hotel is in a great spot, food was good and pool area just what was needed. I would have liked a balcony but it would seem that solo travellers don't need them? I have rated this above average mainly because of the staff in the bar who chatted to me when they weren't too busy and told me where things were in the town. As someone travelling alone this was really helpful so please pass my thanks to them

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our stay at Arena Hotel Holiday is absolutely outstanding. After spending the last four summers vacationing on the Croatian coast, we can confidently say that this is the best hotel we have ever stayed in. Everything was exceptional. The hotel is spotless, beautifully maintained, and every detail reflects a high standard of quality. The food deserves special praise—it was the best we have experienced. The buffet offers an incredible variety of fresh, delicious, and high-quality dishes, with something for everyone’s taste. We would especially like to thank Robert, the Restorant Manager. He is an exceptional professional—kind, welcoming, attentive, and genuinely caring towards every guest. His positive attitude and dedication make a real difference, and he goes above and beyond to ensure everyone has a wonderful experience. People like Robert are a true credit to the hotel. The entire team are friendly, professional, and always ready to help, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We highly recommend Arena Hotel Holiday to anyone looking for an unforgettable holiday. Without a doubt, this has been our best hotel experience on the Croatian coast. We attended to Tear It Up! Croatian rockabilly festival in the beginning of June. The location of the hotel was good. 5 min walk to the beach & restaurants. 10 min walk to the event venues and 10 min walk to the port where most of the restaurants are. The hotel had a nice pool and breakfast was really good too, nice selection of everything. Lactos free yogurts was the only thing missing. Room were cleaned everyday and so was the pool area. the room was of a good size, with a double bed and sofa and a large balcony. It was quiet except one day when there was a disco for the kids outside, just below our balcony, but that was OK. There was also free parking for our rental car everyday. Service was really nice at the bar. We didn't eat lunch or dinner at the hotel restaurant, there are plenty of good restaurants within 10 min walking distance. Octupus on the beach was a really good fish restaurant, but there's plenty of different restaurants to choose from. Pula is also near and very easy to visit by car or by cab. Amphitheatre was really something! We really enjoyed the relaxed feeling in Medulin, the atmosphere was excellent van good value for money.

Have just returned from a lovely 2 weeks at this hotel. This is our 3rd visit to medulin having stayed twice at the TUI blue next door. This was our first visit to this hotel and we both said we preferred this hotel and would definitely return . Our room was ready on arrival. Rooms: cleaned daily fridge toiletries hairdryer and free safe plenty of storage space and air con. We had a pool view and sea view. There is no kettle but I took my own . Supermarkets close by . Restaurant: we couldn’t fault the food plenty of choice never went hungry. Pool: nice refreshing pool same level all over. You could change pool towels throughout the day. Entertainment: for our first few days there wasn’t any . The girls who do the entertainment are very young and lack enthusiasm but hopefully after time will get better. Doesn’t seem enough sun loungers for amount of guests. We think we were the only English there but that didn’t both us. All staff were polite and friendly. Would definitely return and would recommend.

Nice and friendly staff, they’re all very kind. The hotel itself could use little renovation, carpets are old and dated. Also they could put as information that the hotel pool is for non swimmers. The food was good. I was happy to see that they had many options for vegetarians. But overall very good.
