far as we could see it was like covid never existed. There was no teen club for my daughter to join in with, and we saw a lot of teens dragging behind their parents on their phones looking bored. We will definitely stay again but only if we know for certain we will get Riva.

Booked apartments Riva as we have stayed in this location before at both Riva and Belvedere. We much prefer the views and less busy vibe of Riva but on arrival our booking was changed to Belvedere which was clearly not what we had booked. The apartment provided had no view as it was obscured by trees, again not what we had paid for or expected. The area was packed with tourists and we were very nervous as there was a complete disregard for any form of social distancing. Very disappointed with whole experience!

We was here 10 days this summer and it was best vacation. Very clean rooms, kind personal, tasty food- everything deserves the highest rating. Best recommendations from us. Thank you very much for this special days!

Stayed here for 1 week, top floor apartment with lovely view over harbour. Balcony bit small, though wasnt quite warm enough to sit on as didn't get sun at all. Apartment basic which you would expect for the price. Staff at Pineta always very helpful, and even brought a bottle of bubbly for hubby on his birthday. Kitchen very basic, really missed having a toaster. Pretty quiet didnt hear much noise from any neighbouring apartments
