Hotel Adriatic

Really nice hotel in a great location at the port in Rovinj. We had a superior room which was very nice & functional, it appeared to be extremely dark until a member of staff kindly helped us locate the remote control for the skylight shutters. The highlight of the hotel was the excellent breakfast served by friendly & professional staff. We would have given the hotel 5 stars but the lift was out of order for our entire 14 day stay & we were on the top floor.

I don't know where to begin. My husband describes Rovinj as his favourite place in the world and believe me, we have seen a lot of world! The Adriatic, Rovinj's oldest hotel sits proudly in the very heart if the town and, is nothing short of amazing. The décor is a mix of old world charm and shabby chic, big comfortable chairs you sink into, beautiful rugs and this extends to the wrap around terrace with it's beautiful upholstered furniture overlooking the marina and town square, a great place for people watching. The rooms are large and comfortable with high ceilings and beautiful detailed coving and our bathroom was lovely! Now for the very best part, the food is nothing short of outstanding! The breakfast served until 12:00 is amazing and plentiful, the dinners we had were excellent and delicious, and all served with excellent bread, the best olive oil we have ever tasted and the most gracious and friendly service we have ever experienced in all our travels. Each and every member of staff we interacted with was beyond words "lovely" and we feel we arrived as guests and left (very reluctantly) as friends. It is quite simply, the best hotel we have ever stayed in. If you are considering The Adriatic, just book, you will not be disappointed. An outstanding experience at Hotel Adriatic. We stayed there for a week and thoroughly enjoyed every moment. The hotel is in the very centre of town, on the principal square. It is an older building, but has been thoroughly modernised to the highest possible standard. The reception areas are expansive, with a sitting area and bar. The ground floor extends to the Brasserie, which is one of the best restaurants in town. The bedroom was very comfortable, with an enormous king-size plus bed and a large bathroom Standards of cleanliness were impeccable. Best of all were the staff. They were uniformly anxious to please, courteous and friendly. The hotel’s terrace was a pleasant place in the evening, watching the passeggiata with a glass of cold Malvasia. The Adriatic is a great hotel. I recommend it without reservation and will certainly return.

Fabulous hotel in charming Rovinj by the waterfront. Great location, rooms, comfort and service! Highly recommend.

This was a truly fantastic hotel in the heart of Rovinj. The staff upgraded our room for free, and the complimentary made-to-order breakfast was the best we had across our entire European trip. The partnership with the Grand Park Hotel is a fantastic perk — we used the gym, spa and pool there for free (about a 20-minute walk, or they’ll drive you over by golf cart). Note that the hotel isn’t accessible by car, but they coordinate pick-up and drop-off via golf cart, so it’s seamless.
