Hotel Sipar Plava Laguna

I had high hopes for my stay, but unfortunately the experience did not live up to expectations. The hotel is well located and the rooms are spacious, but several issues significantly affected the overall impression. Despite staying on the third floor, I had problems with dengue mosquitoes in the room, which was both unexpected and concerning. Even worse, a very uncomfortable incident occurred when staff entered my room without knocking—while I was naked in the shower. I sincerely hope the hotel addresses this. The bathroom showed clear signs of mold, especially in the shower, which did not feel hygienic. I tried to raise these concerns with the staff, but the response was neither friendly nor helpful. Breakfast ok. Buffé dinner was bad. Go to restaurant instead. The bed was very hard. The AC was not working. Difficult to sleep. I hope the hotel takes this feedback seriously and makes improvements. With more care and respect for guests, it could become a truly pleasant place to stay.

We spent a few days at Hotel Sipar Plava Laguna in September 2024 and had a very pleasant stay. The hotel is clean and nicely maintained, with a calm atmosphere. Most of the guests were German, which is also reflected in the style of service – organized and efficient. The food was good, and there’s a small water park for kids, which is a great bonus for families. The beach is lovely and well-kept. One big advantage is the free charging for electric cars – a real plus! Overall, a solid choice for a relaxing seaside holiday.

We stayed in a premium family room with balcony and sea view. View is quite obscured by trees which is unfortunate however we could still see the sea and it was very pleasant. The rooms are modern and very clean, basic but perfectly fine. Bathroom also. The pool area was very nice. Food and drinks were good with plenty of choice at the evening (half board buffet) and at breakfast. Had no problem parking.

We stayed in this hotel as a family during spring 2023 (March) a couple of nights on full board basis. Pool was closed during this period, so cannot comment about that. Hotel offers private parking which was great, location is right on the beach of Stella Maris and close to everything. Rooms were quite basic, but clean, nice balcony with a beautiful sea view. Food was delicious, all meals great. Staff helpful and kind. I would definetely recommend this hotel.

I was simply amazed by everything in this hotel. Super modern hotel, everything was clean and well organized. We stayed in superior room with sea-side view with half-board. The rooms are big and very clean. Modern bathroom with big shower. The view could be better but then again we were a little unfortunate because there was a large pine tree right infront of our balcony blocking the view a little. At breakfasts and dinners you actually have a feeling you are sitting in a nice resturant and not some turist canteen. Sure we went a little outside the season (mid september) but the hotel was still sold out and there were a lot of people, but you don't wait in line for food for more than 2 mins. Everything is freshly made infront of you. A lot of choices - vegi, meat, fish, potatos, rice, bread, salad,... trully everything you could wish for. The drinks are not included in dinner service. The location of the hotel is right on the beach. A lot of different beaches nearby - sandy beach (about 100 m from the hotel), concrete beach just infront of the hotel - also modified for the disabled, stone beach - 50 m from the hotel,... Hotel provides you free sunbeds and umbrellas - which was really suprising for the Croatian coast. The only negative side about the location is probably the lack of markets in the area (the closest one is probably around 1,5 km away). But you have a lot of little "kiosk bakerys" nearby. The staff is really friendly, helpfull and always smilling. Will definetly revisit.
