Hotel Park Plaza Arena

We had a brilliant stay at Park Plaza Arena Pula in September 2025. We booked an interconnecting room, which was perfect for our family. The room was spacious, clean, and very well equipped. The hotel itself is spotless, and the staff are friendly without being overbearing. They are attentive but never intrusive, which for us was the perfect balance. The food was excellent. We booked half board and thoroughly enjoyed both breakfast and dinner each day. We also had lunch at the hotel during our stay, which was equally delicious. The location is ideal—very close to the beach and just a short walk to a park, other hotels, a coffee shop, and the marina. We will definitely be visiting again. It was a fantastic stay.

We have written many reviews over the years of the various hotels we have stayed in. The Park Plaza Arena in Pula is at the very top of these. We stayed here for 4 nights and had a fantastic time. First of all, the service of ALL staff was incredible. We would like to thank everyone who made our stay so enjoyable. It started well, when we checked in and found bubbles and snacks in our room together with a note wishing us a happy wedding anniversary. All around the hotel, we received service with a smile, genuine helpfulness, and good communication. Some (pool bar staff) even went over and beyond what was expected. We were given a bus timetable on arrival and told where the bus stop was (max 10 minute walk from hotel). It was so easy to use the public transport into Pula centre. Our room was spacious and had everything we needed. It was cleaned by the time we returned from breakfast (between 9 and 10am), and it was always spotless. Breakfast buffet was plentiful and extremely varied. If anything had run out, we only had to mention it to the staff and a refill would arrive very quickly. We prefer to eat out at independent restaurants but we did use the evening buffet once. The food was high quality, and the wine/beer was good too. The deep tissue massage I had was excellent. We did not use the pool more than an hour per day but there always seemed to be plenty of loungers, chairs and tables. It is hard to find anything less positive to write about - but if we have to mention something it would be the music around the pool, which was unnecessary and slightly annoying in our view. We would love to return!

Great resort in Pula. The hotel is charming and modern and the rooms were very comfortable with all the amenities that you would need. The breakfasts were fantastic with many choices and had a great restaurant for lunches and a large buffet dinner. The service was very good and the staff were very friendly. The highlight of the property were the two person chaise lounges along the Adriatic Sea and the rocks along the shore were great for watching sunsets. They have a large outdoor pool with many chaise lounges and the deck is cleaned every evening. Nice touch was free parking.

We always have holidays in September as it covers my birthday and our anniversary. We decided this year we wanted to just relax. This hotel was just perfect. Very clean, great staff, quiet atmosphere, good food. We had breakfast and dinner here every day. It was from an extensive buffet, food was varied and great standard every day. We always finished off with drinks near the pool area, it was so relaxing and I had a few cigars during my time here. We went into Pula one day and did a walking tour which the hotel set up. Apart from that we spent our days on sun loungers around the pool, getting tanned and just simply relaxing. Massive shout out to Tamara, she looked after us every night, making sure we had enough drinks and always happy and cheerful. Both my wife and I work in hotels in central london, so we both know how hotels run and I must say, Thank you very much for looking after us so well Arena Park Plaza Pula, we are already planning our return next year.
