Hotel Molindrio Plava Laguna

I’ve been here six nights now and I don’t know how long they have been under the Melia hotel brand but I must say that there’s nothing I would change. The staff are very friendly and efficient and seem to be very to be working there. All the usual grumbling points are covered, the hotel is scrupulously clean the food is excellent and the rooms are of a good size. There are three ways to get into Porec, public transport, land train and water taxi. If like me you have car hire during your stay the hotel is well positioned to explore most of the resorts in the north of Croatia. On this occasion I have been here on my own but I cannot wait to bring my good lady as soon as possible. Well done everyone.

Room and bed is ok, though pillows are disastrous. Bathroom should be renovated. Breakfast was below expectations. Coffee is bad throughout the hotel. Wellness is small and completely inadequate for hotel of this capacity. Tv channels offer is poor.

The hotel has no atmosphere. Our room had not been cleaned and whilst in the room a man just opened the door without knocking to repair the balcony door. They were good in immediately finding us another room. The buffet was basic and of low quality. The beach is more than a 10 minute walk. Lovely staff, great water sports nearby. No evening entertainment. Pools were nice. I wouldn’t recommend for the two thousand pounds that it cost us for 1 week. There are far more lovelier places than this one. The rooms were similar to Premier Inn standards

This is a beautiful hotel we stay here as my son was competing in the sports stadium near by . Staff are extremely helpful & friendly Rooms were very clean Restaurant was really nice good food choices . Lovely pool areas Overall a really nice place to stay in a beautiful area

The rooms are very small. The carpet on the floor of the rooms and hallways are stained. The spa is uninviting. The food is below average. The outdoor pool is small and is very deep in the middle so not great for kids. There is a shallow pool for younger kids. The restaurant for breakfast and dinner was uninviting and felt more like a school trip experience rather than a 4 star hotel. I could go on but I won’t. The shower had good water pressure. The staff at the bar and pool cafe were very good. The bought cocktails are great. The food at the pool cafe was a lot better quality than the main restaurant. The hotel definitely lacked a holiday atmosphere. We looked forward to going home.
