When looking at the photos the appartment do look like being built in the 70ies which might be the case, however on the inside really nicely, modern and convinient equipped/modernized. We had an apprtment with seaview which was partly covered by trees but this did not matter because the trees provided some shadow. The forest/trees around the appartments are grown up, which means you can get sun-protected from the beach to the appartment and other infrastructure, also the parking places are in the shadow which is very appreciated. As stated in the other reviews, there are many guests in the different facilities in the area, however due to many different beaches around, it spreads out nicely.

This is a wonderful family resort perfect for activities and relaxing. We enjoyed kayaking and snorkeling within metres of our apartment, which was conveniently situated at the beach. Our children loved swimming in the beach and spending time on the aquapark (additional charge). We also hired e-scooters to explore the resort. Resort feels very safe and teenagers can be independent. Small supermarket and a variety of cafes and restaurants, as well as ice cream and burgers available until late. Our apartment had a lovely shaded balcony with sea view. Recommend a first floor apartment for the best sea views. I would recommend coming prepared for beach activities as the pool was very busy and we therefore spent most of our time at the beach. Picnic blanket, towels, snorkels and water shoes are essential! Beaches are stony, not sandy, but the water is beautifully clear and we loved swimming. On the third day of our holiday my daughters soft toy was accidentally taken by the housekeeping team, which she was distraught about as she had had this toy since she was born. The housekeeping and reception team worked tirelessly to find this, and we were eventually reunited with the toy just before checkout, much to our delight. We can't thank the team enough for finding this irreplaceable toy. Service from reception throughout our stay was great, they are so helpful and will go the extra mile to help. A great base to explore the Pula region with a hire car, or just to explore the resort, which has plenty to keep the whole family occupied. Will definitely recommend!

Where to start. Our “two bedroom apartment” was actually one bedroom and the living room pull out sofa from 1980, complete with metal bars poking you. When you come into the apartment, there was a strong perfume smell that triggered headaches - it was impossible to get rid of. There was gross black mould in the shower, unpainted drywall patches all over the rooms, and an ant infestation. We had to hide all food up high, until we realized the ants were climbing the wall. along with ants came other fun insects to eat them which triggered the kids and myself. Giant centipedes with hard shells are creepy. If you’re lucky enough to get a newer unit, I’d say you’d likely be fine, but make sure to confirm. Avoid the A block rooms. We’ve stayed in Croatia for 3 weeks and were in 100 year old homes that were better maintained and clean. So no excuse for this. The front desk is rude on a good day - the only good I can say about this place is the beach. But it’s a public beach so if your rooms are far, you may have to fight the hotel guests and local tourists. Pula itself is wonderful and we had amazing excursions. But will definitely stay elsewhere next time. Oh and re: the ant problem, they offered us traps. Bandaid solutions.
